Pre requisites

1. Only apply if you're known in the community. No first timers or people that've just signed up please. Basically, the higher your status then the better chances you have--Revolutionary or higher is preferred.
2. If you have a bad history or have many warns against you, then most likely you won't be hired. Please save yourself the trouble if this is the case.
3. Expertise with the RMXP engine and RGSS API are needed. You will have to offer support in your allocated forums.

What are we looking for in moderators?

1. You must be active as a moderator, failure to be active here will have a moderator fired more quickly than a moderator who is lazy.
2. Not only will moderators be moderators, but they will also be the managers of the community. As such, we expect all moderators to participate in most, if not all, the community events and staff events.
3. Moderators must behave responsibly for the people. Compassion and vigilance is what matters here.
4. Moderators must work with each other and the other staff/admins. This means moderators are to create harmony amongst the staff, and moderators must be willing to be open minded. Respect the decisions of the admins and work WITH them and not against them.
5. Moderators represent and shape the community, so all moderators are expected to uphold themselves well.

Your background & experience: Like i mentioned above, i have a little bit of experience with XP, also i am quite good with words and almost the entire time "Cheery and Upbeat" but that doesn't mean im irresponsible, and im on quite alot so i guess that backs up the fact that im not as good on XP but am willing to help with it a lot of the time
Why you want to fulfill this position: im always told to stop "Back-seat Moderating" so i think actually being a moderator means i can be helpful and correcting people without being rude and doing someone's job for them, that's not the only reason though, i want to be Moderator so i can help the site AND the people (Especially the forum im moderating)

Your background & experience:
I have answered and helped many people in the RPG Maker XP sections and I have almost 1,400 posts altogether. I've been a member since the beginning of '08 (So I'm starting in on my 4th year at RRR) and I know and recognize many of the monumental users that make RRR the community that it is. I've never really posted in any competitions due to the lack of knowledge, but I am confident enough now that I have improved in my RMXP skills. I even made a complete guide to what the RMXP events do! (Redd's Awesome Guide to - RMXP Event Commands)
I know enough about scripting to know how to fix minor errors and edit scripts in different ways, but in no form am I a fantastic scripter, not as well of as Night_Runner was. The best script that I've ever produced is probably that one man CMS I made a few months back, which was just an edit of the standard menu system. You can see that script HERE
I have never even touched VX, because $100 is a bit too much over my budget Plus, I'm not too fond of VX's graphics. I prefer to have my character's heads in proportion with their bodies

Why you want to fulfill this position:
The number one reason that I would like to fulfill this position is to help the users! I've been helped through many of my XP problems and I would like to give back as much as possible. I was a noob once too, that's where we all start out! And let me tell you, it is a lot easier to learn with help! Another reason why I would like this is so that I can be more active on the boards, I recently came back after a small break and I absolutely love the community, it is the best community to be at and it always has been! I'd love to hang around more. Even if I don't reach moderator status.

My timezone is:
Mountain Standard Time (US), and the current time is 8:14 PM
I should be on 4-8 PM on weekdays, since I have school and homework and such, but I usually stay awake in my bed on the internet until 12-2 AM on the internet. Fridays I am free 4:00 PM to usually 2:00 AM. Saturday's are pretty much free, but I have a life so I hang out with friends for a few hours on Saturdays. Sunday is never an exact schedule, since I have church and other church related activities. I will try to make it on whenever possible though.

I've been a member here for some time and both some new and old members know me as the magazine creator. I am a really skilled XP user and I have a decent experience with scripts, yet I can't script myself. I once was the magazine's forum moderator so I know a few things about it!

Why do I want to fulfill this position:
Well, helping others is one of my wants around here but I also feel oldie enough to give something back to RRR since my RRR magazine time wasn't that shiny...

My timezone is:
Europe/Athens (GR), and the current time is 03:25 A.M
I can be active for 5 to 7 days a week, from 11:00 in the morning to 4 A.M.

Background and Experience:
I have a fair bit of experience with the rpg makers. Currently constructing 2 serious projects and have managed to complete a full game on these forums. Being quite active, I generally take part in playing and reviewing completed games and some long demos if people contact me then I give feedback. After being part of RRR community for sometime, I understand how things work to a certain extent...

Why I want to fulfil the position:
Well, I feel I can contribute well to these forums if I have the chance. I lack experience with moderating forums so this will be my first time but I can only do my best. I also want to help others in these forums and I think that I could do that easier as a moderator.

er..um.. i'm not sure what your asking here. I've never modded *successful* forums, but i was in a team that almost brought one up.

Since it appears that many people don't really read the announcement in full, let me translate it for you, in beg red letters.

We want a scripter used to RMXP. Nothing more, nothing less.

i did read it. yes, i can do some XP Scripting Stuff, just not as much as VX.



I mean, if there are no Scripters that are great with RMXP, having someone who knows SOME about it is better then nothing, right?
