When i was looking for RPG's i have not played i found resonate of fate, but after reading the reviews and a fully good look at it i changed my mind and did't bother with it

have there been any good rpg releases since this one? i'm looking for the more classic style of rpg.. ff,suikoden,tales style

i have a similar post to this, but that post is in regards to games created by rpg maker and such engines, this post is about rpgs that are on the market,in shops, big budget etc

Ok, I'd go to any commercial game review site and sort all of their games by RPG and then start researching all the games you find in that list that appear to match what you're looking for.

You forgot to state what console do you use, there are many exclusive RPGs for each console.

When I want to buy an rpg I do what X-M-O said or I look for a list of rpgs [or any genre I want to play atm] for my console online, look at some reviews, comments in the review, gameplay videos on youtube, etc.

I could name a few RPGs but I don't know what console you play your games on.

I'd recommend Radiant Historia for the DS, it's a JRPG somewhat like Chrono Trigger, but with a (IMO) much better time-travel and timeline system.

If you haven't played it and you got a ps1/ps2 i say get Chrono cross. for the PS1.
It's like a chrono trigger 2...But with no chrono....or robo....Or frog. But you do get a shitload of party members (Excuse my potty words)
