I planned on changing the Graphics of my character for my first game since I'm using certified RTP face styles.
Is it okay if I changed it from here to there?

Changes

Thank You.

New versions are the larger one, right?
If not, read this post as they were:)

The changes you made are actually radical and overwhelming...
Nothing remained from the standard RTP!
Well, what to say?
They are obviously more original than ever and this could be a good point for you, but I personally don't like this style...
Characters become "too much childish" in my opinion...
I don't actually now what their age has to be, but I feel them... strange.
I can't explain myself better, but I prefer the old faceset (i.e. smaller images)

I see. Old facesets you see are XP's RTP facesets. I noticed the 'Childish' part too. Well, thank you for the comments. smile.gif

They are so beautiful happy.gif it really shows that you put alot of time and love into them, I wish I was that good at making them, They do have a youthful look about them but that only adds to there beauty I think, nothing wrong with young char it just might lower your story options a bit. Iv'e never seen your work posted here before but after seeing this I hope to see more.
supercow
not a problem, just remember for it to be consistent , meaning dont use 2 different faceset style it could confuse player
, the colour of hair / clothes of the sprite might be better if match the faceset happy.gif
SleepingSirenx
@lato22 : That was a relief! Thank you for your wonderful words.

@supercow : Thanks! I'm trying to match the spriteset's clothes into what I've created, but still, little improvement so far ( i guess my basic knowledge of photoshop let me slid of this one, haha ), so if the adjustments would make it, I'll be remaking the characters again. smile.gif

@SleepingSirenx

I didn't want to be rude, maybe I expressed my ideas in a horrible English...
I really appreciated your work and the amount of time you spent in creating these awesome graphics, but in my personal opinion they seem too young (and this is what I actually wanted to say) in relation with their current age. "Childish" was not the appropriate attribute, sorry, I made a terrible mistake and I apologise for this.
I'm not english and I keep on improving my language, but sometimes "false friends" betray me as you could see.
I'm very sorry for the misunderstanding, hope this can repair...

@Jens : Hey, we're cool. It's alright. smile.gif The childish term is absolutely fine with me, since I rather take a direct assault of critisms. I just wanted to share what I can show around these forums. And about your English, there's nothing wrong with it. ( You see, I was born in Japan then moved to Philippines, so my English is not that awesome. We're on the same boat. biggrin.gif )
