You do! Excellent, here you go...
...oh yeah, there's a 2D option that you must use in order for it not to have long term damaging effects on your vision.
Yep that's true. Nintendo's released a warning about the 3DS. Though people don't seem that bothered.

"Since the Nintendo 3DS can be changed to 2D to avoid any effects on young children's vision, it is possible for anyone to enjoy playing it." But not of course 3D.
With that also:
QUOTE
"If your physical condition worsens or you become ill, please stop playing at once," .
At least they're taking steps to try to avoid problems in kids.

Nintendo is going as far as to include 3D parental controls for the Nintendo 3DS.
Though I know of a lot of parents that simply leave it to their child to switch it on, put a game in and get playing. I mean that's their primary market, kids and younger generations. Are they trying to hard to keep up with other advancements or are they trying to protect themselves for worst case scenarios?
It's said now that you're recommended to take a break every 30min whilst on a standard DS, so what's for the 3DS? Keeping in mind that you're eyes are being tricked and focusing so something that's not where you're seeing it as.
