Description
Metal Gear Solid... The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past... two great games! Now fuse them and this could be the result!
This game which could be seen as a Metal Gear-game, uses graphical and game-mechanical similarities with The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past.

You don't have to be familiar with the Metal Gear-series to be able to jump into the action, but it'd be funnier though considering how packed with references to both game-series this sucker is.
Also, this is a comical game. Don't take everything too seriously, cause it's probably not.

Setting
You are Solid Snake - special ops agent, master of stealth and overcoming situations concerning huge, warhead-equipped robots.
The production of the menacing war robots 'Metal Gear' has surfaced over the world. Now part of the anti-Metal Gear group Philanthropy, you are dispatched to deal with a rumored Metal Gear said to be under development in the region of Mandora.

Will you - Snake, be able to stop this possible threat or will the bad guys have it their way?
Or more importantly, will you be home back for dinner?

Characters
Solid Snake
Retired special ops agent, now working for the anti-Metal Gear organization Philanthropy. He has history running into these war mechs and is more or less confident(or just determined) to bring 'em down.
Otacon
A scientist that got thrown into the Metal Gear arms race and ended up on Solid Snake's side. He acts as Solid Snake's mission control and is also a geek and formidable hacker.
Zack
Part of Solid Snake's support team to help him through the mission. He is explained as to help out in any way possible.
Regina
Another part of Solid Snake's support team. She is sent to act in Otacon's stead on the field to tackle any technological problems.

Legion
A vile organization that is only known by its name. It is rumored that they're developing a variation of Metal Gear and plan to use it some unknown(but bad) means.

Features
- You are Solid Snake
- The Legend of Zelda AlttP graphical-inspired world
- Metal Gear Solid/LoZ:AlttP gameplay hybrid
- Stealth-based sneaking ala Metal Gear
- Metal Gear Solid-series soundtrack

Approved for now, you still need to add Character Info and credits though. If you don't I'll move it down to Games Under Construction until you do,
[approving it now because it is pointless moving it for two sections.]

Alright, I think I've fixed the rest now. Enough of the info as well hopefully. I've also submitted the game to the site itself.

Does this require the RTP?

I'm a huge MGS fan and I was eager to try this but after reading the reviews, I'm a bit hesitant. Does this version of the release improve on the stealth elements or is it the same? If it improves, I'll definitely download it.

Nope, it should be independent.

Those reviews are pretty outdated. I've heavily improved the game based upon the first reactions, so I certainly hope it has taken a better turn. For details you can check the blog updates.
