Okay, so blippy and I were working on an idea. What if... wait for it...there were multiple universes in a game? like, maybe there are two fundamentally similar, but extraordinarily different characters? like, if there was a goddess in the game's universe, and making an appearance in the game, was a corresponding deity from a different universe?

Been done before, but it's not as if there isn't a ton of original story ideas and content you could pull from it. I mean, you can do pretty much anything with the premise, especially if you increase the universe count (how about an infinite number of deities?) - the goddess idea seems to be rather original. Just keep dreaming, and you'll get somewhere, trust me.

Still, it's... kind of been around for a while. The biggest example of this is all the stuff with DC Comics' Crisis On Infinite Earths (and, of course, all the Earths they had before then), but I think it was also in Chrono Cross.
