Explorations v9.0 is moving forward with its first community game design project. This project purpose: to design a simple tavern with Explorations. The tavern design will include real-time sprites, action and events. Life-like A.I. of patrons as they enter and leave the tavern. Dialog, gossip and rumors in real-time that demonstrate that *you* are not the center of your rpg world. You have to eavesdrop to learn clues tips and tricks. Time based scripting allows for an entire day (life-cycle) of a functional tavern to be included within your game.

This build exercise is open to all users interested in Explorations. It will provide new how-to videos, sample scripts, and tutorials to help users get more familiar with this powerful editor. This build exercise will be limited to a tavern and small sewer and will document scripting techniques, and various methods for incorporating maximum NPC interaction within the editor. But the most important thing to remember, Ev9.0 is on sale (50% off) until 12/31/2010.

Feel free to drop in. There are no flames, or immature people allowed. We are building this to learn, improve, and most of all have fun. No questions are considered "dumb". I am here to help share in the development. After this build is complete, the entire scenario can be exported and shared as a .ESCR object. Based on the results, I will attempt to organize another build project, possibly centering around real-time, turn-based, and phased based combat systems. (I'll let the *users* decide.)
