Hello,
I am currently working on a Dragonball Z rpg in rpg maker 2003 and i would like to add flying into my game. The only way i could think of making this work was placing an event that looked like nimbus(or a skill for actual flight) and have it call a common event. The event would place the starting location of the airship with a blank graphic under the hero. It would then have the hero enter the vehicle and change the graphic of the airship to either Goku flying or Goku on nimbus. I was able to pull this off pretty easily. The issue I am having is when they leave the airship i want it to either disappear, change it location or change its graphic( in the case of nimbus the airship graphic would change from Goku on nimbus to nimbus on it's own). I thought i could handle this by making a common event which was activated when they called the previous event, having it wait for a key to be pressed(enter key) then when this happened i would just simply move the airship to another map, save the current hero's location in variables then move my old event to that location... sadly i cannot get this part of it to work sad.gif, what currently happens is you get on the airship everything is fine but if they press enter you get off and you see Goku walking around and the airship sitting there with Goku on it. I'm not against doing this completely different if someone knows of a better way.

So if anyone has any ideas or insight on how i might get this desired functionality it would be much appreciated smile.gif

Thanks.

Hmm I guess it isn't possible sad.gif Though I won't give up just yet, I'll keep messing with stuff until i can figure this out... If i find my answer I will post it here.
akura
all you have to do is make the hero a sprite motion pose sprite sheet in all directions
under common parallal events , press a button an depending on which direction your hero is facing is the direction the flying sprite will be facing an their you go

an give people time to reply
