Regular ole soap and water should do the trick. Just wash your face with soap at night and in the morning.

Also, if you have long hair, it's advised to cut it off because longer hair gives you more grease and sweat and dirt that accumulates in your pores.

Ok cutting of the hair works real well no matter who you are BUT if you have it really bad you HAVE to go to a doctor, all these soaps and crap are just to treat the outside, its under the skin that is really causing the problems, and the real problem is doctors just want to treat you will less effective medicnes to treat it, you need antibotics! dont lets then give you doctor pads or a face cream, you need the pills that work from the inside out. Remmber your doctor works for you!

Considering that acne and ezcema all over the place is the same thing (kinda of), I share your pain.

I remember just going through a period in high school where my ENTIRE body -- from head to toe -- was covered in ezcema and I was just labelled as a walking freak. Although people never really came up to me and said anything directly to my face (because I was, like, 6'1, 219 pounds -- who would?), but I knew people were giggling and laughing at me behind my back when I was walking around school. Nobody wanted to talk to me; nobody wanted anything to do with me. I remember in gym class when I was playing in goal in ball hockey that it was SO painful to move my body -- and I even told everybody on the team that I wouldn't be able to do much -- and they still yelled at me for not making a timely save -- come on!!!

Also, teachers never really seemed to care about my skin problem at all (it was like I was invincible! WEE!!!), so I understand what it's like.

Now, my ezcema is nowhere near as bad...although I do have the odd patches here or there; it's much better, now. My only advice, that I know, and I'm not sure it might help, is to take better care of your body and skin. Try and eat healthier; take quicker, and more frequent, showers; watch your face and hands as much as you can; use a fregrence free soap; anything helps if you just take of your body.

Good luck! Acne doesn't last forever -- remember that! Sooner or later, you'll have the girls all over ya. biggrin.gif
