I want to make a piano that will play some happy piano songs, so I went onto youtube found some piano songs and then used youtube downloader to get them into iTunes. Because they are videos I cant make a WAV version that can be imported into RPG maker. Does anyone know how to convert a video into just a song on itunes?

I dont think you can do that in iTunes, but here is a youtube downloader that takes any video you want from youtube and just gives you the MP3 for it. Make sure that any music you use isn't copyrighted, and always give credit for the stuff that you use from other people!

Yah, I thought of that, and realized I am going to have to give a lot of credit to people.

Would it be legal for me to give who played it, was song it is, who it is by, and its copy right date when you talk to the piano, because I am going to have it randomize what is being playied when you step on a tile, but if you talk to the piano, it will play a variety of songs that you get to pick.
PS: Sorry for my constant questioning, I just would like to see my game work.

So one of the songs I am going to use is a rag time song.
Ex:
Name: Maple Leaf Rag
By:Scott Joplin
Played by: chocotiger(youtube user name)
Copyright Date: 1899
Am I missing anything. I might just go to the library and see if they have a CD with his songs to make this conversion easier.

Whoa! Watch how many posts you do Owl. You might get a talking to by a mod or something for having so many posts in a row, you don't wanna get in trouble! Anytime you wanna add something else after you've posted just use the edit button, it's there for a reason

.
I'm not sure about copyright laws and free to play RPG games. You might want to look into that. I would think that if you added a disclaimer saying that you don't own any of the songs that you're using, and posting the necessary credit for all the music, that you would be okay, but don't take my word for it.

Ok, yah sorry for the constant posting I have been home all day and just waiting for you or someone else to respond. This whole thing is just new to me, I have been working on rpg for about 3 years and have always been the best at it. Like I when to the lab 2 days ago and decided to make a game after I did some variable testing that involved pushing a button to get the character to jump. When the counsoler saw what I was doing, he was astounded that you could even do that. So it is new for me to have people that are better than me at rpg and are kind enouph to help me out. =D
PS: I like my owl picture
PPS:YAH, I succesfully used the edit button!
