Okay I think I describe myself a little.
I am learn to be programmer exactly, currently learn visual basic, java and php.
And this ruby language is intrigues me so I decide I'll learn that too.
I am also like to edit image using photoshop.
I'm a fan of Final Fantasy Series, and own myself RPG Maker XP and also RPG Maker VX.
Still beginner at this time and hope could release my own game soon.
Anyway nice to meet you all and hope I can contribute something to this site~~~~

I mean, I enjoy Final Fantasy as well, but after the 11th one the rest went downhill....
I love when programmers come here, because, apparently, ruby is very easy when you learned something that is also Object-Orientated.
If you ever need help with any basic, functioning events, you can view my short examples in my signature.

Well for storyline I like FF-X the best and afterwards I more love the graphics and the unique battle system that Squarenix offered than the storyline itself. LOL
Well I can edit some scripts for now but I don't think I can make my own full script cause I just barely learn it.
I already prepare a game and still work on the storyline which I had to figure out right now.
And I already mapping a town which later I want you to comment if that's already okay or I have to learn the basic of mapping coz I'm just beginner.

Forgot to mention before that its pretty good the languages you've already learnt. Used to do a bit of visual basic myself but wasnt the best when I tried to make a proper game from it

Well actually I never make a game with visual basic, mostly I programming for application in office, school but it's still far from perfection...
And this ruby script has a similarity with java so I can read more than enough to learn and also with the help feature they provided...
And this is my first time in making a RPG so I doubt it'll become so good, but as wise people say if you keep training perfection will come eventually....
And I like it here and maybe if my photosohop skill was good enough I'm thinking to do request for logo.

I attempted to learn programming languages myself, specifically C++ and Java. Quite frankly, I'm better off as a artist.

Eh yeah. I couldn't really get into it because I couldn't really handle the problem-solving aspect of it. Plus it requires a HUGE amount of micro-management, and it just wasn't fun for me. At least I can say I have a REALLY BASIC knowledge of programming but I'm pretty terrible with it.
