I love rpg maker vx except for 2 things
1 limited resources
2 the Pokemon-style combat crap
in engine 001 the combat is good you walk up hit enter and u swing your sword until the player is dead. is there a way to do this on rpg maker vx

Yeah, you need an ABS combat script, look around and you'll find plenty of info, even on this forum.
As for your vx complaints:
1- make your own
2-Pokemon is massive, and vx itself is nothing like it

This is a terrible topic and you made two of them on top of that. Closing both. There is a script list and a resource forum. Learn to search.
