TIER LIST:
Kloks Klapp Your Hands Disko Beat! 10/10 (Is perfect)
Boom Boom Bam Bam! 10/10 (Is perfecter!)
Requiem Lullaby 10/10
Hyperdash Blitz 9/10 (Needs to be MUCH longer, especially considering the speed!)
Tekno Goron Sity beat 8/10 (Has a few minor flaws, but otherwise excellent)
Serenade of a Soul 7/10 (It has a nice soft sad tone to it but then completely alternates and ruins the song.)
Simba Samba 7/10 (Good song, but overuse of double notes and too loud of background notes drowns out the "solo" notes)
Mini Hyperdash 6/10 (Is essentially a shorter form of Hyperdash Blitz. It was an accident, I swear!)
Kisses and Hugs 6/10 (Better than some of the above songs, but it could use some note reductions in the later parts. Otherwise still worth listening to!)
Song of Stasy 5/10 (Good beat but only 2 measures long.Seriously, the guy who wrote this fails. Oh wait...)
Sound of Suk 4/10 (Decent beginning, otherwise terrible)

All other songs not listed are bottom tier quality. Okay to listen to, but the above are the best.

Mmmm hmmm, when you hear this one, you'll be tapping your feet for sure! Try out Klok's Disko Klapp your hands beat! http://inudge.net/#echh DAMNNN this one is good! I HAVE EDITED THIS SONG! I REMOVED THE FKING CYMBALS BECAUSE THEY SUCKED ASS.

Okay wow, this song was an accident. I think you'll agree with me when I say this is either my new first best song ever, or at the very least my second best. http://inudge.net/#4tu33 I call it "Boom Boom Bam Bam". Easily my best song since "K's Klap your hands disko beat".

I call this one the "Hyperdash Blitz" as it is lightning fast. It's the only song I've made that goes faster than 120 BPM, and the max is 180, so my song goes 160. http://inudge.net/#/764e Thoughts?

Anyway, here's my absolute latest. It's about 20 measures long. I kall it the "Requiem Lullaby". http://inudge.net/#gmy9

This is one that one of my fans called the "Tekno Goron Sity" beat, and I like the name. When you listen to it, you'll see why. http://inudge.net/#dzxv

Try out Minidash Blitz! A shorter slightly lower version of the Hyperdash Blitz! http://inudge.net/#boxw

This one follows the same pattern and rhythm as the K's Klap your hands disko beat! http://inudge.net/#djjp However it's mush slower, if memory serves korrektly, so it sounds differently. This song is now called Kisses and Hugs, because it has a pattern of X's and O's in it lol.

This one is called "Serenade of a Soul". http://inudge.net/#1w61k

I call this one the "Simba Samba!" tell me what you think. http://inudge.net/#8vzoj

Here's one of my first, and I'll be extending it later. It reminds me of Zelda, so I'm going to kall it "Song of Stasy". http://inudge.net/#/b8n3

This one is what I kall "meh" okay. It's got a good premise, but it starts really suking towards the end. I'll kall it "The sound of Suk". http://inudge.net/#2tg1

This one could have been better, but I rate it a 6 out of 10. http://inudge.net/#gbpw Above average, but I still have yet to top the Disko Danse Beat!

Others will be added as I feel like it.
Shadyone
Told you it sounds like a techno goron city theme tongue.gif lol you should stick a comparison link in there
Goron City Theme - LoZ:OoT
Serenade of Water - LoZ:OoT
lol. Good work btw Klok! biggrin.gif
Try to make one like this:
A▼▲A▼▲ (Try to figure that out tongue.gif)
Answer to those notes:

are you sure you want to cheat?

Fat Panda
Hey man these are pretty dope, haha. I like the disco beat one alot, and the Boom Boom one. Your requiem is pretty cool too man. You're pretty good with this program, i'd like to hear more.
Klokinator
Well you're in luck. I just made two new ones yesterday, and I'll put them in the OP.

Edit: Oh holy shit the Serenade of water is my favorite! I'm SO going to give that one a shot!

Edit2: Unfortunately without the ability to use violins, it sounds like crap, so that one is a no go. sad.gif
minius
Hah, is this ToneMatrix?
I remember when I first found that... I muted the computer, then constructed Nicolas Cage's face with the pixels.
It didn't sound as funny as I was hoping, but whatever, LOL.

I like all of these; I think iNudge/ToneMatrix is a pretty fail-proof way to set up songs, simply because of its convenient interface.
My favourites are Simba Samba and Klokk's Disko Klap Your Hands Beat.
Klokinator
Thanks for the compliments smile.gif

I added a tier list for the better songs. I could use names for the last two. Volunteers?
Shadyone
Try this one: LoZ:OoT - Title Screen AHHHH THE MEMORIES..
QUOTE ("chefstef")
This song gives me a musical orgasm

let's see what ya can do Klok
Klokinator
Yeahhhh it's okay. I've never been a big fan of the title screen. I've already tried most LOZOOT songs and the only one I could really do was the Goron City one, and that was an accident XD

I'll still post music here though when I make it. Been busy working on my game though, now that I understand the basics of the editor.

It's a huge survival chapter with around 40-50 enemies. It's pretty sweet.
Shadyone
Awesome Klok! Looks like a good TD map lol
Klokinator
I decided that the towns above looked hideous. So I modified them.

Shadyone
yeah it does look better now smile.gif
Klokinator
I think this is the final edit.

Wait isn't this the music section? Oh shi-
Shadyone
Artwork, Music; I'd say it counts as art but might be better to shove it in screenshot thread aswell.
Klokinator
I have heavily edited the ending of "Requiem Lullaby" so please tell me if it deserves a 10/10 or not.
Fat Panda
Why are you rating your own songs.
Shadyone
@Fat Panda; He's a stuck up a little bi-
Coz he can doo annnnyyything! that's why he's a "skilled" eventer tongue.gif

Alright.. new requiem lullaby is pretty good, I think it more deserves a 9/10, and you did it again, it sounds SLIGHTLY like this song. Gold cartridge was the best 8D
Klokinator
I'm rating my songs on a scale of how good they compare to each other, not other songs. I'm not up to that level yet. Though you gotta admit, the first three are pretty kickass.

I'll edit the rating for Requiem though. Any spot you didn't particularly like?
Shadyone
Wasn't anything to dislike, it was a bit blandish though lol.
Klokinator
I made a new song. I'm not going to color any opinions about it. What are your thoughts? http://inudge.net/#dscq
Shadyone
Sounds like it could be used as a good battle theme for a Kingdom Hearts fan game. It reminds me of a KH2 song though.........
I'm not sure of this is the song I recognise.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kZ0lSyuwrv0
skip to 0:12 and it sounds like the beginning of the song a bit. Like I said I'm pretty sure this is not the KH2 song I recognise
Fat Panda
Why are you giving yourself criticism?
Klokinator
Ehh, instead of criticism, consider it more of a friendly reminder to myself when I eventually decide to tough the songs up a bit.

@Shady, I have never played KH, sadly. I hear from some people it sucks and from others that it's the best game ever. Then again I pretty much only play Fire Emblem.
Klokinator
I wrote another song. This one was intended to be a bit dark at first, then become a little lighthearted later on. Please give criticism.

http://inudge.net/#ehay

I call it "The Haunted Heart"
Klokinator
http://inudge.net/#4d8o

This is a brand spankin' new song. I finished it up a bit ago. For those of you who've listened to my "Boom Boom Bam Bam" you'll notice some similarities, namely in the beat, but the actual sound is different. That being said, Boom Boom Bam Bam was pretty kickin', and I think you will all like this one.

I call it "Hide Yo Kids".
Zakerot
They're very similar in the intro (or after the loop? I'm not sure they take a few seconds to load and when they start playing they start at like half of the bar) but after a few seconds you can notice the difference. This one is a little slower, right? (Or I'm xomfusing cumfusing confusing them?).

QUOTE (Fat Panda @ Mar 31 2011, 02:09 PM) *
Why are you giving yourself criticism?

I know why, because
Klokinator
It is indeed slightly slower. 110 BPM vs 120 BPM.

I figured "Why change a winning tune?"

QUOTE

You can click and drag that one bar thing that moves and plays the song back to the beginning.
arokalot
Hmmm... Not really feeling the "Hide yo Kids" Track. The sounds all sound similar and clash IMO. I almost couldn't listen to the whole thing. I would maybe slow the Kick Drum a bit and add some Pan,Reverb,Compression...

You do realize this is iNudge and not OMG WTF SUPER AWESOME MUSIK MAKER 3000 right?
arokalot
laugh.gif ...I'm pretty sure you could find something that would work better then iNudge.

So if you cant do it, then response is HEY ITS NOT MY FAULT? Change the percussive elements around a bit then. He makes a good point, if you really want to produce better music get a better program. iNudge is cute, but thats pretty much it. It's overly simplistic.
Klokinator
I have yet to find one I actually like. I torrented Magix Music Maker recently and it's slightly okay, but I can't make my own sounds, I can only use preprogrammed sounds it uses. Unlike iNudge, this doesn't mean single notes, this means pre-made sequences. It's also slow and I can't work nearly as fast with it as I can iNudge. I mean, with iNudge I just slightly adjust note positions, set the tempo, and start making music. With other music makers I have to scroll through lists of sounds, listening to those sounds for something I like, import to the track, edit it, go back and hunt for another sound, etc, and by then I've forgotten the beat in my head.

If there's a program extremely similar to iNudge but more powerful (Think drawing notes, but right clicking each note and adjust properties to it) then I'd use it.

Oh and I'm using Camtasia to record my iNudge songs to MP3 format. biggrin.gif
Stern
Fruity Loops have a Piano Roll editor, which means you draw notes and adjust them however you see fit. It's pretty simple. It can also run almost any VST. Which can give some crazy high quality sound samples. (See: East West Quantum Leap)

If you don't like Fruity Loops you can check out Cubase.
Klokinator
I remember hearing about Fruity loops but never tried it. It sounds simple so I'll look into it biggrin.gif

And I've never heard of Cubase. I'll look into that one too.
Shadyone
Fruity Loops is good, but I find it hard to do anything else without the piano roll
arokalot
FL Studio is a great program...it takes time to learn just like any other program.I'm sure there is a better program, but stick with something before you just decide its not good. thumbsup.gif
Klokinator
I'm currently torrenting Cubase. It looks to be more my style than Fruity Loops (6.5 GB's aaaahhhh) so I'll see what I can do when it's finished. In a month
Shadyone
lol, I look forward to to more of your musik
