I found out there is a demo of it in Japanese, my friend got it and I'm going to try it on Monday, I wonder if it will be any good?

Aaaahh 1 thing I hate about Japan.. is the hard to learn language T_T so far got 5ish mins into it and it looks fantastic, Probably one of the nicest looking graphics for a psp game. More to come as I play xD

OK this is definitely the best game graphics wise for psp in my personal opinion of course. I would of course give a better review if I could understand Japanese but since I don't just deal =P To start off, the combat is quite fun is a lot like the battle system they're using for FFv13, [ ] is a magic attack (my favourite character, Machina, has thunder on it I'm guessing), /_\ is your melee/regular attack, X is for dodge rolling or blocking when standing still and O is a special attack of some sort.

What your friend said about it being awesome, and there being lots of explosions, it is pretty cool and the explosions are indeed awesome.
Someone give me an English patch and I will do a story review =P

And for the language thing, the different alphabets is probably the most hardest obstacle to overcome (and I haven't even mentioned Kanji).

@zakerot: Ahh, but what if he isn't a fanboy and he just happened to stumble upon the game? If someone who isn't a fanboy had that reaction, imagine how a fanboy would react (okay, I'm not imagining that).

I just killed a 5th boss and I was browsing through the menu and accidently hit exit mission or something rofl.

Overall impressions:

The storyline/plot is really interesting. I could translate 75 percent of it since I'm studying the language. Voice acting is pretty top notch since I hear that they are using some A-list seiyuu.

Gameplay is ...interesting. It plays a lot like KH:BBS and Monster-Hunter styled games. As such, if you aren't familiar or good with rolling/dodging and the like, it'll be hard. My biggest complaint is the camera. I kept smacking into trees and stuff since the camera controls are hard to handle.

Art direction, cutscenes, and models are looking fantastic as usual.
