Hello guys, I started working on a script, which turned out that it was really short and I made a few of them. Then I decided to make more of them and then to make a little project which includes all of my snippets. When you want to use some of the scripts which are included in my Snippet Pack, read the 'How to use' in the snippet you want. If you get an error, reply or PM me. Maybe it'll help if you look in the FaQ too.
===============================
Includes:
~~~~V Battle Addons V~~~~
HungrySnake's Combat Skills In-Battle (REWRITTEN)
This script replaces the help_window with a Combat Skills window. The Window shows the: - Attack - Defence - Spirit - Agility - Hit Rate - Evasion Rate If the player only uses 4 parameters, the user will see the Actor's face and name too (optional).
HungrySnake's Enemy Bars
This snippet allows the user to create an enemy bar based on the currently selected enemy in the target selection window.
HungrySnake's Battle Sounds This snippet enables the user to change the BGM and the Victory music of the battle whenever he wants in an event. (used in the last four battles).
HungrySnake's Battle Counter (REWRITTEN)
This snippet shows the user's amount of Won and losen matches of the party. You win when you defeat the troop and you lose when ALL of your party members are dead. So when a party member dies, but when the other party members win, it will count as the dead member has won.
~~~~V Menu Addons V~~~~
HungrySnake's Direct Menu
This snippet allows the user to use 'Direct actions'. Like: When the user selects "End Game", the game end directly or goes directly to the menu without giving the user options and when the user has only ONE player in its party, i.e. the user clicks "Status", he doesn't needs to go trough the Actor Selection but directly goes to the Status screen. All the Menu compatibilties with my other snippets are stored in here too.
HungrySnake's Menu Status This snippet is used to create the EXP bars and the actors' graphic in the Menu and redefines a Y coordinate.
HungrySnake's Music Player
This snippet adds a Music Player to the menu which enables the user to play music while in the game.
HungrySnake's Ocarina
This snippet allows the player to play on the Ocarina In-Game when the user receives/buys an Ocarina.
HungrySnake's Confirm Save This snippet adds an 'Confirm' option when to player wants to save a game.
HungrySnake's Menu Index 0 After Save (For Scripters)
When you've saved your game, and you're testing the script out and you just keep pressing on "ENTER", then you accidently open the "Continue" Tab. This snippet sets the index to 0 even if you have a save file. So you can keep pressing "ENTER".
~~~~V Map Addons V~~~~
HungrySnake's Vehicle Back To Place (REWRITTEN) This snippet sends the vehicle (boat/ship/ airship) back to a specified X and Y coordinate.
HungrySnake's Move Speed
This script allows the user to add, decrease and set the dash speed and the walk speed to a certain value. You can add/decrease the move speed and dash speed from an event too!
HungrySnake's Move Lock
This snippet simply doesn't let's the player walk with the arrow keys when a certain switch is turned ON.
HungrySnake's Variable controlled Quest Log
This snippet allows the user to call the Quest Log at any moment in the game by pressing the "A" key on your keyboard.
HungrySnake's Simple HUD
This snippet allows the user to call a simple HUD by Switching a specific Switch ON In-Game.
~~~~V Stat Addons V~~~~
HungrySnake's Exp Bars
This snippet allows the user to create EXP bars in the MenuStatus screen and the Status screen (both are optional).
HungrySnake's Stat Addon
This snippet adds some new Stats to the Status screen. Both stats (RSPCT & SPEEED) can be customized from any event (see the snippet on how to use)
Features: - Actor Respect - Actor Evasion - Actor Speed
HungrySnake's Stat Control
This snippet allows the user to control the stats of all the actors stored in the database. The numbers in the module stand for the ID of the actors in the database.
HungrySnake's Variable Gauge This snippet allows the user to create a Variable Gauge which displays the amount of a certain Variable In-Game.
HungrySnake's Limit Break This snippet allows the user to go over the limit of the default stats ect. in RMVX.
Q: I tried to import the Ocarina script, but it didn't show up in the menu.
A: The Ocarina script in the Demo is merged with the Direct Menu script. If you have any script experience, you can merge it yourself, other way you can ask me or another scripter to merge it (PM me or catch me at mIRC) And after you've merged the Ocarina script, make sure you have the graphics (included in the demo).
Q: None of the Menu add-ons work when I add those to my project.
A: They're all merged with the Direct Menu. You can ask me or another scripter to merge it (PM me or catch me at mIRC) or merge it yourself.
