This wouldn't be the section to ask something like that.
I'm moving this over to the General Game Engines Discussion.

Yes please use the edit button in future.
FM 2k3 didn't catch on that much at all, rather than that I'd recommend MUGEN, as there is more resources and support available out there for it.

I'm not aware of any engine that can create something to be used with the Wii, the closest is for the XBox 360 indie game.

I've also not heard about that game you mentioned and all I could find on YouTube was a music track. Some more information might help here.

Okay the description on that video reads:

Read this before watching the vid:

THIS IS NOT MUGEN OR WII WARE OR ANYTHING LIKE THAT
IT IS A FREE GAME MADE BY POKESHO
STOP ASKING WHAT THIS IS
Also, congrats on actually reading the description.

So from that I can only gather that if this is the sort of thing you're wanting to do then MUGEN would be the way to go, however saying that I wouldn't expect to find resources like that to be available.
It'd be something that you'd personally have to do or find someone willing to assist you.

Ok,soo im new at this and you seem to know what your doing care to help...?
seliphail
GameMaker7 (free version) can sort of do Pokemon, though it isn't quite as in-depth.

RMXP and RMVX can do it with a bit of scripting and some work, but it's not difficult there either. The most difficult part would probably be the sprites...

That new one that's coming out in beta soon could probably do a Pokemon game with ease, but don't quote me on that. lol.

I'm sorry but I've not got a lot of spare time on my hands, your best bet would be to explore your options, see what you and your friends are able to do/learn and go from there.
