So ya that new mtv series Awkward. What can i say about this stufff. Not the best i've ever seen (true blood is the shiz) but a good series nevertheless. I saw the commercials for it didn't give much thought but my wife made me sit down and watch it with her and the daughter. Turned out to be quite alright but this girl Jenna is definately a fool of sorts for falling over Matty in the way she did. My wife always says "it is her first love", i always say "it is her first big life mistake".either way i guess i kinda understand Jenna but my personal beliefs come into play with the way she is handling herself sexually and starting to go buck wild, and who do you think wrote that letter in the beginning with the 10 listed things to do. Im thinking it was her dad, Woah i know right her dad i mean sheesh c'mon why him. Thats exactly why him because i can relate in the fact that he cares logicaly about jenna (i,e the boob job episode) but at the same time even though he's the responsible of the two parents you can tell he definately got down in the day and is still a pretty chilled guy who can see thing eye to eye on a teenage level through and through. I can relate though my daughter is still very young i can imagine when she's 16 ill be overly protective and secrative about my younger years (which were and still continue to be wild) but i can see myself opening up to relate in ways too. I just think Jenna's dad fits the perfect position because he doesn't fit it.....confusing but ya! any thoughts open discussion here just be polite no harrassing or flaming anyone please.
