Hey how do i get this to work in battles on yanflys melody script?
Kread-EX
Your questions are very very vague. Also, it's the wrong section so moving to Script Support.

So please elaborate. Audio Engine XT is a complex system. What does not work?
jebber
I am sorry.

the audio engine work fine for map audio and title audio...
but i cant seem to get it to play my tracks in battle, i figure this is cause im using yanflys melody script
Kread-EX
I checked it out and yeah, the two aren't compatible. Melody is a beast to work with so depending of what exactly you want to achieve (you don't necessarily need ALL the Audio XT features), there might be an easier way than a compatibility patch.

Kread-EX
You can use mp3s without any script.
jebber
"OH MY" never noticed. Thanks for the info. can you use mp3's with yanflys then?
Kread-EX
Yes.
jebber
but not the battle background music?
Kread-EX
What do you mean "the background music"?
amaro57
I believe he's asking about how to use MP3s as battle music for Yanfly's system.
or
"So I can't use MP3s as battle music with Yanfly's system?

I don't know, his question isn't very clear.
jebber
how to use MP3s as battle music for Yanfly's system. is what i mean, sorry
Kread-EX
What have Yanfly's battle system to do with the ability to play mp3? It should work the same.
jebber
Even if i change the battle music. It plays the default yanfly battle music. so it must be in the script right?
Kread-EX
You wouldn't happen to be using YEM Party Influenced Music would you?
