Hello I'm Jackal the Ripper. I have a question about Battlers

How many frames can I put in a battler for one animation (For Example, his stance animation may only read three frames.)? The reason I am asking is because I want to make a constant animated battler. From the time he is doing the boxer-bounce to the point he is rushing to the enemy for a somersault slash, or does a flurry attack like Dante would do; drilling the opponent with 100 shots. Is it possible to do these outlandish things with VX? Or does it only read a minimum amount of frames. I want it to look as smooth as Blaze Blue.

One of the monsters has souls in his body and the souls are constantly moving and morphing... Like that Giant Dog with souls on him in Full Metal Alchemist.

What battle system are you using?
With the default battle system, you sadly can't do animated battlers.
Tankentai SBS allows for 11 4-frame poses, charsets, or Kaduki poses.
Melody lets you have charsets, Kaduki, or -actual- animations as battlers.

If you're not using either of the battle systems listed above, you should look into both and see which you like better.

Hope this helped!! biggrin.gif
