WAR OF THE SOULS - MUSIC
First of all: Credits go to: Aviary for their online services in creating music.
Second: If I may and f I am allowed: Please credit me for any use of this music along with Aviary for their online services in creating the music. You
MUST credit them when using this music.
The music of War of the souls is dynamic, full of emotion and cuts right off when you least expect it t. It does not loop through, that's for you to do. What I provide is the "sound track" for War of the Souls (seen in "Long demos"). This is Chapter 1's Music.Chapter 1
How to obtain this music?
Click the link to the song you wish to download the music, on your left hand side under the Facebook like button should be a download link. Some music may not be available right away as I need to "publish" it first. How ever until that's done you can listen to all the music first.Trivial fact: Exploring the World is dedicated and created for @Kaz
Battle Arabian Music Dedicated to @Kread
Update: All music is available and all music is able to be downloaded. I am not sure if me asking for credit is acceptable by forum policy since I used Online Software to create these.

I haven't played FF12, so I can't compare, but these pieces are not bad at all. Cave Cliff is probably my favorite of all the pieces. I like how it started off and reminded me of the villain theme in Lunar, but then went in its own direction.

I actually love "Farm" Its so "spooky" for something that isn't spooky. Each piece is meant to be "epic" and fast. Its mean to start off, suck you in and then drop. making you want more.
I have a couple new songs coming that are unreleased for Chapter 1.

I was inspired in its creation by you.

I have decided (
update) that I will not be releasing the unreleased songs. there too....."still in the progress of being made"...

Inspired by Kread_EX, this is what you hear when you enter a battle. This was also inspired by Epica, FFT and the story line of the game.

Wow these are really nice! They have a lot of depth and I can picture the scenes that go along with these tracks. Great job

With the program you used, I commend you on the quality of your music!
Many of your tracks are good, but a lot of them I would need to hear in context, because a lot of them don't seem to fit.
Everything is so ... epic. Not that there is anything wrong with that, but, for example, the farm theme sounds nothing like a farm to me.
Maybe more like a country's capital.
Or the house for example. You have SO much going on in that piece; again, it sounds like something that would be played in a place of royalty.
I'm thinking more like a palace in a desert. To be honest, it sounds more like a theme for a character or king, as he was walking out of his castle and was being heralded by trumpeters.
Out of all of them, I would have to say I like Journey and Bandits on the Farm. The eerie, almost anxious feeling I get from the Bandit piece fits its context perfectly. And Journey feels like a prologue, as if you are gearing yourself to begin a trek to unknown lands.
Anyway, not bad! I would suggest working on a bit more contrast in your music, if anything, including song length. Many of them last about 40 seconds, or nearly a minute, if that. Depending on how long the player will be in a particular place, those pieces can become quite repetitive.

Very nice
You made these sounds splendidly
btw, what instrument did you use to make the sound effect titled "battle" ?
Just wondering coz I'm trying to learn how to make my own BGM for my RPG through that site as well

the maps, if your familiar with war of the souls, are small and thus you wont be one them for very long. but length is something I am working on

I has new Music:Castle Opening Scene - replaces opening theme musicShadow MagesTown Music - replaces current town music themeHouse - replaces current house themeThe Church - used for the chapelSalacious Hatred - Bonus, not used.I am planning to phase out some of the current music for chapter one and introduce new music. Some of this music may be used in chapter two.
One piece I have not found use for right now is Salacious Hatred
This should help in the toning down of the "epic feeling" that some have described.

Oi! MUCH better music contrast!
Especially with the town and church themes; I could definitely see them being used for the purpose that their titles imply!
