Hi I'm Persomatey, some of you already know me and have made some sprites for you. Here I'm going to share these and other sprites with RRR. I was told by some who I've made sprites for in the past to start a thread showing you all of my spritework, So I did

I am open to requests. I can make Animated Battlers, Sprites, Banners, pretty much everything, so don't be shy to ask
I do however have one condition, whatever I make is for the community as a whole. Not just for one person. Oddly enough, no matter how many times I make that clear, people still don't seem to understand that
((Most people just ask me to sprite an animated battler for them. And quite frankly, I'm not quite fond of the sprites that they choose.
For now on, I will be doing my own sprites. I will still take requests, but I will only accept the ones that I find interesting and do them when I have the time to.))

I would prefer to have some recognition if you use any of my spritework, but since alot of you are just going to use it anyways it's not required
Just don't claim my spritework as your own and we wont have any problems
For commercial games however, you must contact me.

This thread is separated into multiple posts. This is so I can keep multiple picture files on one post. For you can only have a specific number of pictures on each post. This way I can have all my work spread out and I wont come into conflict with that annoying little message.

Animated Battlers

Let's start off with a battler for Lancer 02.
Surprisingly, I haven't found any Lancer 02's so I just decided to make one myself.
I'm going to name him Ricard.

Here's a battler for Sithjester's Dragoon from Final Fantasy Tactics.
Thanks to Urbz-p for making the "idle" part
Notice how I incorporated the Dragoon's "Jump" ability
I'm going to name him Kain after the reoccurring Dragoon in the Final Fantasy series.

This is a Blonde Fighter I made for Hodgeelmf
This is the first animated battler I've ever made!!
No way I'm naming him Hodgeelmf after his requester. I'm going to name him Kristopher.

Here's the battler for Cleric 01
I feel I could have done better on the idle part...
I'm going to name him Cecil.

Here's a fighter I made for Jacen. He isn't using it because it wasn't exactly what he wanted.
Thanks to Darksora who made another version of it and letting me know where to go with it.
I can't share the overworld sprite because it was made by Darksora specifically for Jacen.
I like the name Jacen, so I think I'm going to name him that after his requester.

Here's a battler for Angel 01.
Not alot of editing from the overworld sprite my, but I do have a reason for this. I wanted to make this one the same size to preserve it's cuteness, if it was any bigger.. well... it wouldn't look as cute!!
Technically this is supposed to be an enemy... but look at it! does it really look like a bad guy to you? Plus I put it in an "Ally's Configuration" so... Il put it with the rest of the good guys anyways

Lets think of a name... how about... Cure! After the Final Fantasy spell, Cure. It is an angel after all.

Here's a battler I made for DarkNesa Based off of Lunarea's srpite.
My only concern is that you would think it would be hard to fight wearing a dress.
The character was already named Faith. I like that name so were not changing it.

I'm making some Moogle battlers as well, for the sprites I made below.
Here's the first, a Mog Knight.
Lets name him Montblanc after a famous Moogle in the Final Fantasy series.

And heres a Black Mage.
Thanks to Bean who ripped the spells from my favorite videogame of all time, Final Fantasy IV.
How about Doga? After the great mage in Final Fantasy who has hundreds of Moogle pupils.

Heres a dude I made from Magic Pancake's overworld sprite.
He has multiple weapons, and fighting styles.
I think a good name for him would be... Abel.

Here's a battler I made based off of one of sithjesters sprites
I think that this turned out really good. I kinda wanted to do a thief-styled battler, and this request gave me the opportunity to do exactly that
I named the character Clare after my guitar. I happen to like that name a lot.

After searching for what the heck a Kaduki battler is, I finally found a template, and I think I have 2 really great battlers to share with you guys. This request was from DarkNesa. I don't know who made the original overworlds.

Monster's Den

Here's some monster minkoff battle's I made.

Here's some dragons from Fire Emblem that I put in Minkoff form.

This is some kind of ghost thing.
He lives in haunted mansions, caves, graveyards, things like that.

A Water Sprite/Fairy type of monster.
They live in ponds, lakes, rivers, even in wet grass. They don't go out into the open ocean to much because they dislike salt water.

Here's a Ancient Ring Monster.
These are often found in areas where ancient civilizations used to live. It is unknown what there purpose was to these ancient cultures

Overworld Sprites

Here's a Lancer/Dragoon dude. I forgot who originally made this,
but I made some changes to it including adding a lance on his back.

This is a blue haired supersayian looking guy

A Red Mage based off of Sithjester's design.

This is an evil red head?

Here's a Sprite for Final Fantasy XI's Prishe made for Dark Nesa.

Here's some Moogles I made for Jacen
Moogles galore! some with red antenna, some with blue antenna, some with stripped fur, some with little pouches, and of course a lot of recolors

Here's a little mage girl I made randomly one day.

Noble08 I made a few versions of Noble08 for Nichodo.

I made a red ninja chick. She uses her sword in her right arm, and her left arm is entirely armored in metal so it can be a pretty badass weapon as well. I made two versions, one with the sword, and one without the sword. Because their may be a reason that she may not need a sword for a particular battle, or she doesn't need a sword at all, or she lost it during an important cut scene in a game. I don't know, what ever the reason, I made two versions.

Here's a quick little arrow sprite I mad for Jade the Tempest.

Faces

These first three were based after White Ties styled sprites.
I'm not sure if I'm allowed to show you the entire sprites on here.



Here's one for the "Evil Red Head" sprite

This is a face for the Hodghelmf minkoff and overworld sprite.

Here's a face for the Jacen minkoff. I tried to make it as far off from his concept art as I can (because he doesn't want the two to be affiliated) while still clinging to his minkoff's features.

Heres a face for Lunarea's sprite's minkoff I made for Dark Nesa.

I used a face generator for these faces for the most part. I did do half the work by myself so credit does go to me as well as the generator.

Tilesets

You remember the RTP Castle01 and Castle02 tilesets, everything is red with weird spade-looking things. Basically I changed the red to blue and the spades to crescents. I also changes the red carpet autotile to blue as well.

just to let you know, it might be wise to credit the generator you made the face sets with.

Thats right, I did give credit on my old thread, I'll do that right now. The generator does do alot of work, but I mainly rip the parts then bring them into photoshop and put them together. I've even used MS Paint to do some pixel by pixel editing on the faces. So the generator does about half the work by creating the pieces. I'll put the credit for it right now.

Can I just ask one question: I know you've mentioned in your old topic that you don't like doing RPG Maker VX sprites, are you accepting requests for this now? If you are, can I request you convert these sprites into Kaduki sprites and Battlers? I'll also give specific detail of what I want their weapons to be like.


I just want him to have a basic sword. However, I would like the hilt to be black, and the blade to be gold.


I want her to have a Masamune like Sephiroth, from Final Fantasy VII. Like the first character, I want the hilt to be black, but I want the blade to be pink.

If you cannot do these, could you redirect me to someone who does this sort of work, and are taking requests? Much appreciated.

DarkNesa- I still am taking requests of course, I even said so on Post 1. Your request is accepted. I just don't like doing RMVX because I simply don't like the system itself. But if it's requested I will most definitely do it. Your request is added to the list.

Finally finished the Lancer Abel battler. I love coming back to this guy. I really do feel that this is one of my better battlers. I love the fact that I can go back to him and give him more weapons and shield variants. The weird thing is that you ever see a lancer holding a shield, because most lancers need both hands to attack with their lances. I managed to make up for that by editing the last battle pose a little. It's more like the lance is sliding out of his hand, making more of a stab than a lunge forward.


Now all I have to do is make an axe and then start making Abel all over again!

something about the shield looks wrong to me. I feel as if it is too pressed up against his body to where it looks like the arm inbetween doesn't exist. I simply suggest making it stick out a little bit more, allowing it to appear a little bit more 3-d.

The shield was sort of made last second, I personally think that the shield itself looks fine, perhaps the most "3D" part of the character. And the point of a shield in the first place is to take up the entire arm to protect oneself, if the shield was smaller, and you can see more arm, well... what kind of shield would that be? I wouldn't want to take that out to battle. And You can still see the arm in every pose, but the defend pose. Plus remember it is to be used in a "side view battle system" and it is not supposed to be facing forward, but to the side, thats why you can't see the arm in a few poses, because it's on the other side of the body. But thank you for your critique anyways.

I really like the blue castle it could work in a game with a good team and bad team it all looks very nice

I think you missed what I meant. You can have the shield be the same size... just have it more pronounced and allow some of the arm show BEHIND the shield. I didn't imply making it smaller. I just feel as if the shield looks flat and really WAY too close to the body. Everyone's free to criticize. I like your work. I was just giving you some feedback on what I think of this particular work. I've been supportive of all your other work.

I agree with Barch, persomatey. The shield kinda looks like a big belt buckle if anything. Maybe move it a little further away from the body and show a little bit of his hand or something. While the battlers ARE side view battlers, they are at a slight angle so you should be able to see SOME of his hand, in the least.

Also, I have kind of a big project for you if you're interested perso. It'll start off small of course but if everything works out okay I'd like to make a big deal out of it .

I'll see what I can do, I assume your talking about the idle pose, because the shield in the other poses seem to be fairly separate from the body. When I have time, and care to remaster it, I will.

Hey guys! In Rzr's resource pack, theres an overworld sprite in there that says it was from me, it wasn't. The sprite titled "gargenjoh" was made by MagicPancake. the sprite is the overworld model for my Abel series. The overworld sprite was created by MagicPancake, he gave me a request to make some minkoff battlers based off of the over world sprite "gargenjoh"

I just wanted to make that clear and give credit to the actual creator MagicPancake

So~ Heres a little WIP of Abel's Axeman battler.

On top of giving him an axe, I'm going to give him two types of axes! double edged and single edged.
You see.. I had already been half finished with the double bladed axe, when Magic Pancake told me to make it single bladed So I started making the Single bladed battler... when I looked at the half finished double bladed battler... I thought to myself "Well, this is still a very usable battler for those who want to use it" So I threw a WIP together, and here it is! I will be making both versions of axemen or Abel. On top of that, they will each have, shielded and non shielded versions! So that 4 new battlers coming your way! I will probably be finished with the douible bladed ones later today!

Where is the sprite in this image from?

The sprite was from Nechi's Shooting Script System http://www.rpgrevolution.com/forums/index....showtopic=30823. As was my Faces 1, 2, and 3. The requester only had one sprite from the 3rd charset, so I created the rest of the sprite myself. But the first two I don't know who sprited them. Although all three apparently starred in Nechi's Shooting Script System.

Abel's double axe is done~

There wasn't much editing from the original, thats why he didn't take to long to create. I just had to make the axe and replace the sword and some small details. And of course there is two versions, one with the shield, and one without the shield.



Now all I have to make is the single bladed axe.
Oh hey! lookie here! I just so happen to have a WIP of it... right here!

I finished Abel's single bladed axe battler!
Two versions, as always, one with a shield, and one without a shield.
One day I will go back and start fixing all those little shield issues the people were talking about earlier. But for now I think he looks fine, so until I see the need, or have the time, for changing such a small detail, I'm not going to do it.

To be honest, they could have turned out better. But I think they are really great, especially considering these were my first Kaduki styled minkoffs I've ever done.

Thanks again for doing my request. Also, I've pointed out one thing: 'Kaduki Red' isn't exactly red. It's another copy of 'Kaduki Blue', so maybe you put the wrong battler in by mistake?

Well the sprites you gave me are exactly the same aside from the color scheme and the hair. Other than that, they are exactly the same down to the scarf. So I changed the color scheme and the hair. And I also changed the weapon to a katana like Sephiroth's Masamune.

Never mind I see whats wrong. I must have accidentally put Kaduki Blue where Kaduki Red was supposed to go... hehe I'll fix it now. Fixed



And I have no idea what you mean by "split into sections" You should give me more detail about the issue, I have no idea how your battle system works, perhaps look at some other sprites and see what the order is? Then I can put them into what ever order you need

Oh, sorry for not being specific. I am using Tankentai SBS 3.4d + ATB 1.2c Kaduki! (copied straight from the folder name! )

He is a wizard, and uses a staff as a weapon. I understand that you must be busy with other requests, so if you can't find the time to make this, then don't worry about it. Thank you very much for your time and consideration.

Although I feel the facesets lack the same "SPARK" as your battlers I'd be a fool not to see quality in your work. Great job!

Whooh! I had an awesome vacation to China!
If anyone plans on ever going to China, I would strongly suggest China Spree as your tour company!
It was awesome seeing my step-mom's country. From the busy cities of Beijing and Shanghai, to the quite towns of Tongli and Yangshuo. Truley amazing, I could spend a week in Yangshuo alone

Fleed did a very good job on that battle system....Plus he made the Final fantasy 9 skill learning system.

Wow I can not believe how amazing this work is. Looks lovely, works seamlessly and improves the experience tonnes! Also you're dead lovely taking requests. So many and so nicely.

I do have one, but understand if you don't like to work on 'real stuff.

It's rather washed out and colourless, but hey ho.
I'd REALLY love an animated battler for it though. (thank you for Ricard! he's awesome, this lady is to be his wife you see)

She's a character called Saber from some Japanese anime, don't know much, but I think the look is fabulous!

Added to the list, but if you could give more information on the little things like weapons, shields, things like that it would make it alot easier

Oh well, mostly she wields a kick ass sword! And is the greatest hero in my game so should be suitably dynamic! The sword contains a God's power, so is integral to her/the story.


I'll be honest though... After spending like 4-5 hours over 2 days searching for one for her, I gave up.
Then later, when searching for something unrelated, I totally stumbled across something decent!
Weird eh?

The sword is totally wrong. I think the sprite's actually a boy and not wearing an armoured dress.
So it's way far from perfect, but it's.... passable?
So please bump me down the priority list . Before I had that half suitable one, I was UTTERLY desperate, and if other requesters need one like I did, it's only right to do them first

Alright guys. It's been weeks since my last update (and it really wasn't much of an update).
But now I have returned!
And now I finally got on top of...
-drum roll-
A request!!

PIGVOMIT683 you may have been wondering if your request was even going to get done huh? Well, I finally finished it!

I decided to name her Clare. I happen to like that name. In fact, it's the first name of my favorite guitar!
Yes I actually name my guitars. I give them first, middle, and last names....is that weird?

If you want to know about my guitar. It's a classic fender, sunburst, acoustic. She's my favorite (-whispers- but dont tell Angela and Tatianna that!) lol. Her full name is Clare Horo Simental. Yes that is also the sprites full name as well, Clare Horo Simental (just call her Clare)

Anyways, getting back to the sprite, the original request was for a dagger. But I found a neat template that uses two daggers that I kinda wanted to try out. So I made this sprite a dual daggered sprite. She's also based off of sithjesters "random girl" sprite.

Yup I'm still kickin'. I just have alot of stuff to do before my school year starts in a few days...and then I have alot of stuff to do afterwards also. As well as teaching trainees for GVTV. I have alot on my plate here and I'm surprised that I even managed to fit a sprite in between uploading things to youtube and rendering 2 videos in FCP. ...man...I am a nerd...
