This question has often come up, so its about time a small tut was made for those wanting to know
how to capture a screenshot the easy way.
Firstly, you can always use the Print Screen method, and then use Paint to edit it. However, there
is quite a nifty little program out there called MWSnap v3 that will, with a few clicks do it all for you.
Iv'e used a load of programs in my time, including my own PS, but for those wanting something nice
and easy, then use MWSnap 3. In time, you will be able to do this in a few seconds...oh and its free.

MWSnap 3 download

Step One.
Click on your MWSnap shortcut.

Step Two
It will open up and prompt you to click on what screen area you want (ie) window screen only).

Step Three
If its an rpg game shot you want, click on window screen only.

Step Four
Pop ! Its done.
Now look at what format you want to save it to, ie PNG or BITMAP etc...then click on file, give it
a name and save it.

Step Five
It will automatically save it in your Picture folder.

Step Six
Using any Pic editor (most PC's have a decent pic editor) even Paint, you can resize your picture.
Eg 500x 397 pix.

Step Seven and finally....
Find an Image Host provider....ImageShack is very good for example.
Upload your captured screenshot image.
In your R3 post click on "Insert Image" (one of those little boxes at the top)
Paste your ImageShack http IMG link.
Click Post !

Nice and easy...infact very easy. Hope this helps those who have wanted to post their images up. DH.

I've seen this question asked many times before.

I like shotty. It has a simple built in editor, and can automatically upload your screenshots.

Otherwise, nice tutorial smile.gif

You can also use Deviantart too. Thats what i use to host my image.

OOPS sorry my bad!

Honestly, I've always used the original method, it seems a bit redundant to download a program to do the exact same thing that the system can do, in the same amount of time, and can do the same thing without downloading anything. It really sounds like it would take longer.

Gyazo is a program that automatically takes a picture (you drag the desired screen area) and uploads it to a image link automatically. It's really quick and I prefer it over print screen-ing.
