"Why, hello there. It seems that you have finally awoken..."
Who is talking to me?
"It seems that you have been reanimated, and given a second chance at life..."
Is this a Dream?
"Welcome to Rorrim. The world of the forgotten."
Cryto slowly opened his eyes, and all the sensations of life rushed to him. The feeling of the sharp grass on his back, the light spring breeze against his face and with it an undelightful scent. But where was he?
Rorrim
The name echoed through his mind, "Is this some kind of secret event?" He muttered to himself as he slowly sat up, finally taking in the sights. "This doesn't look like...Anything I've seen before..." He took in a deep breath, as he was overwhelmed.
"Ah, That dazed look, the confusion buzzing throughout your face. You just woke up, didn't you?" A tall cheerful man of no remarkable features was talking to him, "Welcome to Rorrim, World of the Forgotten." The man gave a sincere smile and held out his hand, "You must still be pretty confused, I'll explain it all in due time, for right now, how about you come with me to the club? The Farmers don't like strangers lazing around in their pastures."
A Club? This close to a farm? That doesn't make sense...Did someone hack my game? Cryto looked at his hand and had his fingers touch each other, feeling his own warmth, That doesn't make any sense either... He let out a sigh, and glared at the man. He had no clue what was going on, why should he trust some random uninteresting person?
"Don't Worry, there is bound to be more like you at the club, this happens from time to time." He spoke in a reassuring tone, and although it didn't relieve the tension, it was enough to convince Cryto to follow.
(OoC: I'll summarize the wall of text here, Cryto just woke up, and a random person is bringing him to a gathering place for those who just "awaken" will you be at the place already? or will you just appear and be confused? this is up to you. Be creative with it.)

I'm out of my depth. Reanimation? That could put a spin on things, if anyone from the case is back then things could get awry. I shouldn't leap ahead like that, I don't even remember dying. Maybe that's not what they mean. I wonder if the note fits into this. If I'm gonna crack this, I need help, I need patsies and tools. So who looks resourceful?
Ice looked up from the table. Running his hand down his dark blonde hair he scanned over the room. No dress code seemed apparent, or interior design. Everything was a culmination of different styles and colours. The usually cautious infiltrator was enjoying a brief respite from his usual work, an excitement feeding him the kind of adrenaline he hadn't experienced since first learning of the death note. His nostrils flared as he swallowed the sweet air of the room. Rorrim was a curious place indeed.
"I can't take this anymore!" A man on the other side of the room stood up in fury, grabbing the closest person to him by the shoulders and shaking him, "Where's Franklyn? I need answers. I need answers!"
Damien pushed the man away and ran outside, the weight of this new world was crushing him. The familiar sensation of a friend, a guide, whispering in his ears for years was unbearable to live without. The only comfort Damien could find was his magic, but without Franklyn his abilities were limited to child's play - indistinguishable from parlor tricks. As more people swarmed from the nearby fields, Damien decided it might be best just to wait. A good story is never told in one sitting, answers and Franklyn could be found later. He turned and re-entered the club. As he walked through the doors he caught a glimpse of a man at the back, sitting alone by a table, wearing an obscure cloth mask with a white smiling face on the front...
[OoC Well I'm glad this is going now, feel like I could have done a better post... Anyone playing a mage from Alsta doesn't have to follow my example, I've taken away Damien's powers to explore him a bit without them.]

Annita
Annita simply rested her back against the wall, watching as more people came and went to the room they found themselves in. What caught her attention in special was the distinct colors and styles of the clothes used by all of the people around her. Her hood was covering most of her face but, below the shadows, her eyes scouted around the whole room. Some of the other people around there were starting to get agitated, although the curiosity was also slowly creeping it's way through her body all she did was sigh. You do realize...If some of the people here get way too aggresive, i will be forced to take over, no? I do, but i doubt anyone here will get to that level. Ah, you doubt? Humans are random and impulsive, their behaviour is never completely predictable. You speak like you we both weren't human ourselves... Ah yes, you see, but as highly trained people as we are, we stand higher than others. That's a despicable thought. Oh what's this? Going moralist on me now? I have no desire to go into another argument with you, be quiet. "Be quiet." Don't mock me. "Don't mock me." To think a few seconds ago you were saying yourself superior...
Nayana
Nayana, who had been sitting on the floor with her legs crossed for a while now, let out a long loud yawn, as if her lack of clothes or distinguished hair and eye colour didn't call enough attention to her alredy. She got up and went to stand by one of the windows, gently dropping her body on top of her arms as she smelled the air outside, it was so pure, so clean, so different. The air back in her world was always poisoned with miasma, even when inside the barriers created by the myrrh crystals the air still beared the stench of death, of the fear of death. The constant fear that a small slip to outside of the barrier might kill someone instantly but in this world everyone so carelessly, it was soothing for her. She took another deep breath and sighed, letting the pure air around her envelop her completely. She spun her body around so that she faced the others, while her hips supported her against the window. "I don't suppose anyone here has any food, do you, it feels like i haven't eaten in like, forever."
Oliver
"You are a disgrace, Oliver. I've always known you weren't meant to carry on your bloodline. Haven't they told you? They are after you because you are the last of Welstarm's family."
"Love...never fails...tears are prophocies-Lust,Glutton,Greed,Laziness,Wrath,Envy,and Pride...We all live or die..."
"Because i have a proposition which shall benefit you greatly, where you to accept."
"I have an interest in him because he's not like other guys....Neither are you...But...He seems more interesting."
...Magus Clan...
Oliver's eyes shot open and he quickly got up in the bed he was on. Cold sweat ran down his brow and all of his muscles were still tense as if ready for battle. He examined his surroundings, he seemed to be in some sort of room, looking outside via a nearby window he noticed that wherever he was in, it bore a strong resemblance to Polkuru. Polkuru...After that it...And then... He held his head, only hearing and seeing fragments of his memories. He then was suddenly reminded of his crystalized wing, where was it? He just then noticed it tossed at the opposite side of the room, with a movement of his hand, the mythril liquified and then quickly moved up his arm, reassuming the form of a crystal wing once it reached his shoulder. Just then Oliver tried contacting Jeeves but heard nothing, even so, his powers didn't seem to have been greatly affected he could still control his mythril wing and could do his usual tricks with raw mana, even though his movements seemed a bit stiffer than normal.
The others, i need to find the others. As he was about to walk away, however, another fragment of a memory crossed his mind, more like a thought, that none of his previous companions would want to actually see him. As to the why, however, it was still just a white void. He clenched his head one more time trying to force himself to remember of something, but he couldn't. He then decided to disregard it and headed downstairs where he met with all of the other people. Oliver noticed Damien and waved over to him, as he was walking in Damien's direction, however, Oliver stopped and clenched his head again, fragments once again racing through his mind. He broke out of the trance and looked at Damien again. "S-Sorry...My head is...Damien, how did we get here? Where are the others?" He stuttered a bit at the second part, he didn't know why, but he had the feeling he wasn't quite sure as to who he was talking about when he said that.

Damien's attention snapped from the man at the back of the room. His eyes sharpened, then lit up, "Oliver! Wow, I didn't know you'd be here... I haven't seen anyone else, I can't remember anything either" he explained. He glanced down at his hand and realized it was clenched into a fist, a curious look crossed his face.
"Hey, can you contact Jeeves? I think we might have been cut off from the aether or something... And I've heard some of these people say they died, do you remember anything before we got here?"

Oliver shook his head negatively. "No, i can't. My magical skills haven't been affected though, considering you're theorizing we've been cut off from the Aether, then i'm guessing yours were." Oliver then froze for a moment upon hearing that some of the people there had died, Oliver looked down at his feet. "Died...?" He held his head for a moment, another headache coming through him but it quickly disappeared. Oliver then responded. "No, not really. The last thing i remember i was..." Oliver stopped for a moment. Talking to a Magus clan... He continued quiet for a few moments but then continued. "Walking around a town we had landed in, i don't really remember it's name now either, to be honest." Oliver crossed his arms, thinking. "So...You think we...Died?"
"Unlikely." Annita interrupted, approaching both of them. "Sorry for bursting in like this, i have no idea what you two are talking about. But i'm pretty sure i'm alive and well, bene?" Annita chuckled, and then continued to speak, her slight italian accent popping in every now and then, she then actually took a look at Oliver and realized the massive crystal wing on his back. "Nice...Wing..." Annita muttered, a bit surprised. Oliver looked at the wing and back at Annita. "Thanks? I guess..." As he said that, Oliver used his wing to scratch the back of his head. Annita stared in disbelief. "It...Moves..." She gave a slight step back and crossed her arms. "I thought you two were mad to be talking about having magical skills but..."
She stood there staring for a moment but remembering. "Oh, right, how rude of me. I'm Annita Riz Da Roma." She pulled her hood down, showing her pale skin, shining red hair and green eyes. "And you two are...?" Oliver let out a short sigh before saying. "Oliver. Oliver Sarkon." Oliver whispered over to Damien. "Hey, is it just me or does she look like an adult version of Aggie...?"
Annita ponded for a moment, after listening the name. "I see...You didn't receive your village's name?" Oliver blinked. "Village name? What are you talking about?" Annita chuckled. "Why? Your village name, it is common knowledge that people receive their village's name after their normal names." Oliver blinked once more confused. "Our common knowledges must be very different then." Oliver stared at Annita up and down, even if she was being friendly this woman carried weapons like she was going to fight an army. Oliver thought it'd be safe to check if she was a magician and focused on vizualizing her aura, just then he noticed something, even though she didn't emanate mana like a normal magician would, her aura carried two presences.
His concentration was broken off, however, as Nayiana jumped right in front of him. "Wo-ow. That's a cool acessory, boy." Nayiana's eyes glinted as she stared at Oliver's wing, it was shiny, impressive, and most importantly, probably worth a ton of money. Oliver stared at the girl who had just showed up, staring her up and down trying to figure out exactly what she was until he realized her sharp point teeth. "Are you...A diagan?" Nayiana shrugged. "Dee-what? No, i'm a Selkie. You like Selkies, rrrrright?" Nayiana winked at Oliver, who just blushed and looked away. "This...This is weird."

Damien couldn't help but laugh, "Ha, powers missing? Never... Just a little diminished." he coughed awkwardly, "Wow, the girls just swarm with you don't they dukey." he laughed, trying to hide his discomfort. He eyes up the hooded girl, "Hi, Annita, my name's Damien Howler. That's a nice accent you have there. See I've been all over Alsta, I know every accent there is, and that's not an accent I know, which means you're not from Alsta."
Damien grinned with his deductions, "Simple logic, we're not from the same world. Or we're not from the same time. Maybe both. Our Selkie friend here confirms my theory, 'cause I've never heard of a selkie either." He leaned against the bar, satisfied with his conclusion. "Also explains why my magic's on the fritz. The longer a pact goes on the stronger the bond between spirit and caster, you on the other hand have your wing to draw energy from. Lucky..."
Ice watched from a small distance, eyes wide. he's quite deductive. Might be of use, he could have figured it out sooner though. They can't really be magicians though...

Oliver sighed at the comment about girls swarming him. "I just wish one of them did..." He muttered sadly. After hearing him speak, Oliver, Annita and Nayiana all spoke together at the same time. "Not from the same world?" They all stared at each other awkwardly from having spoken at the same time but then turned back to Damien, Oliver started."Isn't that a bit of a transcendent conclusion...? Although...I guess i kinda do see why you'd get to that." Oliver crossed his arms with a sigh.
Just then Oliver looked around and noticed Nayiana was desperatly trying to pull his wing off from him. "...What are you doing...?" Naiyana blinked a few times, gently letting go of the wing and then tapping it. "O-Oh nothing, i just found this really, really interesting, y'know." Oliver's eyebrow twitched. "Right..."
Annita looked around and crossed her arms, still not really satisfied with the conclusions obtained so far. "Regardless, shouldn't we try finding out why are we here first? Much like you, i don't really remember how i got here, the last thing i remember is..." She stopped for a moment and rested her hand on her chin, thinking. "The last thing i remember is that i was being tortured...Merda, i might be dead after all." She chuckled uncaringly.
Oliver still stared at the girl calling herself a "Selkie". "So, who are you anyways?" Nayiana chuckled, brushed her hair out of her face and then said as she winked. "Why, i'm the amazing Nayiana Strongbow, crystal caravaneer extraordinaire." Oliver shook his head. "You're annoying." Nayiana dropped her head to the side, hurt. "You're mean..." Oliver grunted and finished. "Whatever, i just don't like the idea of being surrounded by a lot of people from different worlds than mine, you're all just possible threats, specially Smily over there." Oliver said while he pointed towards Ice with his head. Oliver then sighed, the headache was slowly creeping it's way back. He put his hand on his head and then walked over to the first free chair he found, grunting as he was bombed with several images and sounds which he was not able to put together.
Annita blinked, her arms crossed, she turned back to Damien. "Is he always like that?"

Damien shrugged, "Naaa Oliver's always a party, he's just adjusting." he said humorously. He glanced over to the man in the smiling mask, "Hey happy boy, you enjoying the show?"
Ice stepped forwards ceremoniously, "Please, Damien, call me Ice. I have to say, it took you a while to figure it out. All of you, hardly detectives, but may be useful. See, I want to know what's going on as much as you do, but unlike you I'm not gonna sit around and ask questions, I'm here to make deductions and get home. Are you in Mr.Howler? Your... Friends would be welcome to join as well, or course. It's always good to have resources in unfamiliar territory, and I'm a master of resourcefulness."
Damien knew that beneath Ice's mask lay an even bigger smile, but his offer was compelling.
"I'm tempted" Damien began, "But I want to hear what else you've figured out"
"Well ok, you get one for free. You two clearly know each other, as do some of the others here, but there's also a multitude of worlds, and not everyone is here. Now I don't see anyone's mommies and daddies here, but you're here, so there's a relation. Groups, certain members of groups, are here. Now you're alleged magicians, these lot have weapons, and I've had a few scraps myself, so we're all quite unique here. So let's ask ourselves, why isn't the whole gang here? Three options: One, they haven't finished bringing everyone in. Two, they can't bring everyone in. Three, they've brought us in specifically for a reason. Personally, I believe in motives, so the last option seems most promising."
Damien thought for a second, "Well I'll be, it's kind of obvious, but well phrased.. We've all been chosen for a reason."
"Bingo, he gets it. You in or out?"
Damien looked from Oliver to Ice, "Yeah. If you're in Oliver then I'm in, sooner we get to the bottom of this the sooner we can stop the Magus."
Ice turned to Oliver, Annita, and Nayiana, "Come on Oliver, be somebody. Strength in numbers right."

Oliver held his head as his headache slowly disappeared again. He stared at Damien and pondered about the words he had just heard. "Stop...The Magus..." He muttered. He then nodded in approval. "Right..." He slowly got up and sighed. "I think we should wait for a while to see if anyone else's going to show up first though, like you said, strength in numbers." He crossed his arms and laughed slightly.
Annita nodded. "Va bene, i also have a lot to do back in my world so i suppose it makes sense for me to tag along, count me in."
Nayiana dropped her head to the side, letting out a short purr similar to a cat's. "Ah well yeah, i suppose i should get back to my world. This one is nice and all but my family and friends back at Tipa are depending on me, can't fail then."

The first thing Agatha Asimov noticed when she awoke was that she was about five feet underwater.
It was, after all, very difficult not to notice.
Her eyes flew wide open and she flailed wildly. Having grown up in a landlocked village, Aggie was not a very good swimmer. Somehow, she managed to work her way to the surface, waving her arms and screaming like a mad woman. Suddenly, she felt something soft bump up against her, and looked down to see some sort of colorful hoop floating in the water in front of her. She grabbed onto it for dear life and felt herself being tugged along.
Eventually Aggie reached the shore and dragged herself up, laying on the hard ground, coughing and sputtering. "Welcome to Rorrim," came a voice. Aggie looked up to see the grinning face of a tall, dark skinned man in a sharp, white suit with a neatly trimmed beard.
"Er..." Aggie began eloquently as she scrambled to her knees, "What?" She scanned her surroundings. The body of water she was in was a large swimming pool. It was surrounded by odd wicker chairs sitting next to small tables with multicolored parasols sticking out of them. There were men, women and... things lounging about, wearing nothing but strange underwear and dark glasses. A few were staring at her, making her feel self-conscious and embarrassed, even though they were the ones that were half naked.
The man fixed her with a sympathetic gaze, "Everyone is confused at first. Do you remember anything?"
Aggie tilted her heard. It felt oddly heavy and fuzzy, "I'm Aggie Asimov... I think? I was somewhere... doing... something?" Aggie was used to her mind working a lot faster, and her mental sloth was beginning to irritate her.
"Everybody is somewhere, doing something," The man said with a laugh, "Your memory will return eventually, unless of course, it doesn't."
"That's not very reassuring," She said, retrieving a towel from her purse, and working at toweling off her hair, "The funny thing is, I don't remember having amnesia".
"Very droll, miss, very droll," The man started to walk off, "Come, you have friends waiting,"
"Friends?" Aggie murmured inquisitively. She knew she had friends, of course, but she was at the moment a bit unclear as to who they might be. She picked herself up and followed the strange man.
The man opened a door and motioned inside. Aggie nodded and trudged on, still quite damp. She was halfway through the door when she turned and began to speak, only to find her host had vanished. She blinked and shrugged, figuring that she could count herself fortunate if that were the strangest thing to happen today.
She entered the room, and looked around. She recognized a couple of faces, but she couldn't think of the names to match them. She shook her head, trying to clear the lingering cobwebs out, before beginning to pace around the room, "You," she said pointing at Damien, "You, I know. And you," She indicated Oliver with a quick nod before turning to the masked man, "And that, is a ridiculous outfit. And, I..." Aggie slumped down into a nearby chair, "I am thoroughly confused."

Oliver chucked, playing with his hair as he stared at Aggie. "The name's Oliver, in case you don't remember, Agatha. And he's Damien. These others with us are Ice, Nayiana and Annita, we just met them now." Oliver sighed, they'd have to explain their theories all the way again to Aggie, but just then he noticed Aggie was soaked. "You may want a change of clothes, Miss Asimov." He chuckled and then pointed to the way to another room. "I woke up in that room and i'm sure i saw a dresser in there, it'd be a good idea for you to search for some clothes in there." Oliver took a seat on a random chair and then continued. "Try not to think too hard about your memories, trust me, it will just give you a headache." Oliver muttered.

Alaster and Kira
"Alaster... Alaster... Alaster, wake up before I step on your face."
Alaster's eyes lazily opened, he felt the cold, hard ground underneath him "Did I... did I fall asleep playing? No, don't answer, this isn't even my room. Was I mugged?" He turned his head and saw Kira sitting up next to him "Did I... do something I'm probably going to regret later?" She turned to look at him "No and no. I don't know what's going on, look at our clothes." Alaster looked at her, she was dressed oddly, like a pirate, or... like her World character. Alaster looked at himself, he was dressed as his World character! "Oh no... did we cosplay? God have mercy on our souls." Alaster stood up, expecting to be sore, but he wasn't, in fact, he felt great, superhuman even, like he could take on the world. "What's happened?" Kira stretched and doubt crossed her face "This isn't natural. Why do I feel so... awesome?"
Alaster opened to palm of his hand and imagined a controller, he input commands into the controller in his mind and suddenly fire burst open in his palm, Alaster gasped and Kira looked over "What?" Alaster showed her and Kira's jaw dropped. "I wonder..." Alaster thought as he turned his back on Kira, he extinguished the flame and thought about another control input, a glob of black dots started to gather in his palm, not good. Kira shook her head, "We need to find out where we are and what we're doing here. Is there anybody around to ask?" Alaster scanned the area, a grassy plain... and a familiar face. Suddenly somebody spoke from behind them "You have arrived." Both looked behind them and saw a tall, lanky, pale faced man smiling at them.
"Welcome to Rorrim. If you want answers then please, follow me."

Alex woke with a start. He was panting very hard, apparently something had happened before he woke up, probably a nightmare. When he woke he found himself in the middle of a field. This confused him and he looked around. He was in a pasture, alone apparently. He didn't know why or how he got here but he immediately assumed that he was in "The World" but upon looking around more intently he found that this was not anyplace he recognized from the game. He didn't remember any postings from CC corp about a new area or an event nor had he heard anyone hinting at a surprise event. Rumors usually got around no matter how tightly you monitor the flow of information. All in all he had honestly no clue where he was at the present.
He searched his recent memories for anything that could hint at where he was. All he could remember from recent days was wanting to help out a friend with their struggles that were tied directly to "The World". He had deduced that he wasn't there so he had to be somewhere in the real world. Alex ran his fingers through his hair but something startled him. It was longer than he had been wearing it. He quickly examined his hair and discovered it to be the golden blond hair color of his character from "The World" Maldrid. He glanced over his clothing to find that it was all consistent with his character. Strange, he thought. He looked up and examined the landscape for any nearby source of water to view his reflection. Upon finding one he looked into it. His theory was correct he was playing his character. He moved his hands to take off the terminal that was used to connect him to the game. When he did this he discovered to his horror that there was no terminal there to speak of. He sat down for a moment and pondered the possibilities. The likely story was that he was suffering from a coma that tied him into "The World" but that was ruled out immediately by the fact that he wasn't anywhere in the game. He would find answers.
From where Alex was sitting he noticed several more people all around with a dazed look on their faces. This was perfect. He could ask around if anyone knew where they where and find any similarities between them all. He proceeded to question anyone that he could talk to. Most of the responses he was given were generally the same. Most of the people around had no clue where or what all of them were doing here. He started hearing whispers that they had all been spirited away to a new world. Alex wasn't sure what to believe right now until he could get some concrete evidence. After several more minutes he started to see a few people go into what looked to be a club. Alex decided to go into the club, he thought he might as well instead of standing around like a clueless idiot. When he was inside there were a few people around the room but there was a noticeably large gathering in one part of the room. They all were conversing about their memories of where they came from. It was interesting to Alex, they all came from different backgrounds and maybe, he thought, different worlds altogether. One of them mentioned strength in numbers and after listening to the conversation and the amount of people that were here he decided he might as well join them. He walked up to them, "It might be a bit presumptuous of me but would you allow me to join your group. It makes a bit more sense to me than going about this wierdness alone. May I?"

Ryo
"Grah....ughhh...ouff..." A small dwarf of a man with a large beard drew his last breath as a bronce lance was pulled from his body. "Tell me I'm dead, You better have something better to say then that if you are planning on taking me to a room alone you ugly midget" Ryo stood against the wall and flicked his hair to the side, eyes closed, he gave a slight wave to his partner, signaling he was done with him. "Well that was rather dull, but can you guys explain why we had to kill the ugly rodant?" He spoke aloud, but he was the only living one in the room. He was a coniving wretch of a man master, it was in our best interest to end him. The femanine voice of Siren chorused through his mind. "Fair enough...and he was ugly, so I guess that means it wasn't a bad deed." He shrugged as he got off the wall and walked towards the rooms door. He opened it and the mixed smell oil, blood, bo, and many other scents rushed through his nostrils. Ryo let out a moan, More ugly people keep arriving... With his head held high, he shoved past many different characters, bigger than him, taller then him, more likely stronger than him too, But he didn't care, he was better looking after all, and beauty was a pass to everything in life. His at least.
So this world is supposedly the after life? or just some second world to live in? What a load of shit...right? Ryo looked around, judging everyone in the room, no one really caught his interest, which didn't suprise him at all.
Cryto
Cryto walked hesitantly with the man, leading him towards what looked to be a club of sorts, "So...This world may or may not be a second chance at life, and I may or may not find someone I may know here?" Sounds like a the story to a game some kid made up in elementry school.
The man nodded, and opened the door for him, leaving right after the door shut behind Cryto.
"Woah...." Cryto was in awe. He had never seen so many differnt cultures and looks in one place before. With his geeky background he was able to identify quite a few of them, but all that did was suprise him more. Aren't those suposed to be fake? What is going on here? Mind fuuuuuuuck? He started to slowly walk into the building, getting weird looks from some people, and giving even wierder ones back, haha, this is almost fun. He then noticed a man with a smiley face mask, Damn, he wins this round. He chuckled, he wasn't sure what to expect here, so he was just going to treat it like a game and have fun with it. As he continued to make faces at random people he noticed somethiing oddly familiar, it was one of the people gathering over there, he recognised him, "Another player?" Without hesitation Cryto aproached the man with blonde hair, "Maldrid?"

Alex was waiting for a reply from the group that he had so boldly approached. He figured that it made more sense right now to join them than to simply be a bystander. He wouldn't allow it. He wanted to do something and find out where they were and why they had been brought here. As of now none of this made any sense to him and he would get to the bottom of this. More confusing than ever was the fact that he had become his character from the game that he liked to play. Why not be brought to this world in his normal body? Before his question could be answered he heard a familiar voice behind him, calling his character's name. He turned to see a friend, but more importantly their character. With a look of confusion he said, "Cryto? No, Lucien. I hope that you know what is happening here. Why are we in our characters? This isn't "The World" it is some place entirely different altogether. This isn't a game, I've tried to remove the console, nothing works. It appears that this has become our reality."
Alex turned his head back to the group he was talking to before, "It seems that all of them had been brought here from different worlds. That is all that I can deduce from the way they have been reacting to each other and from their way of dressing." He addressed the group, "Am I right about that much?"

Damien lit up, "Aggie! We have the magic crew, I have to know if your powers work, wait no, best get yourself dried up first, We'll talk whenever." he exclaimed, trying to take his mind away from the missing voice in his head. Ice looked around nervously, "Lucky for some. Listen, if we run into anyone I know it might be best if we escape sharpish... I've dabbled in some unsavory stuff."
Damien looked inquisitively, "Haven't we all?"
"You don't know the half of it." Ice replied.
As the sounds of chatter rose the group was approached by two others. "Pretty much right." Damien said to the newcomer, "You're welcome to join so long as your useful, his rules." he said pointing to Ice.

Aggie nodded, "Well, I suppose I'd better dry off. If I'm supposed to be 'dead', I can't very well go around catching cold, now can I?" She stood up and started towards the room Oliver indicated and shut the door behind her.
As Aggie undressed, she felt her mind beginning to work again. Her memories were still unclear, but two things were.
She wasn't dead, she couldn't be. She was wet, and hence corporeal, and she almost drowned earlier. She was fairly certain people didn't drown in Heaven. The concept of being resurrected was even more ridiculous, everything she knew about magic said that resurrection was impossible. It could be faked through several techniques, people coming back to life was a fairy tale. Dead people were dead, end of story.
The second, and more alarming thing, was that her mind was being tampered with. She began rummaging through the drawers and found only men's clothing. With a shrug, she reached down into her purse and pulled out a fresh outfit, and laid it on the bed. She overlooked it and noticed something odd. She was absolutely certain that skirt used to be green. It was purple. She looked down at the dark blue towel she held in her hand. She could have sworn her towel was pink. Aggie decided a test was in order. She reached into her purse and pulled out a silk top hat, and placed it top down on the mattress.
She tapped on the brim a few times and spoke the words to a cantrip, feeling the familiar rush of magic flowing through her. In a few moments a rabbit peeked out and stared at her. Aggie gave a sigh of relief and started ti dress when she heard a small, masculine voice say, "Well done, madame!" The voice came from the rabbit. Aggie turned to face it and the rabbit turned away, "Oh, dear! Cover your shame, miss!"
"You... can talk?" Aggie dressed hurriedly as her face turned bright red, "B...But, you're not supposed to talk! You've never talked before!"
"The laws of magic seem to be a little different here," the hare said, his little nose twitching, "Yes, just slightly. You smell lovely, by the way. Like strawberries."
Aggie gaped, "Tell me, am I going mad?"
The rabbit thought on that for a little bit, "Who can say? Reality is ultimately subjective," his ears twitched a bit, "Well, I've business to be on. Fare you well!" With that, the lagomorph simply vanished into thin air.
Aggie returned and sat quietly for a while, completely dumbfounded by what had happened, when a thought struck her. Here they were, people from different worlds, some of them different species, and yet all of them spoke Lower Welstrian? Perhaps it was more than her memories being tampered with. She turned around and said, "Say, has anybody thought about we can all understand each other? I mean, you can't all be speaking Lower Welstrian, but that's what I'm hearing," She paused for a bit before turning back around and studying a rather nice still life painting in the far wall, "Oh, well. Maybe somebody stuck a fish in our ears when we weren't looking."

Alaster and Kira
Alaster and Kira were ushered into a building by the man. Kira gazed at the interior design of the place, she was expecting a pool table, and maybe a bar, but instead she saw hieroglyphs, leopard skins, a (hopefully) fake copy of the Declaration of Independance, among other extravagant items inside the walls, she was about to go explore but Alaster tugged roughly on her arm, "Don't wander off, we don't know where we are. We need to stick together until we find out what's going on." Kira pulled her arm from him, he was right, of course, so she just settled for looked around.
"So what do you think's happened, Kira?" Alaster asked, she shook her head, "I honestly don't know, whatever's happened we should probably get out of here as soon as we can." Alaster nodded, "That'd be good. Though, I think that, hear me out here, we've somehow- Kira! Look over there!" Alaster turned Kira's head over to the strangely familiar guy. "Oh wow!" Kira gasped, "That's... that's... y'know. I really can't remember his name." Alaster cackled, "Lucas? I don't know, but I do remember that he's one of Basil's friends... I think." Kira popped her knuckles "Now I remember him! He was one of Borealis' crew, while you were fighting Borealis I was fighting all of them. I've got a score to settle with that guy." Kira moved towards Cryto, Alaster followed right behind, "Well well well, look what the cat dragged in, chewed up, and pissed on." Alaster said as he shoved past a blonde haired guy near Cryto, Kira tapped Cryto's shoulder, "We've got some questions we'd like to ask you, buddy."

Considering that he was now his character he assumed that he had all the abilities that he'd acquired for him. "I think you won't have much of a problem on that part for being useful. I'll cooperate." He proceeded to listen to what anyone had to say. Anything would prove to be useful information, anything at all could be used to understand why they had all been gathered. Alex didn't like being left in the dark like this. He wanted to know what kind of world this was. It was all too foreign. People being taken and brought here from all sorts of backgrounds and worlds. He didn't like what was happening. Either they had all just become victim to the most prolific and ambitious kidnapper or they were all brought here for a reason. That reason was something that Alex wanted to find out intensely. His train of thought was interrupted by someone rudely pushing past him. Being shorter than most of the people here didn't help. Alex let out a "Hey!" as he was pushed to the side and was knocked off balance. After regaining his composure he turned to see just who had just shoved him aside. The result caused him to blink in shock. It was Alaster! if this was the same case as himself and Lucien then it was very likely to be Alaster fused with his character, and Kira was with him as well! He decided to take the risk, "Alaster, what was that for!"

"This may not be a game, But I am going to treat it as one." Cryto shrugged, "No use being uptight just because of the unknown, I'm just going to kick it till the answer drops on me." Thinking about this place too much will do no good but drive people insane, same with why I am in this body.
Cryto felt a tap on his shoulder and an almost naustalgic voice speaking, Could it really be? He turned around, lo and behold, it was just who he thought it would be Alaster. Cryto burst out laughing, "Oh my god! you seem just as much the arrogent prick as you where back in highschool!" He continued with his laughter, tears starting to come out his eyes, "Jeeze, I haven't seen you in how long? Although, I'm a little suprised to see you in cosplay!" He snickered as he tried to hold another laughing fit, Then he noticed something strangegly odd, and his tone drifted more seriously, "And I'm even more suprised you look exactly the same as you did back then..." He eyed Kira and Alaster up. He spoke to Alex without looking at him, "Hey Mald-Er...Alex? Don't they look a little...odder than usual to you?"

I floated lonely as a cloud, wondering what the Hell was going on.
TrackTrack awoke. And didn't do much else. He looked around him briefly after gaining consciousness, or life or... Whatever he was gaining. Track was never a scientific man, but this was undeniably Heaven. Or Hell. Purgatory? Whatever it was, it didn't look all that bad. Then there was a distinct sound, one he had gone quite a while without hearing; voices. They were coming from his right, which is where he began to walk.
Is this... Really where victims of Kira could go...? Perhaps just a general afterlife? Am... Am I even dead? Track began to think to himself, pinching his right thigh. He didn't wake up.
Footsteps echoeing as he walked, Track reached what seemed to be a gathering place.
"The fuck is this about...?" He asked, a look of confusion on his face. That's when a very prominant figure stoof out from the crowd. A face Track would never forget. Track didn't react, instead acting completely normal.
Satan was among the people in the room.
MuseiMusei had been floating above the gathering hall as people flooded the room. He was interested in every one, but for now would remain in the shadows rather than reveal his identity. Another man, a blonde one, entered the room and his first sentence contained some rather foul language. Musei blessed himself with one hand for the man...

"I'm honored you recognized me, Lucien. Or should I say Crypto?" Alaster said with a smirk, "It would appear that we're in a bit of a bind, though not the 'I'm trapped in my World character' kind of bind, but the 'Where the hell are we?' kind of bind." Kira stepped in front of Alex, blocking him from Alaster and Crypto. Alaster at the same time took a step back and imagined the controls, Alaster's class shifted to Shadow Warlock, "Vak Don!" Alaster shouted and a fireball emerged from his hand, "Now I don't want to make a scene..." Alaster said, waving the fireball around, "...so I'll cut you a deal. You were always a smart one, Crypto, you always had an air of mystery about you. Or maybe you just stink, either way, me and Kira here want answers, and we'd rather have them sooner rather then later. So here's the deal: You tell me what the hell's going on around here, or direct me to somebody that might now, and I won't burn this place, and everyone in it, to the ground."

Oliver sighed heavily, shrugging and waving his arms around. "Everywhere we go, there's always trouble, even if it's in another world." As soon as Oliver finished saying that, his massive crystal wing transformed into a crystalline wall which put itself between Alaster and Crypto. Oliver then continued. "I suggest you to settle down, we don't know anything either but are currently trying to figure it out." Despite trying to calm down Alaster, Oliver kept ready, at the first sign of a quick movement he would have his crystal quickly wrap itself around Alaster as if trying to contain him.

Grunted heavily. "Merda...As if it wasn't enough a violent person now we get a violent person who can shoot fire out of their hands." Ahhh...But that just adds to the challenge...Let me take over, let me fight, let me fight! Shut up, it's my body too and i'm not letting you put it in danger just because you want a challenge. You're boring, did anyone ever tell you that? You did, quite a few times, i don't pay much attention though, in case you didn't notice yet. "I don't want to be caught in a fight between you two," Alex said sternly while looking to the both of them. He was surprised when Kira stepped in front of him in order to block him from Alaster. Fighting amongst themselves would not get them anywhere. If anybody wanted to find out answers to what they all were doing here then fighting each other would not procure any answers, only more questions. "Alaster, I suggest you calm down. He doesn't know anything more about this situation than you do, and neither do I for that matter. Fighting each other would be useless," Alex said as plainly and as calmly as possible. Almost in agreement with him a crystal wall inserted itself in between Alaster and Lucien. Alex sighed, "Please don't act rashly. I'd take his advice" He looked over to Oliver and nodded his thanks. If fighting ensued between all of them then the whole thing would be all for naught.

His tone was sharp and mockful, "To a degree, they are right on me not knowing much more, but unless both you and kira bit the dust at the same time, at the same age, without any of us catching wind, I've already found two very juicey pieces of information." I have don't believe I died, so dying here, or seeing death here, might show something, and I highly doubt this merry bunch would let him kill me even if he tried, Times have changed, I hold all the cards this time. Damien shook his head dismally at the commotion, a discerning look spreading across his face as he realised his magic seemed to be the only kind non-functioning. Ice caught onto this worry and latched on.
"Don't worry, in my experience the greatest weapon is a strong mind, not a tool." He began, beginning to boast his achievements, "Where I come from there was... a weapon. All those before me who came close to the weapon were destroyed by it, but through luck, or perhaps skill, I came to posses it, and using the tool, I succeeded in bringing down all of those who stood in my way. Then I destroyed it, moved away, and lived a life of... peace."
Damien smiled, "You trying to say that knowledge is more powerful than its applications."
"Exactly"
"Well thanks. I appreciate the sentiment, but I'm used to being a bigger player. I'll have to play back in magician until things change."
Damien looked around for Ice, but he seemed distracted. He stood transfixed, like a ghost had stumbled into the room and screamed his name, his true name. Trembling, he took his right arm, brought it to his mouth, and with one extended index finger pleaded Track for just one thing: Silence.

Alaster and Kira
As the crystal wall arose from the ground Alaster's muscles tensed, getting ready to fire. Kira intercepted, "Alaster, stop. We can handle Cryto easily but we don't know anything about this newcomer." Alaster looked at her, then smirked. The fire turned black, then seperated into dots, the dots latched onto the crystal and opened a hole in it, allowing Alaster to look at Cryto clearly. "Obviously, our friends are scared we might cause some disturbance. Understandable, I would wreck you and this place in seconds." Kira sighed, "Alaster, why don't you let me do the talking?" Alaster rolled his eyes and stepped back, Kira stepped forward, "Okay, Cryto. Obviously you don't understand much more than we do, you know you can't beat us, I imagine that you would've told us anything by now." The AIDA dots attached to the crystal left and returned to Alaster.
Kira looked at Alaster "Bit the dust? I have a dozen questions for that." Alaster pondered this, "And I have twenty-two possible solutions to each one, sixteen resulting hypotheses and counter-theorems, eight abstract speculations, a quadrilateral equation, two axioms, and a limerick." Kira giggled and turned away, "I'll explore a little. Don't blow anything up." She left, leaving Alaster alone. "Well..." Alaster said to the present company, "If I'm not going to prove how awesome I am then I suppose I should take my leave too." Alaster turned to Cryto and Alex, "I'll be watching you two..." Alaster turned to Oliver and snickered, then walked past Alex and into the crowd.

And now that he is gone, time for a juicey piece I've just discovered thanks to him." Cryto stood slightly away from the group so that everyone could see and hear him, "It seems that just because we are from the same world, it doesn't mean we are from the same time. Our good friend Alaster, still looks like a highschooler to me." He pointed to himself, "But I went to school with him, the same class, and later graduated and went on to college. I'm Twenty Three." Alex looked to Lucien and blinked in amazement. He hadn't thought of that before. Different time periods for those that came into this world from the same world. It was a little hard to grasp but Alex embraced the concept. It was a little unfortunate that Alaster was his high school self. Back then they had all been a little more reckless then and certain grudges and inhibitions had been instilled but over time they eventually got over them. Alex said to Lucien, "I'm in my twenties. You and I should be from the same general time period. You remember college, don't you?" He hoped that Alaster would get over his little fit and come to terms with Lucien. He remembered that that did eventually happen so he had good hopes for them.

Track walked deeper into the room, catching Ice's gesture. Track was probably the last person good ol' Icey boy wanted to see, but Track had to smiled as he walked. Normally when life handed him lemons, they had a tendency to explode and burst acid into his eyes and annoy him. But this was a non-explosive lemon, one that he could peel of and squeeze into any drink he wanted without fear of going blind. He planned to do so. He planned to conduct a beautiful cocktail with this; it would be no Shinigami Coffee, but in the afterlife anything would do.
"Ice, I can't believe it's you!" Track cheered with excitement, dashing to Ice with his arms outstretched. He wrapped them around the man in a manly man's man hug, with false joy. "Kill me once again, and I promise you're fucked. Fail to kill me, and you're fucked. Understand this." Track whispered discreetly into his ear, a smile still on his face. He then stepped back, his smile fading to show that he was serious.
Reunions are always fun.
Musei had judged the people and decided that he was there for a reason. He was obviously destined to aid God from this new universe in some way, and so to do so he would first have to introduce himself. He said a single Hail Mary before dropping from the ceiling, his wings wrapping around him as he landed, raven-like wings fluttering everywhere. From the crouching position he slowly got to his feet, looking around him.

He looked into Track's all too familiar eyes and whispered what was mostly truth, "I destroyed the note. That was always my intention, but I had to destroy the evidence as well. I'm sorry, truly, and you'll get your revenge by the time this is over, but for now I need your abilities if we're going to solve this mystery."
Ice turned to the group, "Everybody, this is Track. He's a detective from my world, a very skilled one. He's going to be joining us in trying to figure out what's going on here. T, this is Oliver, Aggie, Damien, Annita, Nayiana, this one's Cryto. To re-cap, we've deduced that we're all from different worlds and must be here for a reason, elementary to you, but Aggie just asked a good question: How can we understand one another?"
He briefly turned back to face Track, "Thank you."
Damien studied Ice talking to Track.
How odd. Ice has a distinct aura not unlike magic, something very powerful, but subtle... He's also awfully good at remembering names... His friend's aura seems... Angry. Vindictive even.
he stepped forwards, "Pleased to meet you Track. Forgive me if I'm wrong but, those aren't your real names are they?"

"Also..." Oliver added. "That not all of the people we meet here and that are from the same worlds are necessarily from the same time. So we likely were brought here for a reason which includes why would they want us, at the exact same times as we left." Oliver put a hand on his chin, thinking. "Which does also bring up the thought of why would anyone want me in my current state, in theory, wouldn't it be better if they got me once i became older and turned into a better mage? Unless...I died." That last part seemed more like an affirmation than a theory, but Oliver shook his head and continued. "Neverthless, "grumpy one" just now also made me realize something important, we're not the only ones in this world, i'm sure that you also have met up with other inhabitants from around these parts, no? I think one of our top priorities should be to go and ask them what they know."
Nayiana shrugged, lightly scratching her cheek and baring her fangs for a moment before starting. "Nyaaahhh...You guys are all too focused as to the "why we got here", shouldn't we try to focus rather on the "how are we going to live here"? I mean, we don't know anything about this world, what we can do in it, what we can't do in it, what we shouldn't do in it" Her eyes got suddenly serious, assuming cat-like features and giving off an uneasy feeling to those that were looking. "What would be the consequences..." Her features returned to normal as she continued. "We should ask the others about that too, nyah?"
Annita scratched the back of her head. "Va bene, summing up, we should find out how this world works, why are we here and how can we understand each other, although i guess that falls under how this world works..." She stopped for a moment to think. "Also, i want to check something, does any of you know of a place called Rome, i'm from there." She stopped for a moment, considering the possibility of different times. "Last time i remember checking it was the year of 1501, after the death of christ." She looked around at everyone. Why are you sharing such information...? I'd feel better if i wasn't the only one from my world. What are you hoping for? Bonding? Please... Just...Look, there's no harm in asking, bene?

Ice nodded to Annita, "In our world there is a place called Rome, though it was a good five hundred years later for us and we lived much further east than there. I'm not sure if that necessarily makes our worlds the same, but an interesting development all the same. Rome is hardly the highlight of my knowledge, so I'm not sure if we can compare notes... "You're right, they're not. We... Well I don't fully know wha-..." Track glanced at Ice.
A notebook...? What's he talking about? He decided not to tell the truth and pretend he knew what he had been doing in his world.
"...We were doing very discreet operations, so... We were forced to adopt aliases. As for why we can understand eachother... I would imagine we're talking our own language and this... "Afterlife" is somehow translating it to the language that each of our individual ears can understand? Or maybe there's a single language here and while we think we're talking our language, it's actually being translated into this 'general tongue'. Really no way to make sense of this but I'd imagine this is more than a simple "Heaven" or "Hell", since if that were the case there'd be countless trillions of people here. It seems we have been chosen for something, us, rather than everyone else who's died in the world." As Track finished talking, he drew an all too familiar chess piece from his pocket; the black knight piece which had cuts and scrapes and chunks driven into its wooden shell, dried blood dotting parts of it. It was a disturbing thought. As Track began to roll it around in his palm, he noticed another familiar face.
K-Kira... He thought to himself as the Kira in his mind returned once more, standing at the back wall of the room. Still he had no idea what Kira was, but... Seeing that face reminded him of the name.

Aggie had spent most of the conversation not really paying attention, but instead seemed to be toying with her purse, pulling random objects in and out. It wasn't that she wasn't interested in the conversation, or that she didn't deem it important, but rather that she was becoming increasingly irritated with the warped nature of magic in Rorrim. Her purse, which had never exhibited such odd behavior on Alsta, had suddenly decided that it had a bit of an artistic soul. As with her clothes and towel, everything that came out of it was the wrong color, and it changed each time. She started with a simple hairbrush, one which she remembered being simple polished wood. The first time she pulled it out, it was a dark red. Then it was bright yellow. Then a tasteless hot pink. And then it was hideous, cringe-inducing plaid. Her other belongings had similar symptoms. She decided it could be worse,. Nothing had shown any signs of becoming self aware or explosive.
Her ears perked up when she heard her name, bringing her back into the conversation.
"Me, I don't buy the whole 'afterlife' thing either. One's own death is a once in a lifetime event, after all. You'd think I'd remember it. Besides, I'm too young and adorable to die," Aggie grinned and stood up with a little hop. She cleared her throat and started pacing, "We're being toyed with. Our memories are being repressed, our perceptions are being altered. If we're being translated for, who knows what else is being quietly slipped into our heads," She motioned back towards the room she changed in, "I just had a brief but meaningful conversation about the nature of reality with a rabbit up there. I don't think I'm insane... not just yet."
She stopped in the middle of the room and began tottering on the balls of her feet, "Maybe I'm just being paranoid, but I've seen too much bad magic to take anything so improbable as 'Hi! You're dead, welcome to Heaven!' at face value. I'll say this, though. If our host doesn't show up soon, I say at least a few of us should go out looking. We can't act without knowledge, and we'll learn more about this 'afterlife' by seeing and doing then by having some windbag talk at us for an hour, anyway."
Despite the problems with her magic and the nagging suspicion that the whole situation was one big, overwrought con, Aggie was excited. She vaguely remembered something she had to do at home, but she swatted it away. There were new people to meet, exotic sights to see, luxurious accommodations, and even a little mystery to solve. Sort of like a theme vacation, she thought.

Ice rolled on his feet lightly, "One more obvious, but less likely, scenario is that we are all speaking the same language. I've heard words spoken that I have absolutely no understanding of, but that must be meaningful. If something was translating for us I would be able to say something like "Shinigami" and you would all know what it means. If you do not know what it means then nothing is being translated, or that word simply doesn't exist in your language. Suppose we have two nations with opposing languages, you go from your nation to the other and find you can understand the people there. Which is more logical, that something is translating, or that you were never speaking different languages to begin with? We should explore all possible hypothesis before limiting ourselves to one. Sometimes the most ludicrous shoe is the one that fits."
Ice briefly turned to Aggie, "Didn't you mention something about a fish being in our ears? Is that a common saying in your world?"

Alex had almost laughed out loud when he heard the mention of a fish being in their ears when the topic was on why everyone could understand each other. There was a slight possibility, however small that was, that there was a fish in their ears translating things for them. After waking up in his character's body he'd believe almost everything at this point in time. He kept his mind open to the possibilities. They all appeared to be speaking the same language and figuring out why exactly. Several theories had been presented and Alex liked the one that each of them had their languages translated into one. "What if there are multiple groups that have their languages translated into another one than the one that we are speaking together? We don't know for certain if there is [/b[one[b] universal language. I'm just throwing the possibility up there. Though, I'm not certain of its relevance," Alex added to the discussion.

Ice scoffed, he approached Cryto boldly and shook his head, "You think you know how we work." He began in his usual to-the-point tone, "And to an extent that is how we work, but there were two men. One of them carried a weapon of mass destruction, and the other one threatened to blow up Tokyo. Locked in a room, chased by police, and operating by our own codes while working alongside both of these men but not knowing exactly who they were, we brought them down. I don't mean to boast, but respect is deserved. I'm sure everyone here has done amazing things, but to say we're detectives is a tad of an understatement. We're more like if James Bond played minesweeper but with real mines."
He looked back to Track, "My friend here is the most dangerous enemy you could ever make, and the most loyal of allies."
Ice paused, scratching his head through the smiley mask, "You have heard of James Bond, haven't you? And Minesweeper? Communication is going to be hard..."

((OOC: Damn, this is getting me back into the Track groove.

))
Track simply squinted his eyes at the man and yawned,
"Believe what you will. Ice here... He's a cold blooded killer when the action starts." Track glanced at Ice out of the corner of his eye.
What kind of shit did we get up to? Mass destructive weapons? "Honestly I can't take too much credit for all of that; I'm happy with being known (or rather unknown) as the guy who executed a nuclear terrorist, saving Ice at the same time." Track looked down at his shoes.
Boy do I regret doing that... Still, Track found Ice's description to be odd, yet... Correct in its own way.
"Know that by not trusting us you have done one of two things; you've either saved your life... Or ended it. Nobody knows which you've done though, nor will they know. Not until the end when you either walk away unscathed, or don't walk away at all. Of course..." Track stopped rolling his chess piece and grinned.
"The same could be said if you had chosen to trust us."

OOC: Man, I am sooooooooo late for this party.
IC:
"3... 7... 5... 6... 4... " chanted the clearly inebriated detective to the cow. "And that is how I... I caught that serial killer.
Jin took another swing out his bottle of whisky. He leaned to the side, and more a moment, it looked like he was going to fall down, but he grabbed hold of the fence to regain his balance. The alcohol did a number on his motor system. "Fuck..." he continued, occasionally puasing as he stumbled over his speech, ranting about something else.
Jin was interupted however at the sound of someone calling his name.
"There you are Mr. Jin," exclaimed a man Jin didn't recognize as he walked up to him. "Out here drinking and talking to the farm animals again huh? Just thought I'd tell you theres a meeting of people just like you over at the club right now."
"Is that your way of cheering me up?!" slurred Jin, as he attempted to make the movements to walk. "These cows are... are better company than.... than... anyone in this... this... dump!"
"Now, now," replied the other man in a rather patronizing way, as he began pushing Jin in the other direction. "You've been very patient with us Mr. Jin, and now you're going to get all the answers you're looking for."
It wasn't long before the roudy atmosphere of the club was interupted as the sound of the door slamming open echoed through the room. There at the entrance was Jin, of course, drinking out of his whisky bottle. He took a long gulp, and wiped his mouth with his hand before stumbbling over to the nearest unoccupied table he could find.
"Fuck, why does the nearest seat have to be all the way over in the fucking back?!"
Eventually, after what seemed like hours to him, Jin took a seat at the table next to the detective table, and planted his face into the hard, cold wood as if he had just passed out on the spot.

Alaster and Kira
For the past few hours Alaster and Kira tried to gather information about where they were, but most of the people either weren't paying attention or just told them what they already knew. Weary, Alaster decided to reunite with Kira.
"Learn anything?" Kira was sitting against a wall, with new dual daggers strapped to the small of her back, she sighed, "No. Not at all." Alaster crossed his arms in frustration, "So that means we haven't really gotten anywhere."
"Well, from Cryto being here we know that some people here are in our situation, or at least one similar to it. Though, what he said about biting the dust is still confusing because we didn't die and I'm pretty sure he didn't either."
"Your effectiveness in pointing out the obvious is charming."
"Shut up. Whatever or whoever brought us here must've had a purpose in doing so."
"Or maybe it's just a mindless force of nature that gathers random people from every which way for no real reason."
"Regardless, I think we've gotten just about all we could gather from this place, we aren't going to get back if we just stay here. Let's get out of here."
Alaster nodded, and helped Kira up. "The front door's all the way up there, and I don't feel like walking." Alaster made elaborate gestures with his hand, "Vak Don!" Alaster shouted, his hands lit aflame and he shot a fireball into the wall, which disintegrated into several tiny pieces, taking a few people who were standing near it too. "Let's get out of here."

OOC: Need to keep this going.
IC:
It seemed rather strange to Alex the way that Alaster and Kira were acting but it was a very probable theory that they had come from different timelines if they had come from the same world. Memories that would have been instilled at critical moments were no longer there and past experiences had now simply not happened yet. In some instances that sort of memory loss or however you wanted to put it could be fatal. Alex did not want that at all for the friends that he had come to know. At least Lucien was from a similar point in time that Alex had come from. He had to be grateful for having at least that much in this world where nothing makes sense, that people came from different worlds and times, that he was stuck in his character's body. It was probably safe to assume that he had the same abilities as his character as well considering he had the weapons he had acquired through playing the game. When Alaster and Kira left in a rather unpleasant manner Alex looked to the group, "I'm going after them," he sighed, "Someone needs to talk a little sense into them." With that he ran out after them.
Judging from the way they left Alaster was feeling powerful for once. He was able to use the skills his character had learned for himself and bring them into reality. If this was the case then maybe Alaster wasn't treating this as a reality they'd have to live in. He maybe even assumed that all the people around them were akin to NPC's and were disposable. No CC Corp. admins would be able to come and intervene in this case. No rules, no limits. Those two thoughts together could become dangerous. It might cause some to start and have a god complex when they are suddenly handed power when they had previously had none. He got to Alaster and said to him harsher than he had intended, "What are you doing? Do you think this is some kind of game? Do you feel that because you now have the abilities of your character that you can simply do anything you want? Huh!? Look I'm probably just as confused as you, but that gives you no right to go about destroying things simply because you can!"

?????
"Why shouldn't he destroy it? I've heard a rumour that goes along the lines of 'kill everyone else to be freed from this world.'" A tall well dressed man with a white top hat approached Alex and Alaster, "Pardon the inturruption, I just haven't seen anyone just throw their powers around so lightly before." The man bowed slightly, "The name is Degoth, A pleasure to make your aquantances." He opened an eye and gazed deeply at the small group, "Would I be wrong to guess that you want answers about this world? Hmmmmmm?" His voice was rather calm, and he wore an eeiry smile after asking his question.
Lucian/Cryto
"James bond and minesweeper eh?" Cryto gazed at the smiling mask, not to much avail as it wouldn't give him any clues on weither he was bluffing or not. "No matter who I trust here, there is a high chance of life or death, But just because I don't trust you, doesn't mean I wont work with you." Lucian smirked and spoke distastfully, "If you are like bond, you should be the ones to find out what is going on here, and for what thats worth, it gives me hope." and then, like a change of person, he chuckled "Plus I'd rather die then look like hopeless like that guy." He pointed towards Jin, who was lying on his face motionless.

A faint chuckle could be heard a table away. No one could see anyone chuckle, but from the way Jin was moving, and the proximity of the noise, it was reasonable to assume he found something amusing about Crypto's comment.
"Rather die huh?" he remarked, as he slowly turned his face their direction, head still on the table. "Well, you've already accomplished your little goal there boy."

Ice glared at the man, "Not everyone here is dead. That's simply impossible. It's hard to explain, but I would definitely know if I was dead... Definitely... It's not the kind of thing you forget"

"And brain injuries aren't the type of thing people remember. Soooooo what?" slurred Jin as he replied to the masked man. He attempted to sit up, but sluggishly fell back in his chair. "And you might wanna adjust your definition of impossible there pal. From where I'm from, it was 'impossible' to cause things to spontaneously combust, but here we are!"
Jin paused again, covering his mouth as to hide a silent burp before continuing. "But hey, Mister Smarty-pants. Proove me wrong. Care to give me a detailed summary on how you got to this dump?"

Ice chuckled, "I'll give you my argument. Suppose that you could accurately set in motion your own death, say, by illness." he glanced at Track, smiling beneath his mask. "One day you wake up and you're told you've died, but you never remember being ill. Everyone else here could have died randomly, but my death should have been long and drawn out and absolutely unforgettable. I find it hard to believe I've forgotten several months or years of my life without changing appearance much." He explained concisely before stopping for breath, " How did I accurately set in motion my death? Maybe I'll let you know sometime. Maybe I have died, I just think it's unlikely."
