Hello and I apologize if this is in the wrong forum,
I'm very new to RPG Maker XP and I just downloaded the scripts for
the Enu Tanketai SBS, and it works great. My only issue is that I want to use my
own custom battlers instead of the characters' walking positions, and I have no idea
how to script this.
If anyone can point me to a tutorial of how to do this or the script for using custom battlers,
it would be greatly appreciated!

If your wanting to use custom battlers Atoa's CBS would be allot more friendly. It's pretty much the same thing as the tankentai SBS but is allot more custom battler friendly. It can be found here.

Sorry for a late response, but thank you for this tip!
The battle system looks perfect for what I want to do. Is it relatively user-friendly
for someone like me whose not very good at scripting yet?

I had a quick look at the script, and honestly it looks pretty hard from a glance. There is allot to it and almost everything in it is customisable. If you spent time and actually read through allot of the instructions I'm sure atoa would have tried to make it as simple as he possibly could for you to understand. There's allot of potential for a great battle system in it but then that also will require allot of work. It's up to you i guess wink.gif

In fact the ACBS is relatively easy (unless you want REALLY advanced features).
The main thing is that it have Hundreds of options. So people generally got lost on this big number of customizable values.
So it's not really hard, but it's really time consuming.
The final result will be proportinal to your effort. So, don't expect a super advanced system if you don't put much effort. But, if you put a great effort on it, you will surely have something unique.
