Okay i just bought Game maker for mac( i own for PC and i own RPG maker VX), and want to make a RPG maker game in game maker using the sprites(I have made custom ones for characters) for tilesets, If anyone knows how this can be accomplished plz tell me, or point me to a forum with a similar topic.

Someone made RPG Maker XP in Game Maker. You could look that up and do what you want with it. But you really do need to know GML to use Game Maker. There really is no way around that.

This is a very general request and not possible within the scope of a few forum posts. Like Lurvid said, you're gonna have to learn how to script with GML. If you already understand programming concepts or know a language like C or Java, learning the GML syntax won't be hard since it borrows a lot from those.

It's really about how determined you are in learning how GM works and applying your creativity to that.

There's a large userbase here at the GM community with discussions on a large variety of stuff you can do with GM.

Okay is it anything like C# or Visual Basic? Those i am really good at, And a little C++. I don't want to make a totally custom RPG i just want to use the RTP to make a game. So far i have made the characters and imported them and some tileset pieces.

I hear GML is exactly like Visual Basic. I don't know Visual Basic but I take their word on it. But what I'm wondering is, why use Game Maker instead of RPG Maker if that's all you want is a basic RPG Maker game? At least that's what you're heavily implying. As much as I endorse Game Maker, if that's all you want is what RPG Maker offers then by all means it's only common sense to use RPG Maker. If there's any small tweak or feature you need then RGSS scripts are there for you, no need to learn an entire language and make an engine that already exists just to add it. And if you're saying you already brought Game Maker and RPG Maker is too expensive, well, uh, I dunno lol.

I am making my game for Mac(just bought my first one), and it is a pain because my image editing programs are all for windows. I was going to use Wine, or CiderX. But i prefer the native way of going.

You might as well just install Windows. Everything that isn't written in Java is for Windows. I tried using Ubuntu and after a week I got sick of it due to the lack of my favorite programs. OS X only has less than 5% of the OS market, I don't know why you'd ever condemn yourself to that isolated hell where Apple is the only software manufacturer.

Do you have Photoshop?
Adobe programs work on Apples. ;D
