Takuro opened his eyes slowly and looked around. The entire world was white and he appeared to be on some sort of raised platform. "Wh-What the? Where am-" He felt a sudden sharp pain in his head. A pin fell onto the ground in front of him.
"A pin?"

Takuro picked it up. "Was never really into these things. But...I've never seen a design like this around Shibuya. Must not be popular."
"That's a Player Pin," a voice said.
An imposing man stood before Takuro.

"Welcome, all of you, to the Underground," he said. It was then that Takuro noticed there were other people besides him with Player pins on the ground before them. "You are all here for a common reason: You are dead. You have two options: accept your death and face oblivion, or enter the Reaper's Game and fight for a chance to live." Takuro couldn't believe what he just heard. How could he be dead? He tried to remember what happened. He remembered getting in a fight with his parents...again. Then he ran outside into the street and a car was driving too fast around the corner and...he woke up here. Should you choose the latter, each Player must forfeit that which they value most in life. You have 7 days to prove you are worthy of living your life, and you must complete a mission issued by us. Your missions will involve confrontation with negative human emotions manifested as creatures known as Noise. You cannot combat the Noise without partnering with another Player. If you are defeated in battle or fail to complete a mission, then you will lose your entrance fee and your right to exist. I wish you luck. You have a busy week ahead of you. Now, you must choose."
"I want to live!" Takuro shouted immediately. "I want to go back to the way things were!"
The man smirked. "Bravado...or merely idiocy? Regardless, put on that pin. You'll need it to play. Now," he placed a hand on Takuro's forehead. "I must claim your entry fee." A brief light glowed and he took his hand away. The light faded and he had a violin in his hand.
"Reinhardt!" Takuro cried. "Give him back!" He rushed at the man but was knocked back by some unseen force.
"You may have him back IF you win. Now, as for the rest of you..." he turned to the crowd.

Aidan stepped up, he swiped his hand casually back through his hair and addressed the instructing man, "Aidan Veery, businessman, genius and richer than any of these saps." He fasted on his pin, "Yeah this whole death thing isn't going to work for me, so you just do your thing and I'll do mine, ya know, time is money and I don't like the idea of being outta time. So take away my violin or whatever and let's get this show on the road!" he fixed his tie and stared arrogantly at the man.
The man stared back coldly before reaching into Aidan and performing the same light trick. The light faded into a small box.
Aidan jumped back slightly before chuckling, "Well played magic man, but I want that back."
"You'll get it back if yo~"
"I'll get it back when I win, thank you very much. I'm no deaf you know."
The man stared at him with contempt. "You're not the first arrogant person to fail this test."
"I'll settle for being the first one to pass, okay sweet cheeks?"
Aidan turned and walked towards the kid who yelled out before, "You got balls kid, you play the sappiest instrument ever but you got balls, stick with me and we'll get out of this mess."

Sojiro just stood in the commotion.
The man stepped up to Sojiro. "The only thing valuable to you is this blade, is it not?"
"It is not a normal blade.."
The katana disappeared.
"I will make this a little bit more even since all you knew was kenjutsu. I will grant you the ability to summon blades, however each one can only stay with you for 5 seconds. If you break this time barrier, Then the time amount you broke will count on future years if you live, example pass 1 second, 1 year is taken off of your life."

Sojiro smiled.
The man was surprised.
"A challenge worth trying"

Josh looked around at the white walls calmly. He switched his focus to the instructor.

"So, if this is the situation I'm in now, I'm just guessing I lost that fight. Maybe a little more than I had bargained for..." He turned his head and spit on the ground. It was also white. The instructor spoke. "Haha, maybe alot more then you bargained for. and from what I see, what you care about most, was what you were fighting for? So how much are you willing to give to fight for it?'

Josh looked around. he took the pin and looked at the man. "You're cruel. But that's a threat I can't refuse... "

The man put his hand on Josh's head and did the little light trick.

He pulled his hand off of his head and with it pulled out a photo of a woman.

Josh hummed under his breath
"...You dick..."

"Hey, you know what is going on here, Grad?" Said Haruman, to his arrogantly tall partner, Gradian. Standing at almost six and a half foot, he was defiantly strong, and almost aggravatingly confident.
"Not a clue. But supposedly we are dead. Hmph, if you didn't go into that fight with such bravado, I would still be alive, and you might have had a chance."

"OK, then. I want to live again, you?" Said Har in a calm yet enthusiastic manner ; he could not wait for what the day had in store for him.
"Yeah, yeah. I'll win this easily. Just keep out my way." Grad said to Haruman, indifferantly.
"We need to stick together. Remember what he said? Partners can only combat the noise. Whaddya say?"
"..., You need to learn to be independant. Get your own partner, partner." Gradian said, and walked away from Haruman in a cocky manner.
"Great. Ahh well. Hey mister instructor! Lemme into this shing-ding, holmes."
"Hah, you got some spunk about you, kiddo. Let's see what you get... or lose!" The man in a suit laughed. He then pulled out his broadsword, mina.
"Dammit. Ahh well, coulda saw it coming." Said Har, half-heartedly, and extremely disappointed.
"Don't fret! You get these in return! From the bag of mysteries, lets see your pins!"

From the bag, a slashed coin-like object emerged, followed by a symbol of a sword aiming directly downards, from a stone. Finally, a sword hilt with eyes either side of the hilt, in a silver background greeted Haruman and he instantly saw power in it.

"Oooh, havent seen that pin for a while... this'll be a good one!" Said the instructor comically.. "Remember, get yourself a partner if you want to win!"

Haruman then looked around, trying to find someone he thinks could help him in the tourney. His eyes instantly found sojiro, a swordsman who may help him to get out alive. Haruman then introduces himself.
"Hey, sojiro."

Meanwhile

Its for his own good. He'll get out of this, and so will I thought Gradian. He knew he needed to find a partner also, and starting looking about. It seemed that most people found one, so he just went up to try and get his pins and missions, and complete this little game as soon as possible.

"Hello.."
"I'm kind of stuck without a partner, wanna join up? Although I warn you. I intend to play my game a little bit more differently then others."
devex3
Haruman was surprised yet glad of the bluntless of the response. No-nonsense flairless victory is the only way out.

"Sure. I am Haruman, if you didn't know, but everyone calls me har."

Yuki stared in amazement at the entirely white world that surrounded her. Unlike some people who around her, she had clear memories of her death, and was almost shocked to find that there was an afterlife.
She didn't have time to "enjoy" it, however, a suited man with giant shades, began explaining the Reaper's game. He began going through players one-by-one, collecting entry fees of all those who wanted to participate. With the number of players around, this was going to take some time.
Eventually it came her turn.
The instructor raised an eyebrow as if to say "Well?"
"So, I either die now, or die later with a chance returning to life. I think the choice is rather obvious."
The instructor gave a devilish grin as he placed his hand upon Yuki's head. There was a flash of light, or at least it seemed that way to Yuki, and before she knew it, the instructor was holding a folderin his hand.
"Well this is sure is interesting," remarked the instructor, as he flipped through the documents. Yuk didn't know what was going on until shei saw papers regarding her high school enrollment.
"Wait! No! Not that!" Yuki exclaimed in total shock as he reached for the book in an attempt to retrieve it. The instructor grabbed her wrist to stop it, while simultaneously holding the photo above her reach.
"Don't go around breaking the rules young lady," the insturctor remarked wagging his finger. "If you this back, than you'll just have to win the game."
He gave Yuki a gentle shove, causing her to fall on her bottom. She bit her lip in frustration as the instructor nonchalantly moved on to the next player.

---

Henry was trying to wrap his mind around what the instructor had just said. The most he could get out of it was the fact that he was dead, and that everyone was going to be playing a game.
Before he knew it, the instructor was standing above him.
"Well? Will you be playing or not?" he asked.
Henry looked up, the man towered over him. But rather than coware in fear, he naively replied "I like games."
The instructor seemed slightly taken aback by Henry's rather positive comment, but continued his routine. "Your entry fee please." he said as he reached down to place his hand on Henry's head. Unlike the other players, the instructor did not produce a physical object, instead making a remark about holding onto a memory before moving on. Henry merely stood there, a rather blank expression on his face as if nothing really happened.

OOC: If we end up with an odd number of players, I'll just drop one of mine. In that case disregard the second intro.
Satou Asahira
(OoC: This will ruin my 666 post count. The sacrifices I make for you dweebs...)

"While I'd like to wait around for you all to get acquainted, as the businessman said: time is money. The Game starts now. May the best man win," the man smiled and the world was filled with light.

Takuro opened his eyes in the middle of a crosswalk. "Whoa! Why am I in the street?!" He scrambled to get back onto the sidewalk and breathed a sigh of relief. "Was I sleeping? Who brought me here? Was it Shades?" He looked around. He didn't see any of the others nearby. A person nearby walked right through him. "Guess I really am dead. Maybe I can find that businessman again." In his hand, he was clutching two pins. The Player pin and one he had seen on the streets a few times. "Weird." He tossed the Player pin in the air and snatched it as it came back down. Suddenly, his mind was overloaded with voices. "Wh-What is this?"
"Ew, that hairstyle is so last season!"
"Man, second date tonight! I'm so stoked!"
"Ugh, what's up with this homework assignment?"
"Are these people's thoughts? So this pin has that kind of power." He looked again at his surroundings. Same Shibuya he grew up in. "Well, time to see if I can find anyone else." He wandered down a back alley and towards the electronics district. It wasn't long before he found the businessman. "Wow! I'm so glad I found you!" Takuro said and ran up to him. "I'm Takuro Ibuki. I'd like to form a Pact with you if the offer still stands."
Scriptless
"Hm, now where am I? Well I better wander around until I see someone I know."
Satou Asahira
(OoC: Don't know if it was clear or not but everyone was separated and sent down to Shibuya. So you're not with Har anymore Scriptless.)

Josh looked around. He was in a back alley in Shibuya.

"I don't get it? Did I fall out here?"

He got up and looked around. He inched towards the street as he started to hear talking. Lots of talking. He covered his ears and it wouldn't stop.

"What the hell! Shut up! SHUT UP!"

He got on his knees. People kept walking by. He reached into his pocket, the voices still ringing out in his head. There, he found the player pin he had been given. He dropped it on the ground.

"So that wasn't a dream? The hell? What am i supposed to do? What's the mission?"

He got up and looked at the pin. He took it up, and rapped it in the wrist band he had been wearing and stuck it in his pocket. The voices didn't resonate at all hardly now.

"I figure I should I should look for someone... I can't lose my life at this point. I can't lose her either. I won't let it happen..."

He walked down the street to search for what would be his future partner...

Aidan looked at the kid who'd approached him, "Yeah the offer stands" he nodded, a little confused as to where they were, "So what's the plan kiddo."
Satou Asahira
A man in a red hoodie was standing nearby. "Pact confirmed," he said to himself. It was quiet but still loud enough for Takuro to hear.
"Huh? Is he-?" He felt a pain on his right hand and noticed a timer readout displayed on his palm. It was currently displaying 59:53. "What's this?" Just then, his phone beeped. "A text? Surprised the land of the dead has reception." It appeared one was sent to Aidan's phone too.
"Get to 104 before I tear you a new one. You have 60 minutes. Fail...and I kill you," was all the text said. The sender was marked "Unknown".
"Looks like this is our mission. I grew up in Shibuya so I know where 104 is. It isn't far so let's get moving." He began to walk in the direction of 104 when a strange red symbol floated towards him. "What's this?"
A strange frog appeared before him and leapt to attack!

It kicked him square in the chest. "Argh!" he cried and fell back. "This must be...Noise?!" He looked back to Aidan. "We have to fight! Come on!" More frogs showed up to join the brawl. Damn, how am I supposed to fight these things? He noticed the other pin he had fastened to his shirt. What does this one do? He focused on the pin and blare of sound crashed into the Noise. They were knocked back and physically shaken but still had the will to fight. I can do this...!
Sparrowsmith
Aiden chuckled, "ha, see I knew I made a good choice, lead the way." they barely took two steps before a large unconvincing frog jumped out and knocked the kid back. As more of them appeared Aiden quickly realized the situation, "Pins, eh?"
He fumbled around with his second pin as the toads grew closer and closer, and slower. Veery examined the nearly stopped world before it snapped back into life and hit him squarely in the face.
He tried to think something funny, like learning the hard way, but decided to apply a little bit of physics to the situation. Momentum is mass and velocity, velocity is distance divided by time. If he moved faster through time, then his velocity and therefore his momentum would increase.
He cracked his knuckles before spinning his pin again, in a flash he lunged forward and sent one of the 'Noise' flying backwards, before easily pushing another clean into the wall.
And then came the snap and the revenge, and the learning the hard way.
Aiden picked himself up off the floor. It seemed the slower he made the world, the less time he could slow it, so hopefully slowing it just a little would give him an edge without the sudden jump back to reality... Unfortunately for Veery, the time it took for him to realize this was just enough for his previous target to escape the wall and return the favor.

"Hm, well got no time to waste.."
Sojiro went to the scene looking for his partner.

After being enveloped in a blinding light, Yuki found herself in the middle of an alleyway.
"Huh? What's going on?" she said outloud. She quickly made her way out into a busy street, people passing straight through her, confirming that she was indeed, not of this world.
Her thought-process was interupted as she heard her cell-phone go off. She answered to find the message: "Get to 104 before I tear you a new one. You have 60 minutes. Fail...and I kill you."
"104! We're in Shibuya!" exclaimed Yuki as she frantically looked around. She was famiular with the 104 building, having been to Shibuya once or twice in her life, but she didn't know exactly where it was. "I'm going to have to find a partner who knows where this building is!"

---

Henry wandered around the busy street of Shibuya. He had gone up to many random strangers asking for directions, but everyone ignored him, as well as pass right through him, but that didn't bother him.
Sighing, he put his hand into his pocket and pulled out his player pin. Instantly, the crowd grew louder. All sorts of statements Henry could not understand why people would say out loud, but that wasn't his business. He put the pin back in his pocket and renewed his search for a partner. He was supposed to find a partner right?
Satou Asahira
(OoC: Forming pacts should be your highest priority so I won't clear the mission until everyone has a partner. My character's lazy so I'll say he was taking his time.)

Whoa, that guy is lightning quick, Takuro thought as he finished off another enemy. Is that part of his power? He didn't seem to have it entirely under control yet and left himself open for attack. Takuro focused on his pin and enveloped the frog with solid sound waves. He closed his fist slowly and it was crushed beneath the pressure. That seemed to be the last one.
Takuro was breathing heavily. "When you got hit...I think I felt it too...Guess we'll have to look out...for each other..." He looked at his hand to see how much time had passed. 57:38. Plenty of time. "Well we still have a lot of time left. Let's take it easy and lay low. I'd like to avoid combat if we can manage it. Won't be long until we can reach 104."

"Hey, sojiro!" Har shouted as loud as he could over the street. After the shout, he felt a sudden pain in his hand. A timer read 58 : 43 on it.

"Hey!" Haruman shouted, one last time, and started running over, working out where he was.

"Hurry, I like to get things done early" said Sojiro.
Sojiro had arrived to the mission destination with his partner.

OOC : In all the missions i have done on TWEWU, instead of a blunt and aggressive "Get to 104 before I tear you a new one. You have 60 minutes. Fail...and I kill you."
It is more passive and neutral : "Mission : Get to 104. You have 60 minutes. Fail and face erasure.

OOC: The first day mission is always get to building 104. No need to rag on Satou when we're only on the first mission.
As for fighting noise, if you had paid attention, Satou's character has already made a pact.
And Finally, each GM has a different tone of communication. Like Minamoto's "X= 70 +34. From this text message, we can infer that the current GM is sort of a bully.

Aiden nodded, "Yeah, sorry bout that, I'm still trying to work out this pin" They continued walking until Veery turned to the kid, "I never caught your name, if we're sticking together on this I'd say that's pretty essential, I mean I could call you 'the kid' but it's a little unprofessional." he let out a short laugh and continued pacing down the street.

(OoC: Ryuga is exactly right. lol I had my partner and the first mission is always get to 104 and my GM is mean.)

Takuro stopped and thought for a moment. "Hmmm. I thought I had introduced myself already. Eh, maybe not. I'm Takuro Ibuki. I'm still in high school but it seems like I got a knack for fighting Noise. I was born and raised here in Shibuya so I'm familiar with the area." He extended his hand. "What about you?" As Takuro held out his hand, he noticed the timer was steadily dropping. But there was still plenty of time. Still, he knew they shouldn't blow off the mission for too long.
May the best man win. That guy's words echoed in his mind. Was this also a competition against other Players? Would a time come when he had to fight? Best not to think of it for now. He'd cross that bridge when he came to it.
Kratour
Jenis sat up against a wall, leaning back into it. He'd never been so confused in his life, why did he wake up here? The man had said he died... that he could play a game to try and come back to life, and he agreed. Then the strange man did something to him, and there was a bright light, then he was alone. A gentle clink sounded out as a small black pin hit the ground beside him- he picked it up, and no sooner than he did a second clink sounded on the opposite side of him. This pin was white, with light blue designs. He held them up for a couple of seconds, staring at then, then closed his hands and pulled his knees up to his chest, resting his head on them. He didn't want to be here, he didn't want to be in this place at all. And after a moment, he began to cry softly as he hid his face in his knees.
Sparrowsmith
Aiden shook Takuro's hand, "Pleased to meet ya, I'm Aiden Veery, business man and responsible for most of the tobacco industry's success. I know, it's hardly flattering, but it sure says a lot about my skills."
Veery noticed Takuro's interest in the time, he nodded and continued walking, "You're right, let's move out."

OOC: Hey Ryuga, Which one of your characters is going to partner up with me?

IC: Josh walked around til he was approached by an odd creature. He looked around, and foud that there was many of them surrounding him. Facing of them, it attacked him forward. Josh threw a punch at the creature and began to run in the opening made by the jumping creature.

:"Is that... Noise? So odd looking... I gotta keep running though..."

He ran until he seemed to be approaching another person. Only this persons presence wasn't one of a living human being...
Satou Asahira
(OoC: Ugh, I posted a reply but the internet here crapped out. Anyways, without further ado:)

"What the hell's up with this text?" Haruhi asked and scratched the back of her head. She flipped the phone shut and looked around. "That must be the mission. Guess I really am dead. That looked like Takuro there but I didn't get a chance to talk to him. Oh well. Regardless, I should find a partner. Not that I'm really sure I want to come back to life anyways?" She stared up at the sky. "Who wants to live in a gray world?"
She began to wander up and down the streets looking for anyone who had a Player pin. It wasn't long before she stumbled across a crying young boy with a pin at his feet. She knelt down beside him. "Hey, are you a Player too?" She wondered if he heard her over all his sobbing. He looked like he was just a kid. She put a hand on his shoulder. "Hey. It's gonna be alright."

-------

The 104 building was just ahead. "That's it," Takuro said to Aiden. "Just a little further to- Ow!" When he tried to approach, he hit some sort of invisible wall. Standing not too far was a man in a red hoodie with the hood pulled over his face.
"Not too fast, Players," he said and walked towards them.
"He can see us? I don't see a Player pin...does that make him a Reaper?"
"Bingo," the Reaper said. "The boss man told me he wanted to make this mission brutal for you all. He's hoping to erase you all before the day is over. If you want past this wall, you gotta do what I say. I say I'm hungry. Get me a hot dog."
"Whaaaaat? Are you kidding me?" He turned to Aiden. "Guess we got no choice. There's a place not too far from here. Keep an eye out for Noise though."
Sparrowsmith
Veery turned in disgust, "I'm guessing I can't just talk my way out of this one. Ok kid, you get the hotdog and I'll use my power to get back here with it fast, or if that's breaking the rules then I'll just try and cover your side of the battle too. Try and make this deal even."
He tried to start walking but found himself confronting the reaper, "Hey reaper man, are we aloud to insult you to your face?"
The reaper just grunted.
"Behind your back it is" Aiden laughed before walking out.

Jenis stopped crying the very second a hand had been placed on his shoulder, namely because it really surprised him. His head shot up quickly, large blue eyes even larger than usual as the stared at the girl. It was a few moments later that he managed to breath, and as soon as he was over his shock, he lowered his head, wiping his eyes as best he could with no sleeves. "Y- yea..." he said meekly, "I have... I'm a player." He took a deep, albeit slightly ragged breath. That done, he looked up at the girl, though it probably wasn't fair to call her that given how she was obviously a good few years older than him; "Who..." he began, slowly and softly, his voice holding a slight tremor, "Who are you..?"
Ryuga
Yuki made her way through the busy street. With all these people crowding Shibuya, it was difficult to find any other players. Her search was halted, however, as freaky red symbols appeared before her. Yuki couldn't even finish her next sentance, going only as far as "What the...?" before frogs materialized from these symbols.
"Yikes!" Yuki exclaimed, trying to swat away the frogs, to no avail. She couldn't seem to touch these beings. But that didn't stop them from hurting her, as they used their powerful legs to kick her backwards.
Yuki struggled to get up, but found the motivation to do so and run, as soon as the frogs began to close in.

Yuki was running for what seemed like forever, she didn't dare look back to see if the noise were pursuing. Just keep running, maybe find a partner.
In the distant she made out more frogs. Yuki was just about ready to give up, being surrounded by all sides until she noticed another person (Josh), who seemed to also be avoiding the noise. He was making his way straight for her.
"Quick! You! Make a pact with me!" she called out to the stranger.

"Dam, a wall. What do we do?" Har said, impatiently. They walked straight into an invisible barrier
"...that guy looks out of place. Let's ask him." Har walked up to him and asked him who he was.

"I am a harrier. Get me a hot dog!" The harrier said.

"....OK...." Har replied. He then told this to his partner.

"Behind your back it is" Aiden laughed before walking out.

(OoC: I freakin' cracked up. lol)

"If we can avoid combat and get it back here quickly, I'm all for it," Takuro said. "I never was one for manual labor. But if I get caught in a fight without my partner, that'd be you, I'm screwed. So we can either play it safe or Zerg it." He stopped and realized that since Aiden was a bit older, he might not be familiar with gaming terms. "That is, get it done quickly. I'll leave it to you to decide, since you might end up doing more work. We can talk about it on the way there." Less than 50 minutes were remaining.

-----

"I'm Haruhi Azekawa," she told the boy. "I was born and raised here and Shibuya...and I died here apparently too." She was silent for a few moments. "I'm still looking for a partner if you're interested. Stay with me and I'll take care of you." She could feel a bit of maternal instinct welling up inside of her. "Everything will be okay. I promise." She looked at the palm of her hand. Time was slowly but surely running up. The sooner they made a pact, the sooner they could get on with the mission.
She suddenly heard a sound behind her. She whirled around to see what it was. "What the-?! Are those...frogs?!" One leapt to attack her. It kicked her squarely in the chest with legs strong enough to knock her down. "Hey!" she cried and held her aching chest with one arm. "Those are sensitive you know!" She stood back up. "C'mon, kid. Looks like the Noise won't wait for us."

Not totally confident, but knowing that he had to do something, Jenis gave a nod. The frogs had scared him of course, and it took a couple seconds before he could speak, but eventually he managed. "I... okay, I'll um... I'll be your partner, Haruhi." It took all the effort he could gather, and managed to push himself to his feet, though he leaned back against the wall to keep his shaking legs from giving out on him. All things considered, it was surprising that he managed that- but he couldn't just let his new, and sadly enough only, friend get hurt because he didn't want to do anything. Still... "I... I don't know what to do," his voice was low, but it was a statement, as opposed to a remorseful cry of some sort, "I can't fight..."
Satou Asahira
"Hey, I'm new to this too. Before today, I was just a techno geek slash cosplayer. Now I'm in the middle of a race to come back to life with nothing but these pins." Realization dawned upon her. "Maybe this second pin I got does something." She gripped it firmly in her hand and focused on it. Electricity began to form around her. "Whoa...This is cool!" A frog hopped towards her as she was distracted. She screamed and held out a hand to ward off the attack. As she did, the electricity flowed from her hand and engulfed the frog. It was reduced to a pile of ash in seconds. "Hey, we can do this! Use your pin!" She faced the two other approaching frogs. It seemed using her pin drained a bit of energy and she could only use it for short times before waiting for it to reload. "This'll be fun," she said with a grin.
Kratour
"Woah..." Jenis said, allowing the word to trail off as Haruhi launched what looked to be a bolt of lightning towards one of the frogs, literally disintegrating the strange creature. A moment later, realization dawned on him. He didn't really know how significant the pins were, and he wasn't entirely sure what his partner did, but he got the general idea. He held out his right hand, gripping the white pin firmly in hand as he did so. And sure enough, a strangely tangible cloud of white mist seemed to pour from his clenched hand, stretching out with wispy fingers.

Turning, he focused on one of the approaching frogs, hoping for something to happen, and the mist receded... only to reappear, growing around the frog like creature. For a moment, it didn't seem to be doing anything, though Jenis could feel the energy being slowly sapped from his pin. The creature slowed down then, seeming to have trouble moving it's body, before collapsing altogether, it's energy being drained by mist that surrounded it. The boy donned a curious look, surprise mixed with something bordering awe. "Haru," he said rather excitedly, "look, look! I made that frog fall down!"
Satou Asahira
"All right!" Haruhi cried and gave the kid a thumb's up. "I think we got the hang of this now! Just one more to go!" Her pin had recharged and she was ready to test the limit of her skills. She concentrated and brought electricity over her fists before running forward and throwing a few punches at the frog. Each blow that collided sent millions of volts coursing through the frog's body, finishing it in seconds. She noticed the frog the kid attacked wasn't quite dead so she delivered a sift kick that defeated it easily.
"Okay, now that that's out of the way we can accomplish our mission. Do you have a cell phone? The objective appears to have been sent by text. We have until the timer on our hands runs out to get to the 104 building. Luckily for you, I've lived in Shibuya all my life." She held out her hand for a handshake. "By the way, I didn't catch your name."

Josh looked at the girl in distress.

"Alright, I need a partner!"

He ran up to the girl and started to push the noise surrounding her away. He then approached her.

"How do we do this? We need to get it done so we can get rid of these irritating creatures!"
Kratour
Jenis gave a slight smile, though it flashed only briefly at the end of the battle, when Haru defeated the last enemy. He'd have been content with just sitting around, seeing all the neat things they could do, but it seemed that his partner had a different plan. She said something about a mission that they had to complete, which sounded kind of familiar now that she mentioned it, and then proceeded to ask if he had a cell phone, since it seemed that their objectives were being sent to them by text. He looked thoughtfully down at his pajama bottoms, then back up to her, shaking his head slightly. "No..." he said softly, though it seemed that the tone was simply natural for him, "I don't. I mean, well, I do have a cell phone... but um... I was dressed for bed. I went to sleep in my room, and then woke up here..."

Curiously, the boy didn't seem to gather the implications behind that, or at least he refused to see them. He would have been torn apart had he known what happened, that he'd been murdered in his sleep, but he was just as nai'eve as ever. Then she held out her hand and asked for his name, and for whatever reason, he gave a slight laugh. It wasn't the kind of laugh that one gave from having made a witty remark or a joke, but rather the sort that someone might give due to a pleasant surprise. He placed his smaller hand in hers, shaking it lightly with a smile, "My name is Jenis," he said, "Jenis Lyriel. It's a pleasure to meet you Haruhi."

The other teen managed to buy the two some room, pushing away the noise. As soon as they were in an agreement to forming a pact, there was a flash of light. Suddenly, as if the knowledge was implanted into her head, Yuki knew what to do.
"Use your pin!" she replied, pulling out her non-player pin: a pink shade with a white arrow for it's design.
The pin reacted instantly as Yuki found herself firing lasers out of her palm. The first shot hitting the ground right beneath her.
"Whoops. Didn't think that was going to happen..." she said rather embarrassed. The frog noise closed in again. This time Yuki was ready, holding up her palm, aiming for the frog. She fired three shots in succession, all shots hitting the mark. The frog disipated into a cloud of smoke.
Yuki did the same for another frog, and turned to another only to find that the shots wouldn't fire anymore. "Uh oh! It's not working anymore!"
The frogs took the time to charge forward. Yuki yelped as she started running in small circles, trying to avoid the attacks.

"Likewise, Jenis," Haruhi said with a smile. Poor kid didn't seem to register what was going on. He was just a kid after all. Must be hard to comprehend the concept of death, let alone his own. "Well, Jenis, do you like games? We're playing a fun one right now, though it's kinda scary. It's called the Reaper's Game." She tried to explain it in a way a child would understand, not entirely sure if she was coming across as kind or condescending. She was so used to being the latter that it almost came naturally. "If we get to the 104 building before the time runs out, we can get to the next level. If we beat all seven levels, we beat the game. But we gotta work together, 'kay?" He was just a kid but he had the skills to pay the bills, to coin a phrase. Though they both needed a bit of polishing, Haruhi was confident they could make it through the game and come back to life.
Kratour
Jenis nodded almost continually while she talked, though it was more akin to a slight bobbing motion to let her know that he was paying attention. There were seven things that they had to do to beat this game that they were playing, The Reaper's Game she'd called it. It was dangerous, and they'd have to work together and try really hard to win. Right now, they had to go to a building called 104, and if they didn't get there before time ran out, they'd loose. "Alright," he said, reiterating the point mostly for his own benefit, "so we have to go to this 104 Building before time runs out or we'll loose the game..? I think I get it..." It worth noting that his voice wasn't as shaky as it had been, as he was growing more comfortable around his new partner. "Um... Do you know where it is..? I've never been far from my estate-" he blinked before hastening to correct himself, "I mean, my house."
Adriantepes
Josh took out his Pin which was white with a purple message in binary written acrossed it.. He held onto it waiting for something, anything at all to happen.

"Dammit! Do SOMETHING!"

He held it up a little and closed his eyes. Within a few seconds he opened his eyes and looked around. The noise had halted their movements and stood completely still. "What the hell is going on...?" Josh turned around and saw that all of the noise had halted. He then tightened his grip around the pin. The Noise then started moving again, but instead of attacking Him and the girl he was with, they started to violently attack each other.

"How is this possible? What did I do...?"

He looked at the girl and took her hand. "We have to go, I don't know how long they will continue to do this."
Ryuga
"Agreed," nodded Yuki in aknowledgment. "I don't suppose you know where the 104 building is do you? She looked up to find a building off in the distance, with a sign labeled "104" clear as day. "Oh..."
As the two headed the direction of the building, Yuki thought to strike up a conversation. "I guess we havn't introduced ourselves. My name is AIkawa Yuki. Nice to meet you."
Adriantepes
Josh kept running, Being dragged along by the girl. She then proceeded to introduce herself.

"My name is Josh. Josh Venos. This is somewhat of an awkward situation, but why are we headed to the 104 building...?"

[OoC ahh I missed stuffs, that very rarely happens, oh and yeah there'll be plenty more jokes where that came from]

Aiden looked quizzically at Takuro, he was about to speak when his question was answered, "Zerg huh? I guess a few years out of the youth culture and they start making up words. I'm thinking we'll stick together, unless we get held up again, then we're just gonna 'Zerg it'" he made quotations with his fingers and laughed light heartedly. He looked around curiously, "So where's the hotdogs?"
Satou Asahira
(OoC: It was kind of surprising that you took so long to reply. But don't sweat it. It's not like we were waiting on you to do something major. It's all good.)

Takuro laughed at Aiden's usage of "Zerg". He was a pretty funny guy. Takuro was glad to have met him, even under these circumstances. "It's over on Spain Hill. A bit of a trek but not too far. We can make it there and back in plenty of time and probably beat all the other players. Most of them looked like foreigners so I doubt they now Shibuya as well as I do." He led Aiden through the crowd of shoppers to the scramble. It was a large intersection that was practically the center of Shibuya. "Alright, down that alleyway there," Takuro said and pointed. "That's Center Street, although it's too narrow to be an actual street. Head straight that way and we're pretty much there." He felt proud of himself for being able to find the mission objectives so quickly. All those days of cutting class left him very familiar with the area. Even more than a lot of Shibuya residents.
As he started to head towards Center Street, he noticed gray and blue wolves running through the crowds. "Crap, Noise. Should we engage or try to go past?"

----

"Yup, that's right. Pretty easy, huh?" Haruhi said once Jenis seemed to fully grasp the concept of the Reaper's Game. Except for the whole being dead part, but better to leave that alone. "I know exactly where 104 is. Me and my friend used to cut class all the time and I'd make him take me shopping there for cosplay clothes." She smiled as she remembered her time with Takuro. She wondered if she'd ever see him again. Maybe once she beat the game. "Anyways, let's get going. Hopefully we can make it there without running into more Noise. But I know you got my back if we do, right?" she said and dropped him a wink. Normally she didn't like people, but she felt like she had to protect Jenis at all costs. She wondered why but dismissed the thoughts from her mind. Now's not the time. She started to walk in the direction of 104, then turned around to make sure Jenis was following okay.
Sparrowsmith
Aiden put his business model mind to work, "Well, you say we have plenty of time, and these things are only gonna get stronger, so if we wanna take all 7 levels we'll have to stay ahead of the game, plus if we take these out then they won't take someone else out, which means we can use more people as bait in later levels."
he scratched his head, "You know, if worst comes to worst this is a contest."
He took out his pin and span it a few times. With the world slowed he easily ran behind one of the wolves and kicked it clean into the other ones, creating a neat pile on the floor. As the world snapped back to normal speed Aiden shouted, "Takuro! Now! Do your thing."
Ryuga
Yuki couldn't help but give a look of suprise at Josh's comment.
"Wait. Are you saying you didn't get the message?" she replied as she pulled out her cell-phone. She cruised through the messages until she found the mission objective. "We need to get to 104 before time runs out," she said holding her phone for Josh to see. She then took a look at the timer on her hand. "Ah! I didn't think we wasted this much time! Come on lets hurry!"
