X-M-O
The ??? Theme sounds great. =D
Very peaceful; melodic.

The Castle is very short, but really cool. ^^
Definitely resembles a castle (organ compositions are generally easy to place in a castle theme). =D
mrhawi
Thanks for the feedback, here more character themes:

Camille Theme: She is a rival from the main char of the game, arrogant but serious ( i tried to make the song inspired on that 2 things xD)

Bane Theme: He is one of the main heroes in my game, leader of a thief band (and the "funny" character of the game).

I hope that you like it.
X-M-O
I love the Camille Theme. Almost dark, but still at a great tempo. =D

You've definitely got the theme right for the Bane Theme song. happy.gif
Sounds a little "funny", and I love the crescendo made with the piano (almost jazzy). wink.gif
Fateliante
Hey mrhawi! So before I write a review to your songs, the Final Fantasy 8 - Ultimecia's Castle remix is pretty good, not 100% exact, but still a great effort considering Uematsu's compositions are quite difficult to remake and in my opinion, Nobuo Uematsu's composition offer a great inspiration and are one of the best to take reference from in terms of writing good video game compositions! Much kudos! happy.gif

So after listening to some of your music, I can definitely say that this is great quality music to use for most video games. A lot of the music produced has many different emotions and feelings put into the music, it's not always generic and one-dimensional as if someone was to compose something based on one string of thought or emotion. It can only work for so long. Not trying to intentionally shower you with praise, but your music demonstrates a plethora of all sorts of drama interpreted in your music. There are themes that have a happy, sad, serious, dark and mysterious and a funny sense to it, Bane Theme is a strong example here when it comes to a more comical approach. Off topic, but it's hilarious and purely coincidental how I have a thief in my game who is also the band leader and the "funny yet doltish" major character too. lol tongue.gif

I enjoy listening to your music, and I can see you are continuing to grow to become a better composer.
Definitely looking forward to hearing more tracks. Keep it up! smile.gif
mrhawi
X-M-O: Thanks for the feedback, haha yeah, bane theme sounds jazzy XD, maybe its the crescendo on piano or the saxo sound.

Fateliante: Wow, thanks man for the comment, I'm flattered =O (because i think that you are a great musician (: ). Yeah, uematsu songs are great, it was very difficult for me to make that cover, but was fun. Im glad that you liked my music!, really and i aprecciate that you made your time to listen it. I'm waiting to hear more of your tunes.

Well here, 2 more themes:

Theme 5 (Remake)

Suspense and Fear (tribute to halloween)

Thanks again, i hope that you like it =]
Holder
'Suspense and Fear' is a really great atmospheric track, can just imagine entering a building or a new area with that playing.

Wow, thanks for the comment man, im glad that you like it =D.

Another Theme:

Un Aire Verde (Forest Theme)
X-M-O
Your Halloween theme is pretty good, but Un Aire Verde is magnificent! If only it were longer! =D
mrhawi
Thanks for the feedback, i aprecciate that =D.

2 new songs:

WorldMap Theme

Shop Theme

I hope that you like it =D
X-M-O
World Map Theme sounds like it came from The Legend of Zelda, lol. Very nice harp piece, by the way. =D
The last note seemed to be held a little bit longer than it should have though, maybe it's just me. ^^

Shop Theme is reminiscent of The Legend of Zelda as well, perhaps with just a slight bit of Super Mario 3 in there. wink.gif
Far too short though! D=
mrhawi
Thanks for the feedback X-M-O, yeah, the last note of the world map theme was a bit long, or started to sound too early, i cant figure it xD. And yes, for the shop theme i was inspired on a zelda song (i dont remember the song that i was inspired xD)

Another theme, another town:

Another Town

As name says, is a theme for a town, i hope that you like it =)
X-M-O
I absolutely love the tune for this one. happy.gif
But it's too short, lol. I'll have to listen to it over and over again just because it's too short. wink.gif
mrhawi
Thanks for comments X-M-O, and yes, some themes are really short, but its very difficult make a long song xD.

Here, another theme:

Battle Theme

I hope that you like it wink.gif
X-M-O
Yeah, it's true that it is difficult to make longer songs, but there's the challenge I'd love to have you accept. wink.gif
Just don't make a ten-minute song (unless it blows my mind, lol). tongue.gif

I like this latest Battle Theme. It has all of the correct elements, and it is long enough to enjoy a bit more than the shorter ones! =D

Perhaps add a "climax" in your battle theme songs somewhere (if done properly it will automatically extend the length of your songs). ^^
mrhawi
Wow X-M-O, thanks for the feedback and for the suggestion, i will try edit the song. I accept the challenge, someday i will try a song of 2 minutes XD.

Here, another try of battle theme =D:

Battle Theme 4

I Hope that you like it biggrin.gif
X-M-O
This last one sounds close to the previous one, at start, but quickly becomes its own melody. Very nicely done. =D
I think this is my favourite of your Battle Themes thus far. wink.gif

Keep it up! ^^
mrhawi
Oh! X-M-O, im glad that you liked it, thanks for the feedback.

Well, i was bored, so i made a cover of a MMX song:

Armored Armadillo Theme (Megaman X cover) - MrHawi

I hope that you like it biggrin.gif
X-M-O
Hey, that one loops well despite being short. Sounds great!
I love those old MMX games and music, so this is already a personal favourite, but I also love to hear remixes of these old songs. Nicely done. happy.gif
Do you plan on making a Spark Mandrill or Storm Eagle remix? =D
mrhawi
Thanks for the feedback X-M-O, wow spark mandrill theme is a difficult one, but now i will try to remake storm eagle theme =).

I made antoher cover:

Boomer Kuwanger (cover) - Megaman X

Same game, awesome ost, i hope that you like it =D
X-M-O
AH! I remember that song! XD
Very nicely done! I need to go find that old game and play it for the next 3,000 hours! tongue.gif

Anyway, I love this version of it; brings out the best, methinks. :3
As an added bonus, it is longer than 2 minutes! wink.gif
mrhawi
Wow, thanks for the feedback (I posted wrong link, but i fixed it), i took your suggestion and i made a cover of storm eagle theme =):

Storm Eagle Cover

I Hope that you like it =)
X-M-O
Sounds very cool, and very close to the original. ^^
You should add the sound of a screaming eagle in the background somewhere. wink.gif

I definitely like it! =D
Random fact: I use this theme song as the audio for one of my alarm clocks. tongue.gif
mrhawi
Yeah dude, storm eagle theme was one of the best themes on that game!

Well, i made another cover, this one is from Megaman 7, cloudman stage:

Cloudman Stage Cover

=)
X-M-O
Listening to this one is like reminiscing over all of those old times, but actually hearing it; nostalgic. ^^

Clearly done well. =D
I'm not sure what inspired this recent lot of Megaman music, but I like! wink.gif
mrhawi
haha, thanks for the comments X-M-O, I'm making these covers for 1 reason: I love megaman's soundtracks =D:

Another cover, this is from MM3, volt catfish stage:

Volt Catfish cover

=)
mrhawi
Another cover:

Cover:

King Castle (cover)

Original:

King Castle (Original)
mrhawi
New theme, this was composed and arranged by me and a friend:

Distortion

I Hope that you like it biggrin.gif
X-M-O
Volt Catfish was never really a favourite of mine, but you've done really well with it. ^^

King Castle is brilliant! Another favourite, but I like your version quite a bit. =D

Distortion is amazing; sounds like a cross between Donkey Kong, Mega Man, and Battle Toads. Very nicely composed. wink.gif
mrhawi
Thanks for the feedback =). here another song, this time an original one:

No Name Song

I Hope that you like it... =]
X-M-O
This one is really pretty.

I'd title it "Homecoming", but then I'm not sure what you would use it for, so that might not match your perspective of the song. o.o

It's very nice, and I love the fact that you made an original this time; it almost reminds me of a lullaby (which is why I think it could be called "Homecoming"). =D
mrhawi
Wow!, thanks X-M-O, i like that name for the song =).

Another theme here:

Theme without a name

Merry x-mas to all =)
mrhawi
Another theme:

Caos World

(song is larger than 1:00 xD) , i hope that you like it
X-M-O
Your "theme without a name" song sounds like a nostalgic dance that two long-lost lovers dream they once had; though in reality they never had such a time together. It's very pretty and is reminiscent of an old Mozart song that I can't recall the name of... =]

Chaos World ("Caos" is Spanish for "Chaos", in case anyone else was wondering) reminds me of a chaotic song from a recent Sonic game (Adventure 2 Battle comes to mind, though most of that music was rap-like). Anyway, great work with this one; especially making it longer than a minute. wink.gif
mrhawi
Ohhh, you are right is "Chaos World", sorry about the name... thanks for the feedback =).

Here, a cover from a theme of MMX5:

MMX5 Intro Stage (MrHawi's Cover)

The original is:

Original Song

I Hope That you like it =).
X-M-O
Your version of the MMX5 Intro Stage is really cool. A few things added in there that make it stand out from the original, but also staying true to the original in various ways, makes this one a keeper. wink.gif

And it's longer than two minutes! >:3
mrhawi
Thanks for the comment, x-m-o =D, im glad that you liked it.

HEre, another cover from the same game:

Sigma MMx5 MrHawi Cover

The Original is:

Original theme

=)
X-M-O
I like the change you made from the original, by switching to an electric guitar versus the other instruments the original used. =]
I think the original had better percussion though, as it had more variety in the percussion. wink.gif

Nice work overall! =D
mrhawi
Thanks for comment X-M-O, and yup, i guess the percussion is the hardest part (at least for me), here another composition:

Theme 5 V4

I've added a guitar solo, i hope that you like it xD
X-M-O
I like Theme 5 better than the previous Themes, and this specific version is perfect; nice guitar solo! happy.gif
mrhawi
Hi, after 1 month out i've returned with a new song:

Calm Calm Calm - MrHawi

I Hope that you like it =)
X-M-O
Wow, it has a very classical feel to it. happy.gif

I love it! =D

More like this - for sure - it's very melodic, and at one point almost sounds like a part from (GameBoy) Mario Land! :3
mrhawi
Hey ,thanks for the response, mario land 3 music its pretty good =).

Here another theme:

Un Regalo Olvidado (A forgotten gift)

I hope that you like it, =)
X-M-O
Oh cool! This sounds like a mixture between Zelda and Pokemon. Really pretty. happy.gif
mrhawi
Thanks X-M-O, i love the ost from that game, i'm glad that you liked it.

Here another battle theme:

Once You Touch The Wind

=)
NinthPulse
Good job! Love the music.
mrhawi
Wow thanks! =).

Another Theme;

untitled

=)
X-M-O
Wow, I really love this last theme you've posted. ^^
It has a "home" feeling and is just brilliant. =D
mrhawi
New theme, this time a boss battle theme:

tense battle
Fateliante
Very nicely done with your latest submission, mrhawi, it almost kinda reminds me of the boss battle theme Force Your Way from Final Fantasy VIII. This battle scene, believe it or not, would work perfect with a few scenes in my game. smile.gif
mrhawi
Wow, thanks for the comment fateliante, i'm waiting your game, because the OST that you made is great and i'm sure that you will make a theme better than mine for your battle =D.

Well, here is my first quartet;
My First Quartet

I Hope that you like it
