The World Map

((The map will change. For now, I will post this one.))

Letter found beside a burned corpse. It's retriever anonymous...
It has been three years since Alsta's downfall. The Magus sought the destruction of the main cities to build and bank off of worldwide slavery. Who knew their operations took place underneath the land of Welstram. With such power, they would be able to control other planets as well, seizing universal order. People are still convinced the Magus clan are their saviors. A regime, created by many different sorcerors who support the Magus clan, formed together to establish...The Descendents. Their leader Rudolph Frederic Edgoth...otherwise known as Edgoth, demi-god of the north, is the most powerful successor of the original founder of the Magus Clan...They work to continue the Magus Clan's rule for domination. Sadly, however...our previous heroes have gone missing. A'Sia, now the leader of a revolutionary group named "Purity" has been the only one known to take action against them...she is losing. The Descendents are growing in numbers...and the world is changing before our very own eyes. The original plan of the Magus is about to be completed. These are the darkest of times. Though people don't realize it...they are being drained of their wealth, sanity, and compassion. There have already been many riots happening all around the world. People still continue to pray for the return of the Magus to come and save them...They are being misled...I weep because they are unaware...I haven't gotten a good look at our previous heroes...but I pray for their return...Some would call this the end times...The scent of brimstone fills the air...Everywhere you go, its sky shifts into thick dark crimson and purple clouds, honing powerful storms that forces people into shelter. What are they doing!? As I write this...the led of this utensil also weeps. The small candle that guides my hand on this pad is beginning to fade...Food and water is scarce...I hear people outside...Their whispers, their shouts, and fighting...scares me...I'm afraid to venture outside...in fear of getting mugged or killed...Oh dear goddess, Forastara...shine light back upon this world...for I remember it with sunshine and rainbows, before their stinch decayed our beautiful flowers...Please...dear goddess...I wish this letter to reach out to the entire world...Where have they gone? where must they be? Wait...I hear banging on my door! They look to raid my home! They are chopping at the wood with their axes and swords! I...I can't write anymore...I must hurry! Please Forastara...help us all!

Letter written by popular Diagan author, Miss Gusch

After Miss Gusch's final note was published, it sparked a commotion among those who believed the Descendents along with the Magus clan to be corrupted, exposing their plans with the sudden construction of those hideous towers. Rudolph Frederic Edgoth, founder of the Descendents, called for a worldwide gathering at the Court of the Nine Circles, located far north of the Denmarie ruins, to "talk" about the issue. There they intend to persuade the people with a massive mind control spell, that the six lieutenants of the Descendents could control. While the gathering is taking place, each spire created will build enough energy until it explodes, sending that energy to the next spire. Sadly, no one knows their true motive but that. Also, while they give their speech at the assembly, Vergo, the Second Tactician, plans on keeping A'Sia and her force busy with a few of his squads. Keeping A'Sia from attending is his top priority.

Rules
No godmoding characters, don't create a character that cannot get hurt.

No magic blasting, the characters need to rest every so often depending on the spells effects and range.

Do not control another user's character without permission, ask first and make sure to follow the characters personality to the best of your ability.

If you have to leave for some reason, please try to make sure you had your character over to someone else to control while you're away.
Otherwise, that character might be killed.

At max, I'll allow 3 important characters to each member, you can create NPC's for anyone to use.

There are 3 different races you can choose from.

Remalare: (Rem-a-lair)
A pale blue skinned humanoid, usually with silver or grey hair. Their ears stick out and hang down. The race has more female than male important figures and their 15 greatest fighters are also more likely to be taught the way of ice magic rather than anyone else in their kingdom.
Remalare live extended lives, an extra 100 years similar to Elves, their appearance often stops ageing at 50-60, an age of wisdom and experience.

Diagan: (Dee-a-gan)
A beast-like humanoid creature, their large size and muscular figures put fear into their enemies, although in actuality, they are quite peaceful and only produce one type of weapon, steel claws, even then, they are mainly used for the cutting of plants and catching their food.
Diagan that leave their homeland often learn to use other weapons, although they are forbidden to return to their homeland unless the Diagan kind are involved in a war.

Human:
Human are noble and strict people, unforgiving and trapped by their own greatness and fear.
Most humans in Welstarm live in some form of nobility, with very little poverty, the kingdom is regarded to be one of the most financially advanced compared to the others of the human race.
At the same time, making it a worthwhile target for raids

Important Locations
Welstarm :
The kingdom that was cursed into stone.
Only a few now know the secret buried under its land.

Silishala:
Once at war with Welstarm, now control Welstarm's gold mines.
It is one of the few kingdoms that hasn't been destroyed by the spires. It is also one of the richest
that houses power and corruption within its walls.

Ordelia
One of the richest cities in Alsta, also home of Rudolph Edgoth.
The residential district surrounds a huge sphere, located in the middle of the city.
No one knows the sphere's meaning. Unlike the rest of Alsta, there is a very low crime rate here.
It is quiet, lively, and peaceful. Yet, the stinch of evil lurks somewhere...

The Hill of Burden
A hill as tall as any mountain, that overlooks a village at its base.
It's name come from legendary Remelare, Yoldeseus, the Burden. Known for his controversial artwork
of the Magus's corruption, he was thrown over the hill and died within the village below.

Polkuru
The village that rests under the Hill of Burden. Its residents know the truth behind the Magus
thanks to their famous artist, Yoldeseus. The village is poor and relies on a huge
fire at the center of the square for light. It is known to house both the kind and thieves

Court of the Nine Circles
Was thought to be the place where gods, godesses, and humans alike go to justify corruption in Alsta.
It houses one large altar at the center, that can stand above all in the audience.
The crowds are seated around the podium. Its capacity is unbelievable.

Magic power is created through the power of the dead, each persons spirit is blessed with great power after death in hopes of that they might one day, fight again in another life.

Magic information
Magical users need to first create a life deal with the spirits of the dead, the life deal basically shortens the life of the living person in return for greater power, the spirit is free to refuse the deal.
The deal starter will lose 20 years from their life unless they are killed if the person is killed, they are forced into hell, however the ability to create fires and cause thunderstorms are often more valuable to some.
The user will require breaks after using their spirits powers, and their body is market with a small seal on their wrists or necks to prove they are in a deal.
Smaller spells require a single word to use and a larger one may require a passage from a book.
Useage of both often mean breaks afterwards.
There are stories of deaths caused by exhaustion from not resting.

Some people are able to use the spirit power without a life deal, those that can are often branded as children of hell and devils, their skill is often stronger and greater.
Most leave their homes and leave to the mountains in fear of being hated due to the horrible side effects that their unknown power causes them, usually strange mutations.

Gods and Godesses

Each race has their own personal religion and Gods.

Garvoras, the Godess of the Dragons and Silver.
Godess to the Remalare people.

Randelius, the First God of War and Hammers, created the First Being in his own likeness, although, in storytelling, the First being is redesigned to look like a member of whichever race is telling the story.
God of the humans.

Gervaros, the God of creation and gold, said to be the creator of the world and royalty, although there is much debate in the community of scholars and wisemen.
Said to be god of all, and also said to be fabricated.

Forastara , the Godess of life and birth, said to be the Creator of the world and its people.
Godess of the Diagan people.

Other
Ruined ones:
Not a true race, but rather a group of changed beings, once peaceful people, now large golem type beings in an eternal berserker rage. Rarely do they stop when they see something they want to kill.
There is no known reasoning for why the people became the Ruined Ones, only that it may have happened by way of Uxire, the keeper of the Dead, an alternate reason could be they are the Underground Shadows, a race of monsters or people that were lost ages ago.
They have huge muscular bodies, their skin is like some kind of leather, cutting into it is very difficult, arrows snap and swords crack.
Magic is the best weapon against these beast's.
Very few have been known to be killed, approxomitly, 7 heads have been claimed from the 54 that are known to be living.
Lately there have been sightings of multiple Ruined Ones travelling in groups. This information has not yet been confirmed.

As the spire that enveloped the Diagan village where we last left them, they have been trapped for three years. Once their spire bursted, they travelled for months, developing their powers and strength along the way. Fatigue got the best of them, as they passed out. They were rescued by villagers from Polkuru. When our characters wake up they will all be inside the clinic. There, the rp will begin. Also characters new to Alsta will begin in Polkuru as well.

After the results of Welstarm's curse and his escape, he became a mage, taking his deceased butler, Jeeves as his spirit. He started learning how to control magic with Damien, one of his fellow survivors. And also quickly developed a crush on Dixie, another survivor, wich never really resulted in anything. During the long trip, he learned a lot about the world outside of his mansion and is still trying to adapt to it.
Personality: Whiny and hot-headed, he doesn't like being ordered around nor likes when he is ignored. However, he is a very persuasive person and is actually very clever, the thing is, usually he uses his qualities to bother other people or make either ironic or sinic comments. Since he started this journey, however, he slowly became a lot less sarcastic. Despite the party's constant sad and depressed mood he always tries to act positive.
Life deal spirit name: Jillard Warpon (Jeeves). Oliver's pact tatoo has the shape of a long thorned rose starting at his shoulder and blooming at his palm. ___

Full Name: Akriloth Von Drawain
Nickname: Akriloth
Race: Diagan
Age: 23
Appearance:
Despite the fact he's a diagan, he carries many similarities to humans, the characteristics that give out his true origins are his lizard-like red eyes and sharp teeth and tongue. Also, hidden below the armour, his body is completely covered in scales from neck to below, his left arm has his pact mark, a dragon stretching down from his shoulder to the palm of his hand.
Job: None, wanderer.
Weapon: Two-handed longsword, also, his gauntlets were specially designed to also work as claws.
Background: Back to when he was small, dragons were on the brink of extinction, one of the few survivors, a fire dragon name Pyrodom, was hidden in the top of a volcano, Akriloth's parents alongside with a few of their friends, gathered up in that volcano to protect Pyrodom from hunters (I was planning on having dragon scales be very worthy items, he reason why they would have been hunted to extinction was to obtain their scales, teeth and their "fire-breathing" organ wich i dunno if it has a name, wich would be very precious for making armors, weapons and several other things.) A big group of well-armed bounty hunters rushed into the volcano, killed everyone that was trying to protect Pyrodom and then after a few losses, killed Pyrodom himself. Akriloth, however, survived, although he was small at the time, he managed to escape to a town near that volcano, the people there accepted him there and took care of him, that town however, was made up mostly of humans, Akriloth, being a Diagan, was looked down upon all of the others, except the couple who had adopted him. His adopted father was a mercenary, so he teached Akriloth how to fight and how to use armor since he was small, at the age of 16, Akriloth secretly performed a pact with the dragon that his real parents were trying to protect, Pyrodom, Pyrodom was lusting for revenge, and Akriloth wasn't exactly much of a friend of humanity at the time, Pyrodom convinced Akriloth to cleanse the world of human beings because they were "corrupt". Akriloth kept training swordsmanship with his adopted Dad, and trained magic in secrecy. When he turned 18, he easily dispatched of the small town's militia and then slaughtered the whole town. After looting what he found of value in the remains of the town, he proceeded to another nearby town, where he used his loot to buy himself the sword and armour he currently carries. He and Pyrodom are still plotting to "cleanse" the world, however, they both know that they're not strong enough for that just yet, so they came to Morento, in hopes of strenghtening Akriloth's magic with the help of the famous Xavier. After the events in Xavier's tower, Akriloth ended up joining the party because he thought that they would lead him to more powerful foes. He kept to himself, mostly, but tried to help the group as he could every now and then. He also found out about Oliver's ability to drain magic at will, wich he now sees as essential for his plans.
Personality: Hyper, distrustful, likes to be always moving, borderline insane, Pyrodom being the only one keeping him from losing it. He obeys everything that Pyrodom orders him to do, no matter his own personal thoughts. Despite not being exactly the brightest and colected person around, he finds it easy and enjoys to mess up with other people's heads.
Life deal spirit name: Pyrodom

I didn't put up Theodore because of the three character limit thing that you said and because, technically, it was Darkblade's character to begin with. If you'd all would rather me to still keep control over Theo, i suppose i could, Gracestine isn't likely to last too long on this, anyways.

Race:Human
Age:38 (3 years older than before)
Appearance: A muscular and tall man.
He wears a green jacket over a black shirt, on his right hand is a gauntlet.
He wears brown trousers and tough leather boots.
He has shoulder length messy red hair and a light beard.
appearance

Job: Royal Knight and captain of his unit.

In his time in the army, he’s visited multiple parts of the lands, his knowledge of the lands is unrivalled by many in his unit.
He fought in a war against a large clan of Remalare warriors, during the battle, several of his comrades died, their ghosts haunt his nightmares, daring him to make a spirit pact which he refuses to do.
Personality: Quick to temper and to fight he is a poor battle planner, his manner of speech seems rough, but he means well. He doesn’t judge people by looks. He is slow to trust people and sometimes a single mistake someone would make would throw any chance of a decent friendship out of the window. He will, on occasion harm himself in order to escape capture, which he did in Morento, removing a knife from his stomach which had been fused to his own skin.

QUOTE

Most things that happened during the previous chapter are still canon with this story.
Whether the ruined Guiders will appear again? Wait and see.

Well, its up to you, if you can handle him and the others go for it.
If not, don't worry.
Just have him as an NPC (Available for all to use whenever they need too)

Maybe we'll kill him off biggrin.gif
Damien would be one step closer to millions if he can get his hands back on those gold mines.
Milton Monday
Full Name: Agatha Christina Asimov
Nickname: Aggie
Race: Human
Age: 19
Appearance:
Crappy (and old) pencil sketch

She no longer has that jacket, by the way. She lost it ages ago, way back in Welstram. She left it in her locker at the Aventail, so it's now a jacket shaped rock.
Aggie is a slender young woman of average height. Her figure has filled out a bit, but her chest is still rather small. She has thick, unnaturally vibrant red hair that falls to her waist, and is usually worn up in two bushy tails on the sides of her head (again. Her hair has regrown to it's original length in the last three years). Her face is dominated by enormous, deep green eyes and a light dusting of freckles. She dresses modestly, often in a slightly over-sized sweater and knee-length skirt and stockings, and has a preference cool colors, particularly green. She keeps a broom strapped across her back. It's a normal broom (in less than stellar repair), but Aggie is hellbent on making it fly one day.
Job (such as it is): These days, just trying to keep herself and her friends alive. It's more than a full-time job, and the pay is lousy.
Weapon: Aggie's never had any battle training. She relies entirely on her magic, though if cornered, she swings a mean broom, and still has that knife she took off that pirate tucked in her purse, just in case.
Background: Aggie was raised at an orphanage, abandoned by her parents as an infant. She was an active child with an insatiable curiosity, frequently running away. During the last such episode, when she was fourteen years old, she was attacked by a monster and almost killed when her powers emerged, roasting the creature in a ball of fire. She decided to not go back, and took off into the wilderness. She was persecuted as a witch, until she met her mentor Bernard Goethe, who taught her to control her abilities and gave her a fake pact mark. For the next two years, she's been a wanderer, making a living by using her powers to do odd jobs and occasional charity from strangers. That ended when on a whim she decided to visit Welstram City, which turned out to be the biggest mistake of her young life. Since narrowly escaping Welstram, she's come into her own as a sorceress, and done a lot of growing up. She has vowed to crush the Magus clan after witnessing their cruelty from the inside, and has a personal vendetta against Xavier (I doubt we've seen the last of him). When last we saw her, she was posing as the Duchess of Welstram in order to try to use her considerable persuasive skills to gain allies for Welstram as well as direct attention away from the real duke and crown prince. That plan has... probably fallen completely apart.
Personality: Aggie is a young woman with a big heart and a bigger mouth, who has taken it upon herself to act as the party's moral compass, whether they like it or not. She's intelligent, curious, and always eager to learn new things, but her impulsive behavior and mischievous sense of fun frequently gets her into trouble. She enjoys cooking, and has a tolerance for spicy foods that puts grown men to shame. She prefers her nickname over her given name; Agatha, she insists, is an old lady name.
Life Spirit Name: She doesn't have one, but she has a fake clover shaped pact mark on her wrist. She doesn't really pretend to be a pact mage anymore, having found people who accept her for what she is. She's a natural magic-user, but the only change she experienced is her deep, crimson hair (which is her pride and joy).
Character Relation: Aggie has sort of attached herself to the other survivors from Welstram, and views them as sort of a surrogate family. Her relationship with Nobu, however, is more... well... complicated, to say the least.

Damien would be one step closer to millions if he can get his hands back on those gold mines.

damn! You beat me to it!
Yes, the gold mines will most certainly be an important part of Damien's psyche, so will his hunt for Daniel (which I plan to work into the plot, depending on how you guys would feel about that wink.gif)

Anyway, here you go:

Sign-up sheet
Full Name:Damien 'Gervaros' Howler (Damien now answers to Gervaros, based on the god's ties with creation and royalty, and gold)
Nickname: Damien, Gervaros
Race: Human
Age: 29 (it was his birthday during the story, but he didn't tell you sleep.gif )
Appearance: Calm and collected, blonde hair and wild crimson eyes. He wears tattered, black robes over a noble, red outfit, he also has a strange tattoo on his neck. He is about 5 foot 9, he looks very youthful and is often mistaken for being younger, though is often described as looking wild and scrutinizing. He is a rather slim, but very healthy.
Job: Mage specializing in creation, deception, and manipulation. Destruction, healing, and other schools are also fairly well developed, though not as much.
Weapon: Without his knives, Damien has resorted to relying on his magic much more. He has managed to 'acquire' a pair of knives, but they pale in comparison to his old ones and he prefers not to use them. His magic has advanced considerably, just in the short time free from the spire.
Background: He has been tutored by some of the finest minds from a very young age in both academies and physical training. His parents death, and the should-have inheritance of a fortune motivate him somewhat, but more than ever his experiences in Alsta have driven him further into darkness.
Personality: Still cold and calculative, the three years under the spire's influence have made Damien much more self-serving. He is much less light hearted than he once was, though often slips back into his old shoes. He is afraid to show weakness, or acknowledge himself as what he truly is sometimes. He also struggles to grapple with the unknown, attaching beliefs which he would usually find unrealistic and childish to it.
Life deal spirit name: Franklyn Howler
Character Relation: Daniel, I assume everyone knows Daniel. Franklyn, everyone knows Franklyn. Parents, dead.

Oh, and guess what. Leonard is dead.
Deal with it mellow.gif
However, for the sake of keeping things interesting...

Full Name: Essence of Ruined One?
Nickname: Daniel
Race: Ruined One, looks human.
Age: looks 26
Appearance: looks the same as Damien three years ago, though has a definite aura difference.
Job: possessor of people?
Weapon: Magic
Background: Originally the magical essence stolen by Damien from a dead Ruined One, Daniel is a culmination of ancient dark magic, Damien's negative personality traits, Franklyn's knowledge (unknowingly stolen), and the experiences of anyone he comes into contact with. After escaping from Damien in a set of knives, and then further escaping from the knives themselves (though the knives were never found after the Spire appeared) it is unknown whether he still exists...
Personality: Daniel is purely self-servant, though not inherently evil. Daniel embodies the intent of the ruined one's creator, and intends to fulfill that intent where his brutish brothers have failed. Were it not for Damien eradicating all but the most fundamental of dark magic from the essence, his existence would never have been made possible, and for this he has some respect for Damien, though Damien observes him as a mixture of imagination and harbinger of religious destruction.
Life deal spirit name: I believe this is impossible for Daniel
Character Relation: Damien, technically his father.

I don't really plan on roleplaying as Daniel, but I do intend on Damien 'seeing' Daniel. Damien never seems to notice that anything is amiss until Daniel 'disappears' and then realizes he was just talking to a being that doesn't exist (or shouldn't).
Franklyn sees this as a troubling sign. Damien interprets it as Daniel mastering a new kind of deception magic.
Time will tell which is true...

Alright, looks like we are good to go. I'ma have the rp up in just a moment.
Darkblade
Things are already moving ahead!

Great!

Well, I'm already done for the night.
It's 2:45am.
Darned time zones.

Okay. And Spirit, do you want A'Sia to know Jimba as an associate or as an old friend, since I think he's the only one besides you that wasn't with the main group at Diaga.

Perhapes Jimba knew what was going on and became associated with the plan to seize Rudolph at the assembly Whatever you choose I'll run with it.

Also, I'm adding a new NPC.

After learning Xavier's true motive, he abandoned him, scouting the streets for...potential. For twenty years, he has also been the Bishop of Polkuru. No one in Polkuru had seen his face until now.

Life deal spirit name: Airen
Her Appearance

((whoops didn't spoiler it right.))
Spirit_Master_X
Looks good to me. Accepted.

Also, I would like to say that any new characters coming to Alsta doesn't have to start in Polkuru...unless you want them to.
Darkblade
Hey now!

Lets get some conversation going!

Whats everyones thoughts so far?

About to get a new airship, but the group have no pilot?
Leonards dead isn't he?
Spirit_Master_X
You guys think it'll be ok if we meet Leo at the airship, or would
that be too confusing?

Aside from that, I believe we have a solid story here. But every rp
starts out a bit rough. We are in the point in time where the group
finally gets to have a huge dinner. Soon as this dinner is over
that is when hell will reign. So its like...eat now because this may
be our last meal ever.

Also [Sign-Ups are temporarily closed.]
Sparrowsmith
Leo is dead, or he can be... I would rather he be dead.
I can't see him surviving three years. He was a strong guy, true, and he had dedication when it mattered, but he also smoked, had no useful traits other than being able to fly, and often got into jams.
Let's not forget I nearly had him killed by a single ruined one once, how could he survive several?
I'm just being realistic, that man is DEAD.

I think, if he is still alive, Theo would be good to drive the ship... But he's not with us.
Or one of use could have learnt in the meantime. Nobu has some experience, so does Damien, I imagine Drake might as well. Between us I reckon we could fly a ship tongue.gif

Also, I do like how the RP is mapping out so far, it's a refreshing start from such a loose story into something more certain and decided. Now we just have to actually introduce some chance of death.
Frankly I think, as GM, you'll have to pre-plan battles which cannot be won (such as going outside to fight that mage at the moment) and if someone goes out then they deserve what they get. No more rescues and mercy...
Darkblade
Yeah, Drake can pilot if the others can't.

Although, whats the next location?
Ordelia?

Also, if theres another WoA RP after this, gonna have to add a proper Skills list.
The Job bit on the sign up sheet can be kind of vague.
Sparrowsmith
I agree, I'd also like to develop a thorough magic system (with help from the other mage RPers of course wink.gif) unless people like it as it is (a mixture of every magic system ever tongue.gif)

I also think, with such a devoted group of RPers, we could vamp up the religions, locations, etc
but maybe I'm getting ahead of myself...
Darkblade
A lot of everything needs some work.

The religions and Gods/Goddesses are pretty lame.
They do indeed need to be made more interesting.

Needs a world map too.
A proper one.
Spirit_Master_X
I welcome ideas. If you can think of solid locations and different types of religon then pitch em to me and I'll post them up here, or wait till the next WoA saga starts.
Darkblade
Hm, I'd say post any new ideas, but don't add them into the current story save them for the next one.
That way, it won't get so confusing and with more locations it will mean a possibility of side tracking which could just drag out everything.

We should get a wiki biggrin.gif
Spirit_Master_X
If we get a wiki then WoA could possibly be the best original rp ever!
Sparrowsmith
and WoA spin-off stories and RPs biggrin.gif
Dedicate an entire freaking forum to it cool.gif or a forum section...

Anyway, I wouldn't mind beginning to map this place out, but I can barely remember what we've said so far dry.gif

Welstram -> some place I can't remember -> Morento -> Diaga -> Popekri? -> Welstram

Yeah we can make Alsta bigger... And hire a mapmaker who remembers the names of places
Darkblade
Well, there are free wiki's available, so if everyone is ok with having their character on it, I'll make one.
Although restrictions. Probably won't be allowed a massive amount of pages on a free one.

I've had an idea for a spin-off RP for ages.
Several in fact.

As for the map, lets just sort out the main continent for now, which also needs a name.
Any thoughts?

World of Alsta is too big with possibility... tongue.gif
Sparrowsmith
if you, or anyone else, sets up a wiki then I'd be glad to fill it in with what I know (at least about Damien and some of the magic) and then we could use it to plan spin-offs and future plot lines...

Funnily enough, all this makes me want to do is write about Damien's childhood and days before WoA began. He mentions parties and dancing and I really feel like writing them down somewhere...
WoA The Early Days: A series of short stories based on the days before the attack on Welstram. Wouldn't be an RP, but would be fun tongue.gif
WoA The Magus' Mind: An RP based on students within the Magus Clan and people from Morento who try to bring down the Magus, though ultimately failing, happens a dozen or so years before WoA, contains references to the destruction of Welstram.
WoA Wonders of Welstram: The entire tale again, from a completely different cast of characters, on a completely different ship, meeting an almost identical end. Maybe there are other survivors? Could even run this along side the next WoA for added coolness.

Anyway, this has SO much potential, and let's not forget to applaud the great man who created it biggrin.gif *applauds thoroughly*

I love this one. The people of Morento once knew what the "early" clan was planning to do for the future. It could've been the Magus's
early planning stage or something. They wasn't secret enough to hold all the blueprints and much of it got leaked. The people of
Morento led a revolt on their so called "saviors" but obviously failed in the long run. Which is why they like to "persuade" people.
Sparrowsmith
I just look forward to getting to systematically kill off each character, with each RPer becoming Magus once they've died, and joining in the great cat and mouse game biggrin.gif

WoA just has too much potential.
Spirit_Master_X
I guess that explains what happened to Theo then <_<
Sparrowsmith
We'll have to have a spin-off RP for what happened to theo cool.gif
Theo is dead though, or might as well be.

How about WoA from fifty years before-hand? I could RP as Frankyln Howler ohmy.gif
WoA in the future? Technology and magic in constant battle?

We simply must milk this idea for all it's worth yes.gif
Nicsp
I DID actually plan on having Theo make a sort-of epic return later on...If you guys want to kill him off though, feel free.

I actually intended to have him as being found by the Magus and later, while we were at Welstarm, he'd show up as slightly conscious ruined one. Just an idea though, if you guys wanna do anything else with him, feel free. Not like he's really my character to start with >.>

I've got most of a story done for a post-modern day story (set in 2014) and a story set 200 years after the current story.
Both stories assume the worst of the current scenario (Welstarm remains destroyed and Silishala takes over as the leading power of the continent and the magus clan and affliates are killed.)

Realistically, he is probably dead.
Although, I think it would be kind of cool to see him saved by another group, possibly the sole survivor of A'sia's group.

I love the first one, more back story for each character, the type of stuff which would be brilliant for the wiki, which is slowly being started up. Will probably take a lot of work to fully customize.

What about WoA: Lost Heroes (name is a a bit iffy). This one centers around A'Sia and the years between WoA and WoA: TET. Though this is really up to Spirit since it's his character.
Spirit_Master_X
That's not a bad idea. If I do that, however, I'll probably just write out what happened instead of rping.

Darkblade, if you need help with the wiki just lemme know.

Edit:
Heres a few logos I made on cooltext.com

pics

Darkblade
Sent you a message Spirit.

If anyone else would like to give a hand, please let me know and I'll send you a link.
I'd rather not let it be to open to any one just yet, I'd like to get the foundation set out before theres too many pages.

As for the logo, those are pretty cool, I like the lower one, kind of stoney looking. biggrin.gif

I already found it and had a peek last night, sorry. Nothing gets past me wink.gif I'm also happy to help once it's a a bit more fleshed out.
Spirit_Master_X
I'm afraid the secrets out. Just googled it and it came up lol Isn't that awesome?
Darkblade
Considering its age, yeah.
I didn't realise it would be online as soon as it was registered, otherwise I would have waited for it to have some real content.
I'll have to see if it can be made private.

Part of me is all "Yeahhhh!"
The rest is "Trolls.... everywhere..."

Spirit_Master_X
Hey guys, just wanted to show off the first official WoA website page. Don't get too excited, it is just an intro page. I'm going to show more previews as I develop further. Also, those torches you see are animated. However, because I had to take a screenshot, they are stiff. Can't publish this baby yet until I'am done with the whole thing lol. So, just sit tight for now. Hope you guys enjoy it.

Intro page
Sparrowsmith
looking good

and wow, a lot happened recently. Anyone else really excited for this battle? biggrin.gif
Darkblade
Not me, I have a bad feeling about it with the state everyone is in.

On the other hand, Maxwell Million is a bit of a goof.
He could very well lead his men to death.
Unless something has caused him to change dramatically recently.
Spirit_Master_X
Max is your character right Darkblade? Who should control him?
Darkblade
I thought you had plans for him coming up, so maybe you should.
I guess I could if you want, but if you had specific plans for him, you might be better off doing it.
Spirit_Master_X
Nah, you play Max the best! happy.gif
Sparrowsmith
If Darkblade does not post as max then I will cry mellow.gif I refuse to post until I have seen the pirate in action!
Spirit_Master_X
I think everyone should take turns controlling the story. Maybe some of the other role-players have ideas in mind. Maybe they see the story going this way. We can't call ourselves a role-playing community if only one or two people are controlling the story.
Sparrowsmith
I'm good with this, I have an idea or two biggrin.gif
Spirit_Master_X
Send me a pm of what you had in mind
Darkblade
Lets talk about the current map.
For now, lets just consider it a prototype to lock in the most prominent locations so far.
We'll make a newer one eventually, probably gigantic if I have my way biggrin.gif

For now, the current one just mentions prominent locations important to the current storyline.
I mean, after all, Sparrow had 3 ideas to run along side the current story?
