Full Version: Tankentai IAB + Victory Aftermath assistance/Material Editor Extention?

I have a demo game I'm currently working on, and I have two specific things I want to touch base on for help.

1. Okay, I've been stumped from this for a while, so i need to ask the community's advanced scripters for help. My demo game is using Tankentai's Sideview Battle System(v3.3). I am also using Yanfly's Victory Aftermath script. Both scripts work together fine. I've been trying to find a way to edit it however. When I go into battle and win, Yanfly's Victory Aftermath script kicks in, which is normal, but it entirely skips the victory pose for the battlers. I want to fix that. Particularly in this type of sequence:

Battle>Victory>Victory Pose+Victory Text>Victory Aftermath

My experience with going through Tankentai's SBS script is very minimal. Plus Yanfly's script overwrites "VictoryProcessing", so I couldn't go back to that. I also tried testing "VA_WAIT" function that delays the script, but that didn't give me my desired results either. Is there any way to get this to work in sequence? Its pretty much the only thing right now that I want to fix on this script currently.

2. This one should be real simple enough, is there any type of script that can extend the editor's capabilities? Like adding more materials such as map tiles or even system animations like balloons? I don't like how limited RPG Maker VX is with these functions compared to XP, which was far more versatile than this version. I checked the Master Script List, but it didn't have what I wanted. Any help with this would be very appreciated.

Thank you for reading.

Well, both the Tankentai Victory Pose and YERD/ YEZ VictoryAftermath overwrite the default aftermath processing. The lowest script in the script list is going to take effect in that regard. I would suggest combining the two into one script, although I don't have much prowess in scripting, as evidenced by my unsolved scripting problems.

A method that I've found that works is to make a third script to direct how that aftermath works. I've seen this method used to link the YEZ Victory Aftermath and Reedo's Victory Splash scripts.

As to "extending the editor's capabilities", Do you just mean things like adding Autotiles, ballons, actor sprites, etc? You can just do that through the Resource Manager.
