Basically, I installed RPGXP on a W7 computer and it won't start. I can see it in Task Manager but it will close after about 3 seconds and nothing. Can someone tell me the size of their RPG Maker XP folder? (C:\Program Files\Enterbrain\RPGXP) I'm thinking that maybe it didn't install properly.

Ok this is what you do
go to (C:\Program Files\Enterbrain\RPGXP)
right click the file RPGXP
press properties
select compatibility tab
select windows XP service pack 2
if you dont have service pack 2 Windows 2000 or 2003 will work too

It's also good to set it to run as Administrator. (Seeing as how it's a verified and safe program. Don't do this with programs that you're unsure of in any way.)

I've tried everything posted in the topic so far and I still get nothing. I have no idea what could be wrong. So far I've tried :
Simply re-installing it.
Uninstalled the RTP and tried running it and I got the rgss102e.dll error.
Went through the registry to see if the application path was wrong or something and it wasn't.
Figures something like this would happen when I need to use RPGXP. <_<

That's how people usually fix the problem. If it doesn't work for you, uninstall and reinstall everything. If it still doesn't work, try installing in different folders.
