Full Version: Converting VX sprites to fit XP
RPG RPG Revolution Forums > Game Engines > RPG Maker XP Discussion

I was importing Resources from the Samurai Materials from VX to XP ,
I had to cut the image from the Tile set, and copy it to paint .
Then made A grid of 128 x 192 .
Then I drew lines of 32 x 48 to center the image.
After that I centered the images .
Finally I did it !
OOPS...
I forgot to make the background Transparent !
Finally Finally I got it .
So I tested the Movement of the Sprite, and it works .
Except it Glitches when moving to the side .... ?????

Maybe I should make the Images closer together ? I have not tried this yet .

My big question is .... How does the size of the Graphic Selection Box correlate to the size of the Graphics Template ?
elliott20
this really should be in a different board, as this is a technical question.
ipsissimus10
Where is this Technical issues Blog ?
elliott20
well, it really should go into the RM XP board is what I'm saying.

elliott20 if you spot anything like this in the future you can always use the report button smile.gif

Moving this into the RPG Maker XP section.

The sprites that you make must always have an equal amount of space in between them. They must all be the same size on the grid. If they aren't, your character will move very... interestingly.

The 360 doesn't have a browser. You can hook your keyboard and mouse up to the ps3. Have fun smile.gif
