Okay, so, i've asked this before, but no one gave me a real answer, and i actually got more questions then people helping me. Okay. So i'm going to explain myself very well here. You know how in the beginning of every Final Fantasy game, before the main menu, theres a opening animation/credits. I was wondering how to make something like that in RPG Maker 2003.

Before the main menu, no. It's because you would need to script that and 2003 don't support scripts. However you could make it after the player press new game. That just take some eventing.

If you however patch the rpgmaker with the baep (better auto enter patch), then you could skip the main menu all together, set up your animation and then create your own main menu. Just make sure you make the starting animation skippable, cuz no one wants to see the same animation every single time they open the game.

Check it out first though, because I'm not sure that third party patches are legal.
