Hello guys! I'm new in all this RPG maker stuff. I got RPG XP and for this game I'm trying to develop I want to create an introduction. You know just some animations to explain what's gonna happen in the game. the problems is that on all maps I create the same character shows up but I don't need the same one in all maps.... Is there anyway to change the main character from map to map?

"Transfer Player" on Tab 2 of the Event Input

^ WTF no.
The character showed on the map is the one at the top of your party, so you have to put your selected character first in your party list manually, in a transfer event.

thanks to both of you guys! I'll try that as soon as I get home.....Just one more question: Why can't I create events on the main character's list? if I right-click on the main character (the one with the "S" on the map) most of the options are gray out....why is that?

That's your players start position...

You also don't need to force change the first person in your party. Just use change player graphic to change the first players graphic to whoever as you go then change it back when your finished.

But when you'll open the menu or fight a battle you'll see the old name and parameters with the new sprite.
