As the name dictates, It's a story writing software built with a very general template for creating game stories. I also added CharaGen to it, if you don't know what that is then it's basically a character generator.

anyway, i believe this software to have a few bugs. so if you find any please let me know and I'll fix them.

Huh. It keeps coming up with an error box saying it has to shut down. I think I've installed everything.

A shame, I really wanted to use this. It looks really useful and well set out.

I redownloaded and installed .Net framework 4.0, but I'm still getting the same error.

When I try to run it, it immediately brings up a window saying that it's encountered a problem and needs to close.

EDIT: It wouldn't happen to be a Vista / 7 exclusive, would it? I'm on XP at the moment.

ok, here it is.
you must have:

windows xp sp3 or higher
.net framework 4.0 client profile or full
windows installer 3.1 or higher


let me know if you got that and still getting an error.

I've installed everything you've told me to install, but it hasn't changed. I still get an immediate error.

ok, here's the rundown...
it was a simple IO error on CharaGen -_- anyway, i tested this on windows XP and 7(should run on Vista as well).

Success! Thank you for fixing this, I can see myself using this quite a bit. It's a welcome change from having multiple files scattered around.

You should edit your first post to have the new download link, as well. Otherwise, there would be plenty of people complaining it doesn't work, without reading the rest of the topic.

Found a problem. If the program is left for a while without anything being edited, it quits by itself. Annoying when I've written out a good section of dialogue and have it lost by the program shutting down.

bug fixed, download from the same links (i updated the file)

sorry, i don't know about that bug... er... check your pc i don't think that's a problem with the software.
the software has an icon in the taskbar beside volume and stuff like that when it is minimized. you can double click the icon to restore it or right click and open.

Guess I just panicked. Ok, apart from that little hiccup, everything is running fine. Loving CharaGen, it gives me a good place to start with a character, which in my opinion is one of the hardest things to do.

awesome just what i need! kudos for you

I heard there a some very good novel writing software programs but what is a good and cheap one that lets me structure my writings. I'm really lousy at structuring.

I have been using this program for a while and i have to say it really helped me, usualy i just let all my writings be on notepads and then forget where they are xD but with your amazing program i acctualy can find my stuff again so thanks
