So I decided to sample these, and I have to say they aren't bad at all. You might want to consider adding one dl for all tracks, because it gets tiring having to dl them one at a time, and also include an option to sample them prior to downloading.

Also, excellent job with the RPG 2003 track. That does sound much better. Which now drives me to my next thought. How about revamping all of the RPG Maker VX tracks? Out of all the makers available, it seems people cringe most about RMVX music.

I second that motion. The use of multiple MIDI channels in excruciating ways may try your patience, but it will be well worth it.

All of the music inexplicably makes my ears ring, though. I don't know why - maybe it has something to do with the mixing?

EDIT: I am going thru these songs right now.. Some of these are HORRIBLE! I am not going to enjoy this.. though i have made some sound MUCH more palatable.
EDIT AGIAN: OMG MY HEAD, Ill be frank.. not all of these i can rescue.. its like a child smashed a keyboard with thier face and it got put in VX D: There is way too much inconsistency.

Good way of putting it. The one thing they could have easily got right, they messed up. And if ever a RM ever promoted using music outside of the RTP, this one is it.

Sadly, a few tracks start off good, before getting bad, and I agree with inconsistency, almost as if they had more than one person designing some of the tracks, but never at the same time.

The only comfort i have in this task is that ppl would prefer this over the original
