Fateliante
Hi everyone, I will be showcasing most of the songs I've composed from my RPG. I have been composing for a solid number of years; I was on a temporary hiatus considering I've been on a heavy writer's block and been very busy with my life, but I'm finally getting back into it yet again and confident to say that the compositions are at a rapid growth and sound profound. Just a brief history about the music, the theme of the music is fantasy based with some elements of classical, folk, sci-fi and mystery. In terms of influences, if you listen closely, you could tell that my music is similar to, but not replicating, Final Fantasy games, and a selective few from LoZ (Legend of Zelda).

Note: Please do NOT take any of my material considering this is strictly going towards my game.

However, I have decided that I will be taking in requests from members who would like a theme for their game or what not. However, keep in mind that I will be very busy composing music for my game and may take some time for a request to be complete. So please, bear with me. happy.gif'

No. of Requests

1.
2.
3.

Five will be the maximum amount of requests I can take momentarily.

Anyways, here are the songs provided below:

In Presence of Serenity
Calming Blue
Cloaked by Nightmare's Wings (Theme of Genoviaska)
Mystical Land of Magic
Traverse Through Deserted Sands
Recollections of Destined Shores

Hi everyone, not sure if this should be categorized under resource submissions, but I will be showcasing most of the songs I've composed from my RPG.

Note: Please do NOT take any of my material considering this is strictly going towards my game.

However, I have decided that I will be taking in requests from members who would like a theme for their game or what not.

If you were to place this in the resource submissions forum, you'd basically be supplying your music for everyone to use (for the most part, that is what the resource submissions forum is for), but since you're clearly not wanting those songs to be used by others in their game(s), then you're correct in placing this in the Art/Music/Lit Network. =]

Also, it is not problematic to allow people to request music from you in this forum, since you are also displaying your own music here.
(Primarily, this is a "show-off" forum, where you show off your artworks; being in drawn art, musical art, or written art. So, as long as you continue to show off some music you're making, this is the place for your topic.) happy.gif

Fateliante
Great! Thanks for letting me know X-M-O! smile.gif

Links are working again.
mrhawi
Wow brilliant work!!

white snow: A very calm theme, i feel like i'm on a snowy place (like a forest, or a road), its a very catchy tune.

Tails in fulls bloom: At the start reminds me to FF8 balamb garden theme, fits well on a "pacific" place, like a town, or a house, or maybe a character theme, i love this theme =).

Mystical Land of Magic: I dont know why, but i think that this song its a world map theme xD, or an important place theme (i imagine world map), its very catchy, good work.

Manacles of Broken Destinies: Again, this sound like a FF song (thats is great =O). Fits very well on a dungeon, at 1:18 its awesome =O, sounds like something bad will happen in any momment.

Eternal Sunshine: This theme reminds me chronno trigger's lenne square ost. Its a very happy tune, i like it.

PS: Sorry about my bad english (xD).
Fateliante
Thank you mrhawi! happy.gif Most of the feelings you get from listening to the music is nearly accurate to mine. You're right about most themes, Tails in Full Bloom is originally supposed to be a theme of sisters (my game has three characters who are related and I'm basing the theme off of the three sisters).
Mystical Land of Magic is a magical village theme actually, but I haven't thought of it to be a world map theme, quite interesting actually.
As for Manacles of Broken Destinies, you got it! It is a dungeon theme and one of the final dungeon themes too. It reminds me of FF also. Most FF games are inspirational to the music I write after all.
I hope Eternal Sunshine doesn't remind you too much of Chrono Trigger. I did base it off of Lenne Square and from another song which I can't remember where I heard it from. lol

I'm working on another composition which has a dark and mysterious sound to it. wink.gif
Shadyone
Wow your compositions are excellent, the best one out of all of them in my opinion is White Snow, it sounds so nice and calming then it starts to get more adventurous (not sure if I can explain that properly o_O).
Also the beginning of White Snow reminds me of a song from the anime CLANNAD called Snowfield
Fateliante
Thanks a lot Shadyone, much appreciated! happy.gif Yeah, I enjoyed composing White Snow and I have to admit, the composition does sound slightly similar to Saya Hyouseki's Freedom House 2nd MIDI:Town16
I'm thinking of changing the structure of the song slightly, but not a huge difference.
I heard the theme Snowfield from CLANNAD, very well done. Gives me inspiration to do yet another song. Thanks for showing me Shadyone. smile.gif
Fateliante
Hey all, sorry it's taken me ridiculously long to post more of my music. I've been hectic busy and re-arranging most of my song materials to give it more personality to it. I've added different soundfonts with limited techno/trance twist to it, in which I thought would add good chemistry to my game; here are some of the songs just to give you an idea of what I'm going for:

In Presence of Serenity
Calming Blue
Cloaked by Nightmare's Wings (Theme of Genoviaska)
Mystical Land of Magic
Traverse Through Deserted Sands
Recollections of Destined Shores *NEW*

So this is the musical style I will be sticking with for my game, any critique is welcomed.
Hope you like what you hear! happy.gif
Shadyone
Nice! My favourite out of all of them is Calming Blue, mainly because I needed some calming myself XD
Oh and best of luck in the music competition ;D
mrhawi
In Presence of Serenity: This theme reminds me some clasic rpg games like chronno trigger, secret of mana, and has some of donkey kong (i know that this is not a rpg), i like it, i feel like im on a crystal palace or on a snowy town.

Calming Blue: Wow, this theme fits great on a dream scene, or a flashback. I dont know but it reminds me to donkey kong country mixed with secret of mana (like the previous song), when i listen it i feel very relaxed.

Cloaked by Nightmare's Wings (Theme of Genoviaska): Another great theme, with that church organ (?) sounds like a castlevania theme, i imagine a castle or some place like a gothic city or something like that. I dont know why but the song "the castle" from FF8 started to sound on my mind. This is another masterpiece dude, i love it!.

Mystical Land of Magic: I think that you really like the ost from chronno trigger, because this theme reminds me that game. I liked it, i imagine an island or a secret place with special people (old wizard or something), title fits perfectly with the song =).

Traverse Through Deserted Sands: This tune reminds me some FF (and has a bit of separation anxyeti from snes), i can feel some of megaman ost (i dont know why) mixed with castlevania, the style of the song makes me thing about a piramid or a desert, that means: The title fits perfectly =), i loved that "techno" (?) sound =).

Recollections of Destined Shores: Loved the reed (i dont know if that is the name of the insturment), i imagined me on hawaii xD. It reminds me some adventure island (from snes), i like how the strings sounds behind the principal melody, this is my fav of all, and like the other themes has some of secret of mana, around 1:30 i feel nostalgic... man you are a master, this is a masterpiece =)-

All i can say, you are my new idol, i really loved all of your themes, has that clasic feeling of old school RPG =).

PS: Sorry about my bad english (im not good speaking it), but i hope that you can understand what im trying to say in each comment.
Fateliante
@Shadyone: Thanks a lot, I also like Calming Blue. It really is calming. tongue.gif Best of luck to you, too, with the music competition as well. smile.gif

@mrhawi: Wow...thanks, I'm speechless! lol I didn't think my music would be THAT good considering you're quite talented. Hehe, is it really that obvious that I like Chrono Trigger OST? tongue.gif It's good to know that you find a lot of my music match with their titles, considering it was a little difficult at times to find the right tune to match with the title. Very interesting how you mention some songs remind you of Secret of Mana since Hiroki Kikuta is another one of my favourite composers.
NinthPulse
Very nice work. happy.gif
Spirit_Master_X
1.) In Presence of Serenity - I really like how you used the Marcato strings and the harp. The piano chords are awesome. However I must say that the bird SFX were used a little too often between 2:13 and 2:28. I'm not sure if this was a christmas oriented piece...but the maracas sorta shifts it into a christmas tune. I'm also hearing the same constant melody, which I think should be divided into structures. Such as intro, verse, chorus, verse, chorus, bridge, chorus, and then outro. Each section can have different instruments playing since orchestral structures and actual song structures are different. Besides that, I like it.

2.) Calming Blue - Sounds amazing. The absence of the strings, piano, and the tinker bell were used correctly. Absence is not a bad thing when making orchestral music because it can make the piece span. Picture watching the Lord of the Rings and hearing the background orchestra span out over the course of a long scene. Putting instruments on pause, then introducing them later is a very key factor in creating orchestral type stuff. The tinker bell that comes in at 1:20 I believe, is awesome! I'm assuming what you're using is Sytrus for the SFX?

3.) Cloaked by Nightmare Wings - I can tell you straight off the bat, the intro sounded a little too overwhelmed by the church organ and what I'm assuming are piano chords playing at the same time? I'm not sure about the piano, but between the start and 0:08, it sounded a bit crowded. I would either reduce some of the notes that are played in each chord, or if the piano is playing alongside, scratch that out completely and have it come in after the organ. The melody you have going for the piano is really cool, with a follow up with the harp at the end of each clip. The outro is once again thriving off of the organ which sounds a little too overwhelmed, only portions of the melody though.

4.) Mystical Land of Magic - In this one, I would probably give the main pad a little more room to breathe. Here it seems a little too crammed together which sounds like its forcing it to go beyond the BPM of other instruments playing. But its really good though, I enjoyed it.

5.) Traverse Through Deserted Sands - In this one I think it's fine, except in the portions where the clarinet plays along with the main lead. The main lead sounds a little like something out of the matrix, while the clarinet is a woodland instrument...so the pair doesn't quite match. Besides that it was great,

6.) Recollections of Destined Shore - I really enjoyed this one! It reminds me of Destiny Island in Kingdom Hearts tongue.gif
Fateliante
@NinthPulse: Thank you. smile.gif

@Spirit_Master_X: Thanks for the feedback Spirit Master X. I'll definitely take to considering the key points you've mentioned to polish up my compositions. wink.gif I seem to somewhat lose track of my compositions and have the tendency to write leads rather than the melody first. -_-'
Fateliante
Hey all, came up with another song. This will not be going with the video game music pile solely because this song is a little unorthodox, but it is strictly more for listening to the VST rather than the composition itself. I will, however, take snippets from the song and use it in a totally different composition.

Anyways, have a listen at it:

Whatever Lies Inside the Heart

happy.gif
Fateliante
Here's another song I've just finished yesterday. This is actually an older song which I re-arranged and added a couple of new scores. Check it out:

Stars Unveil the Vibrant Valleys
khachuchrian
very cool sounding
Fateliante
Thank you, Khachuchrian. smile.gif It is pretty cool sounding, it's almost borderline soothing, in my honest opinion. tongue.gif
Suke.
Hello Fateliante here my impresions smile.gif:

In presence of serenity: Love the time notes and the intruments sounds very for a rpg.. you insert too effects nature .. very original compose too. i liked it.

Calming Blue: Something similar in your line .. peace and calm .. for some dimension with no problems and very original too ..nice idea that you insert strings after ... very personal.

Cloaked by nightmare wings: Here the calm is out, some church organ that make the ambient misterious and dangerous .. i think is my fav piece.

Mystical Land of Magic: A good piece maybe for a forest i can imagine it ... some magic world land with nothing normal .. everything with fantasy you embed good this feel in this song.

Traverse Through Deserted Sands: Wow nice change hehe smile.gif .. Seemed a boss theme maybe some battle yes ... one of ur best pieces i think too .. no my fav personal but yes nice piece in general .. one mix beetwen the eletronic ambient and instrumental.

Recollections of Destined Shores: Some shop or village theme? !! hehe sure the people is around of this song are happys .. maybe for a beach inside of one game .. yes .. i like your changes in styles.

Stars Unveil the Vibrant Valleys: I said Cloaked by nightmare wings was my favorites? mm not sure maybe is this smile.gif ... yes .. well nice signal that i doubt about it .. one nice music piece this one .. give me good feel .. and i like it.

Hope hear more of your songs.
See ya.

Essenceblade
Well I have to say, your music is impressive! I like all the music here. All of them carry some sort of "essence" with them. Most of the music sounds like Golden Sun music (GBA), and I loved that game and its music.

Keep up the good work. I'm no composer myself so I can't hope to possibly get any where near good as this, but, by chance, what program are you using to create your music? It sounds like FL Studio, but I can't be so sure.

Nonetheless, you should really consider your music works of art. They are amazing.
mrhawi
Whatever Lies Inside the Heart: Sounds like theme from pokemon red (gbc xD), but when strings starts to sound, reminds me a clasic rpg game (maybe lufia and the fortress of doom or Final Fantasy 4), around 0:58 reminds me to bowser castle theme (that from the clasic mario bross), i like the theme, what vst did u use?

Stars Unveil the Vibrant Valleys: I like this theme, reminds me to lenne square from chronno trigger, but sounds more like zelda ocarina of time (hyrule town??, i dont remember the name of the place), its a very dinamic theme, i love it, fits perfect on a festival town or something like that, at 1:28 its a bit nostalgic, i love that part =).

Great compositions again, congratz dude, see yaa! =)
Fateliante
@Suke.: Thank you very much for your comments, glad to hear that my music sounds original and seems to fit well with the title. I know Stars Unveil the Vibrant Valleys is a nice composition, too, and is one of my favs as well. happy.gif

@Essenceblade: Oh wow, thank you for the comment, very glad you like the music! happy.gif I didn't think my music would be that amazing, I'm flattered. tongue.gif Sounds like Golden Sun? I absolutely love the series, I didn't think my music would rank up to that caliber, thanks. It's cool, yet funny though, I've had a lot of people who hear my music differently and see what I'm inspired by. Yes, I do use FL Studio as my DAW, I'm hoping my music doesn't state the obvious in terms of what program I'm using to compose.

@mrhawi: Thanks, mrhawi! It's always a pleasure to see you on here listening to my music. Actually, the song Stars Unveil the Vibrant Valleys is taken from my older composition, Eternal Sunshine. I just rearranged the composition a little differently and also added a few staves. wink.gif As for Whatever Lies Inside the Heart, the VST I used was EWQLSO VSTi. It's awesome, I'm having a lot of fun with it. smile.gif
Fateliante
This is a really interesting composition in which I think in my opinion is the best I've done thus far due to the variety of instruments, verses, and originality. I'm using this as an antagonist theme, pre-final boss theme in my game.

Ascendancy of a Fateful Malediction
Fateliante
Here's another original from yours truly. wink.gif It's an older piece but I've changed it completely and now sounds pretty good, in my opinion, check it out:

Memories of a New Legend ~ As the Story Unfolds ~
MEands
I gotta say that I really loved the desert song.
khachuchrian
really good stuff fate i enjoyed the latest one
mrhawi
Ascendancy of a Fateful Malediction: Wow this theme is awesome!!!!, it reminds me sephiroth theme, and i fits perfectly on villiain like kefka or sephiroth. Its a very tense theme, the start is awesome, my favorite part is around 2:40, i like that voice oath? (i dont know what instrument is, but sounds great), i'm waiting your game =D. The variety of the compositions and i loved the arrangement =).

Memories of a New Legend ~ As the Story Unfolds ~: This sound like a character theme, or an intro theme (but fits on a scene that is relevant in the game). Reminds me to chronno trigger and has some of Secret of Mana too. My fav part of the song is around 1:35, that part is nice! =D.

Brilliant work, keep rocking dude =).

PS: Sorry about my bad english
Stern
Hey! So far, I've only heard your two latest pieces!

Memories of a New Legend is pretty cool. It sounds a bit oriental. I like the complexity in the composition. It's very well made.

Ascendancy of a Fateful Malediction: Is VERY powerful. It's badass enough to fit for satan himself! Haha. This will certainly fit if your villain is the source of all evil... in the entire world! I like the piece a lot, because of how good of a composition it is and partly because I'm a nutter for dark/creepy/eerie music.

Keep it up!
Fateliante
Wow, thanks so much for the comments everyone, it's much appreciated!

@MEands: lol, yeah, Traverse Through Deserted Sands is a pretty kick-arse song, it's actually meant to be used as a dungeon theme. wink.gif

@khachuchrian: Thank you as always, I've been taking a great interest in your music much more lately, It's always a pleasure listening to your submissions. By the way, really great job covering JJ Heller's song What Love Really Means. happy.gif The VST I've used for Ascendancy of a Fateful Malediction was EWQLSO - Strings DXS Super Orchestra for the string section, which sounds really great with a mixture of tremolo and staccato strings. wink.gif For piano, I've used FL Studio 10 Piano making slight adjustments to the EQ and FX. I think it does the job considerably well.

@mrhawi: Thank you very much, it's always nice seeing you on here and commenting. smile.gif Memories of a New Legend is actually meant to be the main theme of the entire video game, similar concept to the Final Fantasy main theme you hear on almost every game. Ascendancy of a Fateful Malediction is arguably the best piece I've written thus far, I've put a lot of work into it. Between us musicians, it literally took me 2 months to finish it. :\ It was actually an unfinished piece for awhile which I didn't end up liking, I heavily re-arranged a lot of parts, made it even more darker/eerie seeing how I wanted this to be an antagonist theme, pre-final boss type of theme, and added a couple of new staves to bring versatility to the composition such as, tremolo, staccato strings that would properly fit on different sectioned verses. To be honest, the song would have turned out completely differently if I had kept it the way it was.

@Stern: Thank you very much. smile.gif To have you comment on my work, is a real pleasure, Stern. I've never had the chance to congratulate you on your submission for the RRR Music Competition 3, so congratulations! happy.gif It's interesting how you find Memories to have that oriental feel to it because, yes, I did intentionally meant for it to be a tad oriental; it's kind of my way to pay homage to the composers from big video game companies like Square-Enix who I'm inspired by. wink.gif
And it's pretty awesome how you think that Ascendancy would be a suitable theme for Satan himself, hahaha! Am I really making it that obvious just how much I love and worship the devil? lol jk tongue.gif You are right though, the theme is meant to be for the almighty antagonist, pre-final boss battle theme...who summons Satan to do his dirty work. XD
I've been listening to your submissions lately and sound great, "I'm sad, so I will whistle for a bit" is a really interesting despair theme that in my opinion is arranged and composed real nicely. I also liked the latest composition you wrote, Grace Theme, sounds pretty cute, almost as if it's meant for a kid's theme. smile.gif
EDIT: I failed to mention that I had redone Calming Blue, give it a listen and let me know what you think. smile.gif
MrGuy0250
I listened to some of your stuff a few days ago but haven'y had time to comment. I still don't have much time now, so I just chose a song at random to critique. That song was Ascendancy of a Fateful Malediction. And my god, it was cool. So delightfully menacing the whole way through, I can definitely see that setting an amazing mood as a pre-boss theme, making any plot twists or malevolent plans hit the player that much harder. You'd just need to make sure the Final Boss theme is even MORE bad ass, which would be quite a task hehe my one complaint is that at the end, the moving notes going on between the flute and piano kind of break the even flowing evil the rest of the song had. I know it's not like the whole song was just quater notes up until that point, but the two instruments doing it simultaneously made me feel that way... I hope I put that in an understandable manner lol
Fateliante
@MrGuy0250: Thanks a lot, I appreciate your feedback, I do understand what you mean. smile.gif After continuously and thoroughly listening to the ending verse of Ascendancy of a Fateful Malediction, I can agree with you, it does somewhat break the evil flow, I didn't want to make the piano and flute both quarter notes, I just might make a small edit to that section.

Finished up another song just moments ago, I suppose it's still in its 'growing phase' in terms of what needs to be improved, so critique and suggestions are welcomed. smile.gif

Heedfully Treading the Uncleansed Ground
X-M-O
It sounds really good, but I might argue that having some more percussion in there would be great.
Perhaps a bass drum with some rolling thunder (silently in the background in certain parts)?
I can just hear those sounds in my head, but not in the song, lol. ^^
Fateliante
Hey X-M-O, thanks for the feedback, I appreciate your thoughts on the latest submission. I have to admit, after listening to the song numerous times, it doesn't quite do it for me entirely, some sections are really good and wouldn't want to change it, but I can do much better on other sections of the song as well, so I'll be doing a couple of more changes before I finalize it. It has percussion in there, ethnic percussions to be exact, but I agree, it does lack a little "beefy-ness" to it. I am taking your suggestion to consideration and might be using timpani or percussion; I'm panning it out in my head to see which section(s) it would work out the most.
X-M-O
Yeah, it's sometimes difficult to just pick up a suggestion and run with it without hearing what I hear in my head, lol.
I commend you for trying to though, and hope to hear the revised version soon. ^^
Fateliante
Thank you, X-M-O. smile.gif I'll definitely post the revised version for you to listen to when I have the chance to work at it. At the moment, I have just finished and finalized another piece, an older piece mind you, but I really like this one and it looks to be the finalized version. Give it a listen whenever you have the chance, and let me know what you think. happy.gif

Mystical Land of Magic
X-M-O
Right off the vocals remind me of Metroid Prime, and that's a good thing in my opinion. ^^

The melody is serene though perhaps a little happy, which is fine, but it is particularly a good combination. A job well done, I'd say. happy.gif
Fateliante
Wicked!! I never would have thought it'd remind you of Metroid, it's cool because I'm a die-hard fan of Metroid. Ever since I played and beat Metroid for NES, I've been hooked ever since. I was usually anxiously waiting for new titles to be released. tongue.gif

Thank you for the comment though, I was kinda going more for that mystic/serene feeling, the only song that comes to mind I can take reference to would be Eruyt Village from Final Fantasy XII. I'm using my composition as background music for a magical village in my game. smile.gif
Shadyone
* o *
I love Mystical Land of Magic, sounds so beautiful and there are a couple of parts that remind me of this Korean song that my sister is constantly playing kinda, I don't know the name of it however.
mrhawi
Heedfully Treading the Uncleansed Ground: Wow! this is a a very interesting theme, when the harp (or piano?) starts at 0:30 its awesome, I like that part, those arpeggios are intresting, but I'm impresed with the harmony of the theme. If I start to think in some games, this will remind me FF9 mixed with FF7 and some of your own style, the theme is catchy. I thing, this is one of your best songs. I don't know much about the music theory, but this theme was perfect for me =).

Mystical Land of Magic: This is an old theme?, I'm sure that I listened it before. By the way, I like the theme, the song reminds me to secret of mana plus Chronno Trigger, and has some of FF too. If i close my eyes I can imagine a mystical place with magicians and a place "with a lot of story", like an ancient place. Well, like always, I love your themes, actually I think you are one of my favorites amateur composers on the net (I guess you are amateur, aren't you?).

Congrats and I'm waiting for your next songs =).

Fateliante
@Shadyone: Thank you. Yeah, I really like that song as well, it's nice to listen to. smile.gif

@mrhawi: Thanks a lot. I always appreciate your comments. I'm glad you liked Heedfully Treading the Uncleansed Ground, I'm thinking of changing it up slightly though since I can hear that it needs some slight improvement. And yes, Mystical Land of Magic is an older piece and is now a finalized version. I like the end results, so I'm leaving it as it is. happy.gif

Going to take a break in writing music for awhile since I'm getting a little upset at the fact that my DAW keeps freezing up on me and I'm losing all the material I've written for what was going to be a new song I would have loved to have posted here. No worries, it won't be a long break, only about a week, if that. smile.gif
Fateliante
I'm back and with another song I just finished! It's not the same composition that has been giving me constant problems, it's different, WAY different. The style this song offers is completely different than what I normally go for. Have a listen and let me know what you think. happy.gif

Apparation of Abysmal Lament
mrhawi
Sounds a bit distorted ohmy.gif. I liked the vst that you used, the lead sounds awesome. The distortion that I mentioned ends at 1:25, I guess that you did that on purpose. The theme gives me a feeling of evil, and I can put it on a scene or an event in the game that occurs something relevant on the story. I liked the tittle of the song =). Good job dude!, keep rockin' biggrin.gif

PS: Sorry about my bad english (I do not want to misunderstand me (: )
Fateliante
Thank you, mrhawi. happy.gif You're absolutely right, it does sound distorted, there weren't so many VSTs used in this song, just a lot of creepy effects, and I wanted it to sound this way because this composition is going directly in a scene in my game where my characters travel in a bleak, distorted, digital dimension-like future, or rather, the past...
I'm glad that you get the same feeling I get out of this song, I purposely meant it to turn out that way. smile.gif

Don't worry about your english, mrhawi, it's great, I can understand what you mean perfectly. happy.gif
X-M-O
Apparition of Abysmal Lament is fairly creepy, but attractively so.
I think that if you have this in the right setting (modern), you could even add some sound effects in there (like the ones that appear at around 1:30 that have an airy-glitch sound) like the sound of a television going on and off (you know that weird flashing sound they make when you don't have it on an existing channel).
I love the percussion that comes in and exits again, and then the ending is really cool because it sounds like the ending of a television series theme song (abrupt but obviously ending the song). ^^

Well named, by the way. =D
Fateliante
Hey X-M-O, I really appreciate your comment, thank you very much! Yes, I was trying to get that modern television off-channel sound incorporated into this piece but the signal sounds rather weak. I've used waveforms (preferably sine and square) to try to imitate that sound but turned out differently that seemed to have worked in the song.
Haha, that's pretty interesting how you were able to distinguish the last verse of the song as an ending theme for a television show, since I purposely was trying to get to that angle as this was intended to be a final dungeon-like theme. smile.gif

Thank you, I wanted to think of a title that described the song: the feeling of emptiness, despairity and even slight agitation; the last verse of the song does justice since it has that agitated feeling of abruption (as you've mentioned), at least I think so. smile.gif
X-M-O
Yes, whilst I'm terrible at describing things I hear, I have always been told that I have an ear for music (not much musical talent when it comes to playing instruments though) and that I can identify very specific patterns, sounds, and errors in music. I have a real love for music, though I'll never be able to compose any personally.

I completely agree with what you've mentioned, but of course you'd know best what you had intended each part of the song to do/mean. XD
Lato
I love your track calming blue! happy.gif so peaceful and smooth, it would put me to sleep if i ever slept lol, ill pm you.
thatbennyguy
That was X-M-O's 5000th post!!!! ohmy.gif
Stern
Heedfully Treading the Uncleansed Ground - Mysterious and a bit creepy. It reminds me slightly of Kefka's theme from FF6. It gives you that same uneasy feeling. I like it biggrin.gif

Mystical Land of Magic - A very serene piece. The choir sounds cool and gives it a very intriguing sound. Nice job on this one!

Apparition of Abysmal Lament - Instantly this piece reminded me of something by Jim Guthrie (Who is amazing!). It has a very dark and mysterious feel to it. It's pretty creepy, and I love it! tongue.gif

Keep up the good work!
