I'm almost certain that he wants to see evidence that you're decent at making maps so that you'd make a proper judge. =]
Also, I don't think he had plans to give out a copy of the software to judges; I'm pretty sure he meant that bit for the winner of the contest.

Pretty much what XMO said, and the winner will receive a boxed copy of ace and a digital download to rpg maker 2 and the CD that came with it.

I would like to try for this contest sounds cool
Rukiri
Cool, but we're only accepting Judge applications at this time.
Saul95
I like this contest, but I do not understand a thing. In practice there are now entries of the judges, and after you have them all, we can begin to participate?
Rukiri
Yes, once all judges have been filled then people can just sign up as they please.
Once the contest is over, a copy of RPG Maker vx ace will be published and once it arrives at my house in Japan(one of my family members will accept the delivery) than the item will be shipped off to the winner.
joey101
just the install .EXE by email right?

*NEVERMIND*
thats cool, so i can win both VXace AND rpg maker 2
but isnt that for ps2

and how will we get the CD of vxace?
amerk
I believe the RM2 is the bonus music, not the actual maker. And it's the Japanese version of RM2 (which was from the SNES), not the PS.
ShinGamix
Found it Rukiri. Wondering when the contest is gonna start? and will the maps be for VX?

and u need 6 judges? wouldnt an odd number be better for less chance of a tie vote? say three
Rukiri
We'll go with a minimum of 3 judges to start the competition, hurry the English release is only 2-3 months away!
ShinGamix
Well it might be sooner than that because the Make a scene contest ends Jan and the winner is announced Jan 8.

I believe he was trying to remind the OP that he put up an application and is waiting to be either accepted or declined.

You were not declined, but I want to see something more advanced as it looks pretty random.
ShinGamix
WTF Does NOONE want to be a judge?

Rukiri since it's your contest and you know what your looking for in a map, why don't you just judge it by yourself?
Been ten days and no one interested and it would solve just about everything.
btw only a suggestion.

Kread-EX
The thing is, people are probably more interested in the official contest managed by RPGMakerWeb with a free English copy to win.

Rukiri

I started reading this topic, and was about to sign up, when I noticed the dates these were posted.
kayden997
Alright, so basically the contest never went through.
Thanks all for your interest.
Kread-EX
Expecting a user contest to actually work is borderline naiveté.
