Kero-chan
Hi! So, I'm new to this family so, let's start! wink.gif

First of all, when I was 6 or 7 years ago, I don't know about RPG Maker, and NOW I know about RPG MAKER! Except the CMS, CBS, ABS, etc.

So, all of you know, Battle System is my difficuty, and the Menu System too so... (jumps the part) I'm using RPG Maker 2003 v1.08, to create my games with his patches. Without that, I will no longer to do everything customized anymore. sad.gif

But, I don't like RMVX, but yes, RMXP, because that's why I hate VX!

That's because VX it's never customized, it just have A,B,C,D,E tiles! It don't has to be free tiles?
But compared to VX, XP is a good maker, it's FULLY CUSTOMIZED!
BUT I'm doing RM2K3 ames including another RPG makers games.

That's all, thank you.

I know, but I HATE RPG MAKER VX!

I remember this old saying about XP and VX: "RMXP: Is like Windows XP, good and old; RMVX: is like Vista, sexy and useless."

Welcome to the forums, by the way.

I like RM 2003 the most since I don't understand how to scripting, it have a lot of feature, and airship still exist, unless for the graphic, side view battle make me crazy, yeah,it's fun to saw them movin though XD
Kero-chan
I knew, i knew, my usernake is taken---

BTW, RM2K3 doesn't had scripts, it had events to do.

Talley-ho! Welcome to the forums. hope you enjoy your stay here biggrin.gif
And yeah, I've been moving in and out of RM2K3 and RMXP I just couldn't
get used to VX. Maybe at a later time i'll work on it.

Un, I'm practicing event a lot. I love them XD It's easier than scripting. *though sometimes I wasting my time like creating event that double HP or MP, though the program already provide a simpler way than creating common event, I like using condition/status inflict a lot, it's good to mark the caster or equipment holder*
And it have a lot of battle event too, I wanna add that "Conditional Branch Battle Command Action" on XP.
I just can't figure out how to script them. Like adding an event when using basic attack command.

Welcome to the forums, by the way.

That's got to be one of the best sayings ever!

Ah but there is also another saying...people who say Vista is rubbish, don't know how to use computers biggrin.gif this can also translate back to VX biggrin.gif RPG Maker VX FTW!

Welcome to RRR, post lots and enjoy yourself biggrin.gif

Welcome.

Also without getting into another RPG Maker war allow me to say that VX is more than capable (with scripts) to do the same thing that XP can do, including unlimited tilesets, XP tilesets, XP characters, etc., and I'm sure the reverse is true with XP. It's all about which editor you prefer.

However, before saying that VX is useless, I'd recommend to take a look at some of the more quality VX games available (Tales of the Drunken Paladin, Ravenwood, One Night, A Dust Tale, and The Cartographer, just to name a few).
