Hey everyone! Ever since I first got into this series, I always wondered if anyone had ever taken the time to code the PS versions of the series into CPU... Let me know if you find the awnser!
Kread-EX
Let me rephrase to see if I understand: you'd like the Playstation version of RPG Maker on your PC?
Oaken
Yeah, more or less!
Kread-EX
I doubt that anybody converted them. The sales were pretty bad overall so Enterbrain wouldn't do it. Additionally, programming for PlayStation (even more for PS2) is different than programming from Windows: first, the PS processor architecture is a MIPS and not a x86. Secondly, the executable format is really different.
That's why emulators exist.

Hrmmm, So if you were to emulate the game into the windows format, and make a game... Then culd anyone play it or would it only be someone with an emulator

It's a playstation game, so of course it'd only be for people with an emulator.

You should really include "RPG Maker" in the title or your original post, as before Kread-Ex asked, it wasn't clear what you were talking about.

Alright! Thank you for the help... I was afraid of that.

My bad for forgetting the RPG in the title, I really don't do late nights like what I was doing then! tongue.gif
