I just got this game a week ago, since it's been nine years since I've played a pokemon game(last one dating back to ruby) I've had better memories of the original gold so I decided to pick this remake up. Anyways, since I barely use the ds for online play, I keep forgetting about the stupid friend code systems. Does anyone want to trade friend codes, so we can battle, trade etc?

yeah I didn't get black or white because of what I've heard about it.

What did you hear about it? I'm curious.
It has huge aesthetic improvements, and recieved glowing reviews.

yeah I grew tired of the series after ruby, it felt very repetitive and now it feels a little more fresh.

I hadn't played a Pokemon game since the original Gold/Silver until I picked up Black last summer. At first I wasn't amazed as the changes seemed almost entirely cosmetic but I borrowed the other games from friends to catch 'em all (... I had to, the pokerap demanded it) and playing them backwards I noticed how much really was added to Black, though I wish they'd kept the pokemon following thing from HG/SS.
