Heyo!

The latest game in the Street Fighter series was released this week (6th US, 8th EU) for PC. I was just thinking I could check if there was anyone on RRR who was playing SF at all! If you do, feel free to add me on Windows Live (nick: sternborn). I'm completely useless though, but hey! maybe you are too? Then we can flail at the air together, right? wink.gif

As above mentioned I'm a complete nublet at SF and I'm getting stomped when I play online. I have a staggering 8 Wins and 32 Losses sweat.gif

For those that don't really play SF:

Do you play any other fighting games? On what Platform?

/Best regards,

I'm pretty much in the same boat as you, I love fighters, but I suck royally at them.

I won't be getting Arcade Edition, as I don't have a 360 or PS3 and the PC version supposedly features horribly invasive DRM. As cool as Yun and Yang are, it's not worth it for just a few extra characters, plus my PC is getting on a bit anyway. I'll stick with the 3DS version for the time being.

Not playing much of SF4 at the moment, though. Most of my fighting game time of late is going into Asuka 120% Final for PS1, Ys vs. Sora no Kiseki for PSP, and BlazBlue Continuum Shift 2 for 3DS.

I'm waiting for Super Street Fighter 4th Strike: Turbo Arcade Edition Extreme Game of the Year Edition. I like fighting games, but I'm not going to buy every expansion pack they sell at full game price.

As for fighting games, I'm playing Mortal Kombat for the PS3.

@Firefly: Arcade Edition is only full price if you don't own the previous title (Super Street Fighter 4). It costs $15 to download it as DLC if you previously own SSF4.

@Milton Monday:
I have no idea about any intrusive DRM. It uses Games for Windows Live. Which is, in fact, horrible, but not very intrusive. Also the only game I've tried of the ones you listed is Blazblue, got it on my PSP smile.gif

For $15 bucks I'll get it, my gamertag is XxRukiriXx.

Fighters ftw!
Firefly

You need SSFIV to get it at $15, you gotta pay full price sorry.

Im not a fan of SSIV, its fun, but I much rather prefer Third Strike. I'll play anyone who wants to, though.

My dad was playing this on Monday, he kicked everyone's ass in singleplayer except for that boss guy at the end with the yin and yang in his chest. Then he played Point Blank and got 2 top scores rofl.
