Senior student Jun Thao and a fellow student stood underneath a tall tree. It's leaves spread amongst the green grass of the school. White pedals also filled the area by the cool breeze that swept through the school. Other students were taking advantage of the fine day, training and talking. "It's strange how Master Wu Shin has the same name as the emperor" the student said. "From what he's told me, Master Wu and the emperor were both born as twins. The parents could hardly tell a difference in their appearance, so they were both named Wu Shin. The emperor is named Wu Shin the Greater while Master is Wu Shin the Lesser." The student nodded her head. "I...I see...Up for a little spar? I know I can't beat you yet, senior student, but I would be honored to learn."
Jun Thao turned to see if there were anyone in the sparring ring and nodded his head. "Very well. There seems to be no one in the ring at the moment. Perhapes I can use this time to learn myself." The student nodded her head and smiled. "Thank you senior student."
The two students met by the sparring ring. Both of them stretching, getting ready for their duel.
Aug 16 2010, 01:12 PM
Thiro looked on with interest as a Senior Student prepared to spar with a weaker Junior Student.
"Tssk! What is the point in such fights? Jun Thao will surely learn nothing from a fight like that...." Thiro had been resting under the cool shade, enjoying the contrast it held when compared to the direct heat of afternoon sun. Small breaches existed between the leaves of the tree, but they only aided the effect; small doses of heat while a cool calm shade enveloped the rest of his body. Thiro had been reading a fiction book about a group of monks who embarked on a grand quest to fight a monster which they couldn't possibly beat. The monks all knew they would lose, yet nonetheless they still persisted to fight the beast in order to save the residents of a nearby Village.
He had not yet finised the novel but was enjoying it so far, even if he couldn't understand why the Monks would do such a thing, as enter a battle they couldn't win. Thiro grew somewhat envious of Jun, as it had been days since Thiro's last spar, so he glanced around before hopping to his feet, hoping to spot someone he could share a brief fight with. He spotted many Junior Students, but had no intention of fighting them; they were Junior students for a reason. No, Thiro wanted someone togher, someone he could hope to surpass in the future and make a rival of. He wanted a challenging opponent, and so, with his book resting on the lush green strands of grass under the darkness of a tree's protective shade, Thiro took a walk.
Aug 16 2010, 01:19 PM
Ai shan grabbed a student by the collar and pulled him to the ground, "It's your day." he boasted. The student picked himself up worriedly; tried to run away. The Loud Mountain grabbed him and pulled him along the ground. "Do we have to do this?" the student asked hesitantly, "Yes" Ai Shan barked.
Finally the two of them made their way to the sparring ring, the lesser student still being dragged through the dirt, "Oh what is this?" Ai Shan shouted, staring furiously at Jun Thao and a student, "Can you hurry this up? I have my daily ritual to complete."
Aug 16 2010, 01:32 PM
"Hey loud mouth, does harrassing those Junior nursery kids really increase your ego that much? Beat them all you want, it won't help you improve at all. In fact, you'll become accustomed to their low skills, and get weaker. Then again, can a member of the Shan family really get much weaker? After all, your love of beating junior students shows how desperate you are to win a fight, so you're obviously incapable of handling anyone else..... or am I wrong? Could you handle someone stronger, like me for example...."
Aug 16 2010, 01:44 PM
(Sucks I gotta go to work. I'll post soon after I get off.)
Aug 16 2010, 02:58 PM
Ai Shan screwed up his face violently, "Oy! You're already on my list. This isn't about training, it's about money. If you have money for me to win then I'll fight you, if not then I'll beat it out of this punk." he shook his hair and looked at Thiro, "I could take you down in a second, so shoo and let me do my business"
Aug 16 2010, 03:18 PM
"Oh yeah...? Well I may just have some money for you, though I'm surprised someone with your intelligence even understands what money is, well don; you deserve a clap on the back. If it's a bet you're looking for, then name your price and I'll match it. Then I'll win it back after I beat your pathetic back side into Oblivion. Heck, this baby probably hasn't even earned any money to give you, did you even take note of that? That he could be one of the many poor students of this academy? And also, no you couldn't take me in a second, if you were to take me down, as unlikely as it is, then it would at least take you several minutes.
Aug 16 2010, 03:38 PM
Ai Shan began getting aggravated, "What'd you call me?" he rhetorically asked, "Now you're just begging for it."
He thrashed the air with his fists, then gathered himself calmly into his battle stance. He jabbed at Thiro several times viscously to start the fight.
Aug 16 2010, 03:52 PM
Thiro had been prepared for an attack, and ducked under the first few jas before rolling out of the way of the restm simultaneously drawing his Katana from its hilt on his right hip. He held Sanctioned Crime backwards, with its blade running upwards, along his arm. For this fight he alse held it with its sharp edge pointing towards him so that his strikes would not slice Ai, even though it was tempting to see how much of a mess he could create by decapitating him. Thiro lunged at Ai wildly and recklessly, however this was merely a cover for his real assault; he swung to Ai's right, and attempted to swipe at his right hip, focusing on brute strength rather than speed so that the impact could be enough to end a fight with an aveage man. At the same time, Thiro peformed a leg sweep with his right leg, attempting to trip Ai onto his back; the two attacks were timed so that if Ai failed to dodge, he would be struck in the hip and then knocked onto his back.
Alright... combat mindset.. combat mindset...
Aug 16 2010, 04:06 PM
Ai fell straight backwards, rolled over his head, then leapt back onto his feet. "See, this is why I have a system. I'm gonna get so worked up fighting you that I'll probably kill the next poor guy."
he glanced at the blade Thiro had brought out, then raised his arms. Ai lunged forward again, punching faster and wilder than before, his hands pointed strong and streamlined. At the flourish of the attack, Ai summersaulted over Thiro's head. Half way into the dive, Ai placed his hands on Thiro's shoulders to push him over while Ai landed.
Aug 16 2010, 04:55 PM
Hao got into the middle of the fight. " Alright, that's enough." He said. He looked towards Ai Shan and Thiro. " If you guys are going to fight....wait until they're done in the ring and fight with honor there. You're disrespecting Jun Thao and his opposition. Chill." Hao looked at them for a little while longer to see what they said.
Aug 16 2010, 05:18 PM
Thiro cursed under his breath, rubbing at his cheek from where Ai had landed a few punches.
"Look, I was merely trying to help a fellow student in need, who had been harrassed by this goon. Is the aid of our friends, as well as team work not important than some ancient codes? I mean..... is a strong Alliance not more important than some false honour? If so, then it shouldn't matter where a fight take place if it's for a matter of Alliance.
Aug 16 2010, 05:26 PM
" I get your idea, for I too am a follower of the Closed Fist. However, if we don't knnow how to restrain ourselves and control our emotions and lust for power, we won't get anywhere." Hao paused, and looked directly at Ai Shan. " Think of it as a lesson. A lesson that could get you places." Hao secretly whispered to Thiro, "Although I do see why you wanna kick his ass."
Aug 16 2010, 06:57 PM
Jun and his sparring partner both witnessed the fierce striking done by Ai Shan and Thiro. He turned to his partner, "This will only take a minute Ruka." she sighed as Jun moved to stand infront of ai Shan. With a brief glance at the younger student Ai Shan brought to the ring, he spoke in a calm voice. "Ai Shan has dishonored Master Wu's code of conduct. You may leave." the student got up and ran from the pair. He turned back to Ai shan. "Ai Shan, your agressiveness with the other students is becoming intolerable. Such behavior is a sign of a corrupted path for power. For someone so young...You need to leave here and think about what you've done."
"Indeed he does." a voice appeared from the side. "Master Wu!" shouted Jun as he knelt before their Master. He walked up to Ai Shan and crossed his arms, "Such treachery shall not go unpunished, my student. Wait for me in my quarters, I will have a word with you." Master Wu looked to the rest. "Consider this a lesson from either of you." Master said after walking back into his quarters.
Jun looked to Thiro and Hao. "Master seems ill. Whats wrong with him?" he asked.
Aug 17 2010, 01:30 AM
Ai Shan managed to keep his cool once the fight was broken up, "Hey. I was gonna wait my turn, this guy is the one meddling in my affairs and starting up trouble. Whatever, you're all on my list anyway, it's just a matter of ~"
He turned to see Master Wu, and knelt down immediately in respect and fear. He followed his command immediately and left, looking back just momentarily to cast a cruel gaze at both the student he picked up and Thiro. The look was universally recognized as meaning:
'this isn't over, not by a long shot'
Regardless, Ai Shan walked back to Master Wu's quarters and waited patiently.
Aug 17 2010, 05:33 AM
Master Wu closed the double shade doors to his quarters and stepped closely to Ai Shan. "My student. Lately' you've been showing such negative behavior towards your fellow students. Many have came to me to complain. Such ways can leave one's mind crippled and corrupted. I need my students cleared of any distortion for what I have planned for you all in the coming future. In time, the Celestial Bueracracy will need to be liberated from their captors. This mission will involve some of my best and brightest students, you included, my dear boy. You will need to learn to cooperate with your fellow students, for we all must learn from each other. Tonight, after the moon begins it's eclipse, you and a few other chosen students will meet to the top of the hill that overlooks the village. there I will explain your destinys. You may leave now Ai Shan, but heed my words."
Master Wu enveloped his hands in a blue misty wave and aimed his palm towards the door. The shaded doors opened without literal touch and Ai Shan was free to leave.
Jun Thao was there, leaning against the wall just outside of Master Wu's hut, waiting for ai Shan to leave.
Aug 17 2010, 05:44 AM
Thiro met Ai's glare with a smug grin, though he would've preferred t burst with laughter, it wouldn't look good for him. Thiro however, had no answer for Jun's question about the master, perhaps he was sick, perhaps even dying. Thiro was no wiser about the matter than Jun himself was, so all Thiro could say was; "I wish I knew.." Thiro then turned his attention to Hao, and bowed slightly, his hands clapped together. "You... said something earlier, about you also being a follower of the Closed Fst? You see, I'm unsure of exactly what my path will be, but are my actions truly that typical of the Closed Fist..?"
Aug 17 2010, 06:33 AM
Ai Shan walked out, smiling. He glanced over at Jun Thao, "Eavesdropping, are we?" He laughed and kept walking, no longer in the mood for violence.
He slowly made his way up a nearby hill and began to meditate.
Aug 17 2010, 07:08 AM
Jun Thao followed Ai Shan up the hill. His bright white cloak being carried off into the breeze. From the hill you can spot the Imperial Palace far off into the distance...atleast a silhouette of it. He watched patiently as Ai Shan started to meditate, but Jun sensed something...strange..."Something tells me that what Master Wu had told you, haven't changed your perspective. Why do I get the feeling that you will continue to walk down the wrong path, just as the Death's Hand once did? This mission Master Wu speaks about...what did he mean, exactly?"
Aug 17 2010, 07:53 AM
Ai Shan moved his hands through the air then let out a deep breath, "Quite the opposite." He said, very calmly, "I beat up students for their money, I use the money to buy training, I use the training to beat up students. Regardless of what and teacher has ever told me, they have not broken this cycle. My bullying, you may call it, teaches other students not to take what they have for granted. I consider it a service."
He motioned again and breathed in, "Regardless" he said cockily, "A mission is a mission. I don't have to pay for a mission, so I don't need money. I'm not going to waste my breath giving these students a service if I don't need the money."
He lifted himself into a headstand and spoke upside down, "Makes sense. I have no idea what mission this is, but I know that he is counting on me, despite me being a younger student, does that not say something of my strength and determination?" he rolled back over onto his knees and touched the ground with his forehead, "I still believe that the strong must survive by any means necessary. What service I use with my strength is my own choice and no one can change that. I may fight with an open palm, but I choose my opponents with a closed fist."
He straightened himself up on the ground and proceeded to take his breathing exorcises.
Aug 17 2010, 08:19 AM
"He said he was counting on a few 'chosen' not 'you' and taking money from your fellow students means they won't have any funds to purchase training for themselves, which in turn will hold off their chances of getting better in their techniques. This can setback the entire school. This has to end, Ai Shan. If you continue this, I will have no choice but to go under Master Wu's rule and throw you out myself."
Aug 17 2010, 08:41 AM
Ai Shan scoffed, "That's rich. I never strike the same mark twice. If anyone had any real financial problems I'd give them a refund or a plan or something, in exchange for some much services. I'm not that cruel." he laughed as if to say, I am that cruel.
"Anyway. Would you rather have several cowards who can't fight despite years of training, or one disciple who can truly follow the ways of strength? My influence hardly affects the entire school, now take your self-righteous talk elsewhere. If your were worthy of my presence you would have been called into the room with me, instead you stood outside like a common dog, listening in."
Aug 17 2010, 09:02 AM
"You were called in because you got in trouble. Hmm...I'll tell you what. We will set a match in the ring soon. If you beat me, I will give you all the gold pieces I have, and will leave you alone for the rest of our time here."
(Resort back to the Jade Empire RP Sign-up/ooc thread, to view side quests. There are rewards for completing side-quests. Just attempting something different. 1 quest is now available.)
Aug 17 2010, 09:49 AM
Ai Shan peered away and then back again, "You realize you're right near the top of my list, don't you? I might be hard headed but I'm not a fool. What do you want if you win?"
He glanced down then back again, "I mean, I'll probably win, but assuming I'm not strong enough yet, you must want something"
[OoC I love the side quest thing. Mind if I think up a few?]
Aug 17 2010, 10:26 AM
"All I'am concerned about is the safety of our students, and their dedication to learn. If I win, you stop your self-proclaimed service." Jun turned, his back facing Ai Shan. "Meet in the ring, when you are ready, if you 'think' you are ready." and with that, Jun walked off back towards the school. When he entered, Ruka approached him. "I'm guessing Ai Shan is in real trouble, huh? Can he be even more of a pain?" Jun sighed, "Ai Shan is...'different' but everything will be fine. We can begin training after he is willing to accept the offer I made him."
(Sure, by all means! Pitch a few ideas to me and I'll create the Quest Sheet with your name on it, to show who created it.)
Aug 17 2010, 12:17 PM
Ai Shan contemplated the wager. Never have to fight for money again, or never have money to train again, or lose my honor but continue my little enterprise. I could always lose and continue anyway. Maybe I win and he doesn't pay up. Either way he's gonna run me out of my job unless I can find an alternative income.
He picked himself up off of the ground and marched down the hill.
"All right!" he shouted, "I agree, but we're not just gonna have some quick contest. I've got some rules."
Aug 17 2010, 12:42 PM
Jun and Ruka turned to watch Ai shan approach them. "You dishonr Master's sparring rules? What is it do you have to propose?" Ruka looked at Jun and shook her head, "This is not allowed Ai Shan! You can't just forget about Master Shin's rules of this ring!"
Aug 17 2010, 12:54 PM
Ai Shan rolled his head, "No. No. No. You misunderstand. I propose that we have to fight two times. Both times with hands. However, if there is a tie after the first two battles then we resort to weapons. That is, if you're feeling up to it."
Aug 17 2010, 01:00 PM
Jun gazed at Ai Shan for a minute or two before calling Takashi, the sparring watch over. "I accept." Jun said. Takashi nodded his head. "I heard every word of your conversion." Takashi said as he turned to Ruka, "It is true that if both fighters accept certain rules of a fight, then the fight is legit. Besides, I don't think Master Wu would mind a few more fights, eh?" Takashi walked in the middle of Ai Shan and Jun and stretched out both hands. Jun slowly took off his cloak and tossed it aside. Stretching his arms and legs, he got ready for the duel. "Is both fighters ready?" Jun nodded his head. "Ready."
Aug 17 2010, 01:19 PM
Ai Shan hadn't been intending the fight to occur so soon, nonetheless he would fight.
He too began stretching his arms and legs and preparing for the fight, "Boy, I've been looking forward to this, just wasn't expecting it so soon" he laughed, entering the ring.
Aug 17 2010, 06:50 PM
"So there is something you can learn after all. Your enemies won't wait for you." Jun said. Takashi nodded to the both of them, "The battle between Ai Shan and Jun Thao...begin!"
Jun got down into a stance as he shouted, "Serpent Claw!" After bending his knees a bit, he held both hands up infront of him, his hands forming the head of a snake. His pinky finger and his index finger, on both hands, bent down as if he formed the fangs of a snake. With a swift movement, Jun stepped toward Ai Shan, his right hand, stretching to bite into his knee. His pinky and his index fingers were well-trained enough to dislocate his knee, which will render him useless in battle.
Aug 18 2010, 03:33 AM
Ai Shan charged forward then collapsed to the ground as his knee gave way, he rolled onto the floor grimacing in pain and cast a horrid gaze at Jun. He inspected his knee and noticed what Jun had done, "Oh, that's a cheap trick" he spat through clenched teeth. He brought his hands firmly against his knee, then looked around at Takashi, who seemed to be expecting a forfeit.
Ai Shan hobbled up onto his last leg and looked at his knee again. He smiled.
With a forceful and well aimed kick, Ai stretched his leg out fully and a gentle pop could be heard. He lowered it and checked it for pressure, "You must be getting sloppy Jun." Ai taunted, "You didn't quite get it out."
He tried to lean on the knee but cringed in pain, "You can have this one." he grunted, limping away, "Next fight is tomorrow."
Aug 19 2010, 07:49 AM
"Your enemy will not be easy." said Jun. He growled, angry at Ai Shan for leaving his own rules. The kid had much bark, but no bite. Any advanced fighter would atleast absorb that one attack, or atleast evade it. He decided not to let Ai Shan to walk away from this. He quickly dashed infront of Ai shan, and when he did, Ruka shouted at him for being so angry, "Jun! just let it go!" she shouted. Jun couldn't help but to shrug off her concern. He gently pushed Ai Shan by the chest, "Hold it! You think you can just walk away from this!? Your rules, your responsiblities! You think you're this great? you're nothing but a thief, disguised as a dedicated student. The majority of the lesser students here can beat you in any spar. You're just a common criminal, I don't know why Master Wu keeps you around!" Jun shouted. "Jun! Stop it! Just leave him alone for now!"
Jun ignored everything Ruka was saying and got back down into stance. "This is how real warriors fight. Till one of them are incapacitated. If you fail to continue then I automatically win by default. Choose, brethren!"
Aug 19 2010, 08:22 AM
Thiro sighed at Jun's over reaction.
"Don't you see, Jun? You win anyway. He admitted it. Therefore, your threat about you winning by default means nothing since he may as well leave now anyway; he lost. And if you declare that you automatically win both fights by default, then you're nothing but a hypocrite since you yourself would be breaking the rules. And also... you said yourself that he's a common Thief. Well I'm sorry to disappoint you, but there's no honour among Thieves, so why would he honour this bet, even if he loses?" Thiro collected his book and once again set himself beneath an area of strong, protective shade; half of his focus was set on his book, a quarter of it was set on the fight and the final quarter of it was set on keeping his guard up.
Aug 19 2010, 08:47 AM
[OoC bastard internet deleted my post
had to start over]
Ai Shan turned on his heel and marched, as best he could, over to Thiro, "Common thief? I provide a service for these students: I show them that in the real world you either get tough or die trying. They've had just as much chance to practice as you or I, so if they can't handle it then it's because they're lazy. Sure I take some money from it, but otherwise i wouldn't be able to provide my service. A thief, maybe, but I'm nothing like some toothless bandit on the road. I have honor."
He limped back over to the ring and got in position, "Glad to hear than you'll end my tyranny of bullying weaker, less able students by bullying me into fighting you while injured, weaker, and less able. You're a hypocrite, but I have my honor. I won't have my name tarnished by the likes of you."
he held his arms out threateningly, "Your move."
Aug 19 2010, 09:31 AM
Jun was tempted to slap Ai Shan, but Thiro's words haulted his advance. He growled with a tight fist and then sighed. "You're right." said Jun, lifting himself up straight. He turned to face Ruka, "C'mon, let's go see what Bushido has for us today. Bushido was the task manager. Giving students a couple of jobs or quests to earn money. They appeared infront of Bushido, as the chubby man turned around with an enthusiastic welcome, "Well! Hahahaha! If it isn't Jun and Ruka! What can ol' Bushido do for ya, eh? Here to conquer a few quests?" Jun and Ruka both looked at each other before nodding. "We were wondering what you had in store for us." Ruka said. "Well, there is one quest that has to get done, but no one has been brave enough to do it!"
"Hmm...I suspect a grade c or more?" said Jun. "Indeed" said Bushido, "Theres an old man by the name of Gujin whos spirit haunts a village next to Twin Rocks. I won't go into detail. To make it short, someone needs to put that spirit to rest. The reward will be four gold pieces (4 exp) each." Jun turned to Ruka, "You up for it?"
Ruka gulped..."A-A ghost...? I'm not trained well enough to handle spirits. Maybe you should take this one, Jun...I don' think I'm cut out for this yet. I'll stay here and keep watch on the other students while you're away." said Ruka. "Ok." Jun turned back to Bushido, "I'm in." Bushido laughed, "Also, you are free to take whoever you can find to come with you. I'll set you up tommorow morning, good luck!" Jun turned to Ruka and yawned..."Well, I'm going to call it a night. Perhapes I'll get Thiro or Hao to come with me." Ruka understood and nodded her head. "Well, sleep well."
Jun then walked away, heading to his small room, dove onto the bed and fell asleep.
Aug 19 2010, 01:53 PM
Ai Shan collected himself and exited the ring, still limping, he sighed and muttered crude curses, "Ditch our challenge to go do quests. He better be ready for our second match when I'm ready."
He crawled away from the hubbub and to his humbled abode. He meditated for a while and then fell asleep, still wrapped up as if meditating.
Aug 19 2010, 05:02 PM
Hao looked towards Thiro. " Yeah, The Way of The CLosed FIst typically involves ambition and power, the lust for it. It's like you seek to be the absolute best. Care to show it in a quick sparring match now that they're over?"
Aug 19 2010, 05:06 PM
Hao's words were like music to Thiro's ears.
"There's no need to even ask my friend... I'm always up for finding a new standard to surpass. So.... I suppose I'm a follower of the Closed Fist after all? Well now that it's finally decided I feel like I've dropped a large burden from my shoulders. That should help me in this fight..." Thiro immediaely led the way to the arena, grinning all the way.
Aug 19 2010, 05:11 PM
Hao began to turn to him. " I'm warning you...." Hao switched to his THousand Cuts pose. " I AM NOT someone to play with." Hao began jabbing at him with his fast moving punches.
Aug 19 2010, 08:05 PM
Master Wu feared for what was to come. For his empire and his students. But he couldn't risk exposing his identity. He was knelt down infront of a statue that resembled the Earth Dragon. I fear for the lives of my people. England threatens with marshall law and it will soon be ensued if they are not stopped. The statue reflected a voice back to Wu, as if the statue was alive itself. "Do not forfeit the battle so quickly, Wu Shin. Your students are well prepared for what is to come. However, I will tell you this...only a few will survive..." Master Wu sighed. I've received word that this school has been found...They are looking to destroy me completely...
Aug 20 2010, 01:38 PM
Thiro rolled to his right, dodging the jabs while simultaneously drawing his Sword, its metallic blade running up his arm as a personal preference of Thiro's for holding the sword in combat. While he continued to avoid Hao's strikes, he also performed a powerful sweep with the blade suddenly, which would at the very least send Hao flying onto his back if he failed to dodge. Thiro had already prepared his next attack.
Aug 20 2010, 06:41 PM
The sweep was sudden, and sent Hao flying out to his back. As he flew back, he managed to flip back to his feet quickly, all the while revealing the latest weapon at his disposal. " Tiger Claws!" Hao stayed in his Thousand Cuts stance, but revealed a more wild style. " You gonna sit there....or are you gonna fight?!" Hao began to lash up and down with his Tiger Claws, but kept one more defensive in case Thiro began to use his Sword.
Aug 21 2010, 07:54 AM
Thiro cursed at the Claws which Hao now [lol, Hao now] held, and roared out as his stomach was swiped by the upwards slash of the ferral combat style Hao now used the Claws for. Thiro, now in a berserk state, blocked one of Hao's attacks with his blade, metal clashed with metal and sparks flew wildly, burning lightly at whatever they touched though not enough to cause any real pain. Thiro shoved his blade upwards, Parrying Hao's Claw before attempting something completely different; the Spirit Thief Style, in which Thiro attempted to steal as much of Hao's energy as he could. This was a combat Style which Thiro avoided using on people in the academy, particularly meer sparring partners, however he could tell that Hao was tougher than most, and also the wounds on his stomach left Thiro in a thoughtless frenzy.
So Spirit Thief would have to do.
Aug 21 2010, 08:31 AM
Hwaising stood at the entrance to the two dragons school. His small pack lay by his side, and his polearm was thrust into the earth."Hello!" Hwai took a tentitive step farward "is anybody there?" When there was no answer Hwai wrenched the polearm from his side and hooked the end through a strap on his pack. With a purspusful stride Hwaising marched into the two dragons school,
Aug 21 2010, 10:32 AM
Hao almost immediately felt the impact of Thiro's Spirit Thief style. I'll have to steer away from him...this is getting challenging....I'll have to try to discourage him from using Spirit Thief. This could be risky, since once I use up all my chi, I can't use it anymore....but still. Hao sheathed his Tiger Claws into his shirt. " Dire Flame." Suddenly, flames ignited from his hands, and steam began to erupt from his mouth and nasal areas. " You won't be in Hao Kang--good health--after this match." Hao began to thrust flames towards THiro with one hand and charged and threw a bigger fire ball towards Thiro's side, in case he tried to dodge. I'll continually switch back into this style...gotta save my chi.
Aug 21 2010, 11:25 AM
Thiro flipped to his right, but it would do nothing. He held Sanctioned Crime out in front of him, but not even his prized sword could block a fireball, so the orb of flames was slipe into two, both of which struck the bare sides of Thiro's hip; he had avoided a direct hit but had still be burnt at his side, meaning he now had a weak spot, or rather - two weak spots. He ran towards Hao, trying his best to ignore the scorching pain. Suddenly, he skidded along the ground, sliding between Hao's legs before hopping to his feet, and throwing several punches towards Hao, once again resorting to his Spirit Thief Fighting Style.
Aug 21 2010, 02:24 PM
Hao was on his wits and expected Thiro to get closer. He flipped backwards after receiving 3 blows from the Spirit Punch, and began to throw several fireballs all towards Thiro and the areas surrounding him. I only got a few left in me. If he's going to take my chi, I may as well use the most of it.

Thiro foresaw Hao's attack, and knew that he was done for. So instead of dodging, he simply stood on the spot and returned the favour by firing a package of 3 Fireballs of his own, and that was almost all she wrote; he was low on Chi, and a pair of Fireballs burt on impact against Thiro's body, scorching his clothes and skin. He was knocked back 5 metres, and could only hope that Hao too would be struck by Thiro's own Dire Flames, to even things up as much as possible.

Hao began getting caught u in the moment and took out his Tiger Claws. He began to head towards the flames that were Thiro, and was heading in to finish the job, when he caught 3 fireballs already towards him. " This is what I get..." He knew it was gonna hurt like....well, he wasn't what it was like. But as he was burnt and fell back towards the fence and hit his back on a rock, he was pretty sure how it felt then. He tried to get up, but was only able to sit up. That was a pretty well thought out move he pulled. I can't really feel my body right now, so let's see what he'll do. I'm waiting...if he wants to leave, he'll have to take care of me first.....I'm almost all out of chi. C'mon. Get up. I dare you.
