Hi all,

my name is Florian, I am a programmer and games researcher from Germany.

I am currently hacking on an open source game engine for game research purposes. I've joined RPG Revolution for the really good game art and the talented people here.

So far I do not have any RPG Maker experience apartf from looking at some screenshots. But since my engine is heading in a smililar direction, I think this is the place to discuss and ask for opinions.

If I find one or two people here who would do some Beta-testing of my engine, then it will be an extra benefit.

It's great to learn off another system (or more) to get an idea of what your system should be.
Heck, it may be better then Rpg maker Vx and Xp together.

There are a few people working on engines on this site so I believe this is a good place to start.
