Brilliant! And you were worried about messing it up by colouring it?
Yep, always paranoid~ Thank you very much!

Are you coloring with tablet or by mouse?
Tablet. If it was by mouse, it would be less clean and would take me forever,. Tablet does also, but I'm getting used to it.

Have you tried linearting with tablet? It would help your drawings pop out more.
Color choices and such could use a little improvement too, but ti'll come with practice.

I have not tried that so, I'll look into it.
Yes, color choice needs more familiarity, but outfit wise, completely with what was during the period~ Horridly gaudy, lol! The skin tones shades are what I'm focusing on getting better at, too. I'll need more practice and familiarity for sure~ Thank you!

Hmm. Perhaps if I shaved down on the amount of hair and face a bit, not so much. The legs are actually the right size. The crotch area appears lower than it actually is. Based on the example of the outfit I had to go by, it's the sag on the pants. Though I just spotted a boo boo~
But thanks for the comments~

It really does, which is what caught my attention. One day I'll be able to utilize more graphic tools~ The look for feathers I'll definitely need in the future now that you mention it
I will have to go back and edit the face, though. I think the commissioner doesn't like the fluffy look, lol

One thing you should really watch for is your proportions as they are off. For example, that neck in your shot above is really long and thick and it looks more like a giraffe than a human neck. I think that you are on the right track and with some studying up on proportion and a little more practice you can do some really nice things.

You think so? I don't know if you mean his neck is too long when there are exaggerated features in anime artwork, taking into account styles also. I can't say too much on the Dusk picture as I did it a year ago but I did intend for him to look that way~

@Dusk The piece is beautiful. However, I can see where Bacon is coming from. The neck does seem a little too tall and thick, but I love the colors and shadows.
@Lowell O_O!!! The strokes you did with the airbrush are wonderful. It looks real with a little fantasy mixed in there. Well done! You bring a strong presentation to Alpha & Omega!
@Scarlet Queen Glyph For some reason this reminds me of Kingdom Hearts lol. The designs are pretty good. I like the one on the bottom.
@Samurai Boy This definately reminds me of Tetsuya Nomura's art style in Brave Fencer Musashi. I would love to see that one photoshopped! The clothing in this one was well designed. Good job!

Thank you for both the compliments and suggestions, XMO~ I actually had not thought of a window with moon, but that would add quite the effect, wouldn't it? Perfect! Your linework is VERY impressive. You've got a great attention to detail and you do a really good job of drawing clothing, especially the way it falls and moves on a form in motion.
Also I really dig your mixed styles. You've got a background that would be perfect for a flat brush color pattern, a foreground of two dynamically drawn characters that would look amazing as a cel shaded color job, and a more realistic setting of fallen enemies on the ground. It all blends together very well.

Yep, those are my own designs. I don't know if I could make a new type of weapon because the practical have been taken. The schiavona and ciquedea are pretty basic but I needed a reference of a 1700s pistol since I'm not so good at guns.

Well, it's really cool when you can design something on the blade of the weapon, like etched into the sides of the blade. You could try working with the scimitar weapon, since it also has a blade. I'd be curious to see what types of designs you would make on such a weapon. =]
It's really neat the way you design outfits and such, but this is a different side to your artistic flare and I'm liking it. =D

I'm not going to lie, your designs are very creative and you have some great control and understandings of lines, but you need to work on keeping your proportions consistent. In a lot of your drawings the heads are too large for the bodies and in retrospect, that means the hands and other features just don't look right. This was an issue I used to have (and still have in regards to keeping hands and faces proportional), though I'm getting better. You are better at drawing than me, but that's just something I think you should keep in mind and work on.
