Well this is my second post on this fine forum (I fear I my first was an act of accidental necromancy). I've decided to post this thread is even though I have found a solution to my original problem (which had lead me to my aforementioned necromancy), I don't know if its the best solution. The problem in and of itself is that I had converted a Disgaea sprite to the SRPG unit format, however the visual errors . . . Well after googling about color pallets and such, I discovered 2 things: 1.) Paint.net isn't very helpful (to my knowledge) with the whole color pallet thing and 2.) that with some experimentation with Gimp I was able to transfer my sprite sheet to a premade sprite sheet from SRPG, pasting over it as a new layer, but using its color pallete instead of my original sprite sheet's. The result is this In other words I had succeeded, but are their easier ways to go about this (though I doubt this would to be hard to repeat minus the hair pulling mistakes)?

If converting it to SRPG format isn't strictly necessary, I'd go with converting it to a .png or something. What was the original format of the Diseaga sprite?
