First of all, how are you using them exactly? You have to make sure that you're importing them into the correct folder and in the correct layout. 288x256 is the size for an overworld charset, which does not seem to be the case here. In fact, they are done in a style very similar to the rtp battlers (but with less colors). For battlers (which can only be used while in battle), there's 8 rows of 3 48x48 that you can use, one row for a single animation. If you're doing battle animations instead (which are much more versatile but require assembly in the database), you will have a space of 96x96 for each section with 5 in each of the 5 rows, allowing for 25 different sprites available in one animation to manipulate.
Consult these examples for help on how to arrange your sprites.

Yeah, I found out that they are battlers. BUT! I have a goku sprite sheet. It goes from Normal to SSJ3. SO! I have been trying to make a FULL sprite sheet from Normal to SSJ3. I'm not sure, but instead of making a sheet from Normal to SSJ3, should I do one for each form? Also, what is the pixel size limit or whatever (heightxlength) for a battle charset? Like I said, Sprite Libray(Advent Online) White Gi Goku. I appreciate your help, Jiggly( i mean jello).
P.S. (I think you can tell , but i'm (KIND OF) new to spriting. Also, could you tell me when your game is done? I'd like to try it.

If you want, I can arrange them in the correct format for you (though I might not do all of them due to the sheer amount). And my game has a pretty long demo that should definitely have a working download link.

Thanks a lot! Please do put them in the right format, as I really want to get past the sprites so I can actually start the game. Oh, can the facesets on the sprite sheets be the same size and color? Thanks. I think after this, I may actually be able to make the first boss battle. Thanks again!
Oh, I saw the download llink for your game. I'm going to download it tommorow. Seems good. Good luck with your RPG !
