Hay im using RPG Maker XP and im about a 1/4 way though a puzzle RPG just to teach myself how to use it.

The problem is with some events the text will display twice. Straight after one another.

This is the code in one of the events where the problem persists.

This is just one of the events and there is nothing similar with the other events that have the problem so im wondering if anyone else has encountered such issue.

As you can see the Exit Event Processing command did nothing to solve the issue and i can't determine why its happening.
Am i missing something simple?

I've looked around a bit and I can't find others with this problem.

Any help at all is very appreciated.

You could put in a self switch at the end and on page two set self switch a/b/c/d/whatever self switch you set to ON and have that page with nothing. You already have two pages in that event, just add a self switch, less you tried to do the same thing with the switch that's shown, but it be better with a self switch as what you have isn't really telling it to 'go to page 2'

Hay thanks for the switch idea it led to me fixing the problem

After extensive testing I found that I didn't need 4 events on the spring as the top 2 GFX for it were on top so i would trigger 2 events at once if I pressed A button while at the top of the spring.

Took away the un-necessary events and the problems fixed
