I'm working on a new game and have been working on a title screen for it. I'm trying to get some feedback on it so that I can hopefully improve it. This is not the complete titlescreen obviously since it is lacking any text on it at the moment, this is more the background. Please let me know what you think of it, any constructive feedback is greatly appreciated.

This is a cloaked figure standing in front of the gateway between the demon world and the human world. The general plot of the game revolves around a 'hero' that has vowed to destroy the demon king AKA "Dark Lord" but gets sidetracked when his friend is abducted and taken to the demon world. The game flips back and forth between both the demon and human worlds, so the gateways and portals are important.

I really liked title screens for one thing : they give a hindsight of what to expect in a game. I prefer 'mysterious' title screens, so here is what I can suggest. Why don't you try to use a Silhouette of the Cloaked figure but leave the glowing eyes intact. It will give somekind of 'Danger or Mystery'' since from what I understood, you're game is about Demons or something like that...

It surey is an impact Title Screen.
I actually agree with SleepingSirenx, but I feel you should only enshroud the cloaked figure's face with a veil od shadows with shining red eyes on. Just darken it a little...
Where did you plan to insert the title string? I feel one of the corner would be the best choice...

Thanks for the feedback. The more I look at it the more it does look the the face needs more shading to look more "mysterious" and shadowy. I'll need to do a little work on it to get it looking right, but I think that it'll look better afterwords.

I'm not sure where the title is going to go yet, but I have it pretty much done as far as design goes.
