I'm working on a map for a game i'm working on and for some reason the passibility isnt working for only a certain few tiles. I've made tons of maps before and i've never had this problem. All the tiles in question are marked X and the directional pass lets nothing move yet the hero can walk all they please over these tiles along with events - I don't get it! The passibility works fine for all the other tiles. I've cleared it and re-tried everything! I Have no idea why the hero can walk all over it- its a wall btw

>.< XD help!?

Using the search option with the keyword "passibility" returns this as the second potentially relevant thread: link
Most likely your problem will be the same as the one given in that thread.

Thanks Kazesui, that's what I was thinking of when i saw this thread. I'm thinking that link should be pinned for both XP and 2K/3.

In any case, TheMage, that's the problem I came across when I first started to play with XP. You could set the passability up in the database, but then when mapping you could inadvertenly change something or use the wrong tileset in the upper layer which then effects the layers beneath. Mapping with layers requires a lot of attention and care for both passability as well as the details.
