Well I'm back but this time with an Awesome Idea :3 Port RPG Maker's RPG_RT.exe to DOS ohmy.gif Why? With DOSBOx you'll play them :3 Why such an Old OS? Because Apereantly, Modern Devices such as Android AND iOS do have DOSBox Emulator :3 Meaning, if we can make a replica of RPG_RT in another language (BASIC? or C? Maybe :S) we might port it and thus play it in our Devices biggrin.gif I got the Idea from a site with FF_EN (Final Fantasy Endless Nova) with a "Patch" (Sadly didn't work for me) for DOS, since it was in the DOS Role Playing Games section. So What do you guys say? I know it's not that NEW NEW (Like RMVXAce) but it might be worth it :3

Actually, if a device is powerful enough, you can run Windows 95 or 98 through DOSBox, and then run RPG Maker games that way. Or, if you just want RM2K/2K3 games on a portable, read up on a homebrew app for the PSP called "EasyRPG".

I've never felt a burning need to play any RPG Maker games on the go, so I don't know how well either of these methods work, but the possibility is already out there.

Well, 2k3 would have it easier than XP or VX because it doesn't use Ruby runtimes and is just native code. For a simple idea, run it on Linux with Wine and you'll notice a passable performance. But this is only valid for a x86 (or eventually x64) processor architecture. A iPhone 4, for instance, uses a proprietary CPU named Apple A4 (heavily based on the ARM Cortex-A8); which means several layers of emulation are necessary.

This so doesn't worth the effort.
